Honda first introduced the DOHC VTEC mechanism surrounded by the US on the 1990 Acura NSX. So for each couple of valves, in that are three cam lobes. The two on the outside are low RPM lobes and the one in the middle is the dignified RPM lobe. The two low RPM lobes actuate the two valve rockers, which surrounded by turn pushes the valves unfurl. The high RPM lobe actuate a follower, which is shaped like a spout rocker, but doesn't actuate any valves. The data show the circular section of the cam lobes touching the stopcock rockers, and the eliptical section pointing away. Thus the valve are closed in this stage.
During low RPM operation, the two outer cam lobes directly actuates the two spigot rockers. These low PRM lobes are optimized for smooth operation and low fuel consumption. The high RPM lobe actuate the follower. But since the follower isn't connected to anything, it doesn't cause anything to begin. This procss is illustrated by the digit to the right.
At high RPMs, grease pressure pushes a metal pin through the valve rockers and the follower, effectively binding the three pieces into one. And since the big RPM lobe pushes out further than the low RPM lobes, the two valve rockers in a minute follow the the profile of the high RPM lobe. The lofty RPM lobe's profile is designed to open the valve open wider, and for a longer duration of time, thus allowing more fuel/air mixture to enter the cylinder. The superior breathing allows the engine to sustain its torque output as RPM rises, thus resulting in sophisticated power output
That is basically how VTEC works. The picture to the right is a picture of an actual DOHC VTEC engine. Note that at hand are two cam shafts, one for the intake valves and one for the exhaust valve. For each set of two of valves, thought that there are three cam lobes: two cam lobes on the outside, and one cam lobe surrounded by the middle.
As I've said before. The VTEC components is nothing spectacular. DOHC VTEC is the most ambitious of adjectives VTEC varieties contained by terms of specific output (except for the up coming VTEC-i). Yet as you can see, the completing is elegantly simple. VTEC is Honda's solution to the design purpose of improving engine breathing at elevated RPMs while retaining smooth and economical operation at low RPMs. DOHC VTEC technology is currently used in the 160HP Civic Si, 170HP Integra GS-R, 195HP Integra Type-R, 200HP Prelude base/Type-SH, 240HP S2000 and the venerable 290HP Acura NSX. And these are only the US-spec cars. Saying that VTEC is a successful design is an understatement.

Question:i'm a ferrari fan honestly. i be witnessing alot of races w/ alot of impossible luck for kimi. how many times unpunctually in a see was kimi adjectives alone and out of nowhere his wing flies off or somethin totally all over the place happens that throws him out of the see. do u think he is in position, and do u think alonsos mclaren subsequent year is gonna live up to the expectation?

I think so, he be really unlucky all the time!! Alonso is making big mistake near McLaren and because of that Raikkonnen has more likelihood!
Raikonnen will not get a better opportunity to win the World contest than next year.

Unless ferrari drops the ball nouns wise during the bad season (highly unlikely) I would expect Kimi to be the next winner. McClaren will have to fashion a vast amendment to their car for Alonso to win again.

Raikkonen and Alonso will be the foremost title contenders next year, and the chase might run down to the wire. Although the title chase might be made tougher by surprise competitors similar to Kovalainen, Kubica or Rosberg (if Williams gets rid of trouble).

i'm a ferrari fan as resourcefully and i have no objection with kimi raikkonen within fact im really comfortable it was him by and large because he drives similarly like michael schumacher and as a ferrari disciple it is somewhat important.

I think Fernando Alonso is surrounded by for a a bit of a lean period at McLaren as the squad doesn't have a `name' designer and I can't see McLaren going from no win (there won't be any in the ultimate three races) this year to a highly competitive squad in 2007.
