African Americans within NASCAR?
Question:Are there any black NASCAR fan here that are in a group, on yahoo or elsewhere, or would resembling to form a group? I'd like to know other blacks that are and verbalize on race afternoon. I'd tried a group before, but it didn't work. Just distribute me an e-mail or answer here, of course. Thanks for the help/interest.

I see that profusely of people on here are aphorism you are being racist! Wow...adjectives you are trying to do is ask a simple question, not attain into a bunch of fights! I am partially black and am very into NASCAR race. It seems to me that nearby aren't a whole lot of non-white fan, but maybe someday that'll coppers. NASCAR seems to pass this certain portrait around, making it look like solitary whites are into it. And that was its lover base long ago when NASCAR come into being. But someday that may adjectives change. I'm a soul who believes anyone can like what they want, despite see or anything else. Isn't that one aspects of being American? Freedom is one of the best things nearly USA, and nobody's going to try to step on people who truly use freedom to do what they want. Sorry...I'm getting sidetracked...anyway, I would be interested in your group. You aren't individual predjudiced to want to have an African American group...you enjoy that right 100 percent to do that. I hope you find more people.

A lot of African Americans don't close to Nascar.
I have a righteous friend of mine who is half south Korean and partially black. He is absolutely huge into Formula one. He know virtually everything about it. He have wanted to be an F1 driver adjectives his life. He watches adjectives the races, have all the video games, and when he race the video games, he competes world-wide with anybody else that wishes to compete. His F1 video game score are some of the best existing. He is absolutely hooked with it.
It is funny how it is ok to form an "Africian American" group for anything but lately let someone try to form a "Caucasian" group for something...later that is nouns.
Ummm I don't think I am beng racist. I am simply stating that African Americans are not the one and only ones being discriminated against contained by this country.
As for blacks racing within NASCAR, let them. If they can seize the sponsors and can qualify for every race after let them see but don't holler "discrimination" when a black driver gets wrecked or get a speeding violation on pit road. If you are going to be surrounded by the sport then lift the bad next to the good and don't cry out when things don't walk your way.
nascar is the solely white mans sport gone!! you have the nfl=negro football league the nba= negro basketball association. and later baseball which has be taken over by latinos. golf now constantly dialogue about tiger woods and suddenly the sport is a black sport in a minute. so if nascar becomes black next the white boys may as well pinch up ping pong!!!

I have followed Nascar since the precipitate 60's.Every since then I hold seen several groups of blacks at abundant races.Even this long-gone race at Talladega sitting something like 5 rows in front of me be about 4 or 5 blacks surrounded by the group and behind me be 1 black with a group of whites.I view this as race fan.Even in Wallys world formerly the brodcast Sunday he took Sterlin Sharp around the Speedway.
When you watch the see crews you see several blacks,maybe not as several as you think you should but their are several in attendance.
My son did a black history month report a couple of years ago on blacks in stockcar race.Most of us have hear of Wendell Scott the first black to win a NASCAR race.Even some of us enjoy heard of Willy T.Ribbs who drove 3 or 4 race in the 80's.Even today we study as Bill Lester drives the 22 craftsman truck.But not many of us know the identify of the black driver from the 1950's.He drove for Carl Kiekhaefer,his name be Charlie Scott from Georgia,He ran one see in 1956.
Today nearby is a major diversity plan i.e. helping both fans and adjectives drivers.
Why are you trying to segregate black NASCAR fans from the rest of NASCAR fan. Question:Do you think that Vickers intentionally wrecked Johnson and Earnhardt? If so what do you deliberate should be done about it?

I be really pulling for Junior to win and was on pins and needles the second few laps. The item that bothers me is that Junior appeared to have a saloon that could pull away from them and argue a good saloon length lead even though Vickers be pushing Johnson. I can't help but estimate that Junior put himself in jeopardy by slowing merely enough to try to block the other two. He should own seen it coming and trusted the strength and speed of his coup¨¦. He could have gone to the bottom going into the ending corner taking the short way around. That would hold left Johnson and Vickers on the top through the corner where on earth Vickers wouldn't be able to push Johnson. I come up with Junior would have be able to come backbone up the track exiting the corner still in front of the other two. It is possible that Vickers would have tried to go past Johnson as they exited the corner and both would have lost the plus of the draft between them, but it would have be too late because Junior would own had at tiniest a car length head. I'm guessing that Junior will take this lesson to heart.
I don't give attention to Vickers intentionally wrecked Johnson. I don't think he have that much skill. I think it be an unfortunate twist of fate.

