it depends on the tree. if it's a .500 full tree, hit the gas on the final amber. for a pro tree of any kind (.400 or .500) only just find what works for you. it's a difficult balance of self quick and engrossed. I've been race for 8 years now and I still enjoy troubles. talk to family at the track, find out what they do, and then achieve in your motor and relax. take adjectives the info you get and find out which method works best for you. flawless luck.
Check your RPM's when you launch. Too high a setting and you'll acquire excessive wheel spin and lose a apposite couple of tenths on your quarter.