Intentional or not, it was wrong. A truly professional driver would not want to win underneath such circumstances. Brian Vickers has nought to be proud of with such a backhanded win. Jr. should hold won.
If your a true race devotee at heart, you know that's the way race goes. Do we win mad when our driver is the one man wrecked? HELL YES!!! we do. I believe that wreck was pure inexperience on Vickers constituent, but just resembling every other car on the track he needed to win. What made me mad the most be not excepting blame for screwing up and mortal sorry, he tried to blame the wreck on Dale Jr. Although he's leaving Hendricks, we can at smallest say he's going away a true Hendricks driver; pushing blame and being a crybaby!!!!! GO JR!!!!!
Vickers didnt intentionally wreck anyone,zilch to gain.If anyone needs to cry roughly anything,it should be the other 10 car drivers that JJ took out nearer in the see.Always in plate race,hes the cause of a core wreck.And as for Jr winning yesterday,it wasnt gonna surface even if they didnt wreck because Johnson and Vickers would have blown his doors past its sell-by date the last 2000 foot...
Nascar should take away that supposed win because Vickers' Backstreet Boy wannabe *** didn't win that lawfully. He took out the two best cars on the track to get that crappy win!
Dale Jr is the true champion of that race. He be smoking everyone. And Vickers had the cheek to blame Dale Jr! Dale Jr did not make Vickers verbs a idiot rookie move on the closing lap of the see! Vickers proved that the only means of access he can win is to wreck someone!
Then he sat near and dedicated that mess to Ricky Hendrick! I know that Ricky would not want a win of that type devoted to him. And we all saw that Rick Hendrick and none of the other HMS drivers be in success lane with Vickers!!
DALE JR IS THE WINNER OF THAT RACE AND THAT'S THAT!

I don't consider it was intentional by any ability, I don't think any racecar driver would want to win contained by that way. Vickers be trying to push Jimmie through and simply hooked him. Had Vickers actually fall into line at the back Johnson, the win would have gone to Johnson. Earnhardt have one of the best cars, but there is probably two cars is better than one.
Oh and I read someone else blamed Jimmie Johnson for the wreck earlier surrounded by the race. That is ridiculous, it be a chain impulse crash. They said it on the broadcast, it started up front with Kyle Busch and someone else and basically kept going through the field. That is Talledega folks.
No it be not intentional.Look close as they were race hard and the move for the leave behind.It looks as if the air get off of Jimmie and he back off and wiggle .When he tried to get fund in chain he did not get a well brought-up spot from his spotter and Vickers was closer than it appeared and touched the backside of Johnson and the rest is a wreck.

I don't know for sure if Vickers is an idiot and miscalculated, or is only stupid and intenitonally wrecked them. Either way, you can't bear the win away from him (unfortunately) - if you do, then you hold to go final and take Jeff Gordon's win away from him within Chicagoland (when he wrecked Matt Kenseth, and a lot more obvoiusly), and other bump and run win.

I like NASCAR. Most NASCAR fan are not violent types. I own to wonder if you're making this up to insult those of us who choose to love Nextel Cup racing...you see more hanger-on violence at a soccer meeting than at a NASCAR event.

You must have go to the infield. I have be to many race and believe you me it was not complex to find some easy on the eyes females at the race.If anything it would be hard not to find something pleasing to look at during the see.

Why NASCAR drivers won't answer?
Question:I recently read that NASCAR drivers refuse to answer the question in the region of the confederate flag flying (still) at races. What's your clutch on this? Please note that I am not asking give or take a few the flag, but about the drivers. What are they afraid of? Can NASCAR every truly find rid of its tainted representation? 10 points for the most objective answer and show some respect please. This go for all. Thank you.

Because what does the confederate flag have to do next to the drivers? NOTHING! I don't think NASCAR have a tainted photograph...people who don't resembling NASCAR are the ones who think that for the most member. By the way are you wise saying that the tracks themselves fly the confederate flag? Or are you referring to the fans flying it at their own campsites? It mode different things to different people; and while I myself would not fly one, I am not annoyed by it. Yes, the war completed long ago but the confederate flag is part of US history, approaching it or not. I am far more offended by relatives who fly the Mexican flag here in the US.
They don't want to lose fan or make their fan angry. If a driver says they support the confederate flag, next black fans may assume he is racist and the medium would try to make him look racist as in good health. On the other hand, if they say aloud they are against it, then the fan that fly the flag will probably get nutty at that driver and not cheer for them anymore. I hope this makes sense and you might take it a little more presently.
you know years ago i used to think that the dissident flag was a sign of intolerance and should be loathed by any erudite practical person. consequently i began to socialize next to blacks and realized that they be just as racist as any redneck i have ever met. they want to display their African heritage and their militant anti-white leaders with complete freedom and anonymity. so after i thought hell why do they get to own freedom of speech and not me?? can i not be proud of whatever i want newly as they??? if my ancestors fought in the civil period of war can i not be proud of that fact??? so my rob of it now is that i will merrily display the flag whenever possible. not so much as to provoke, but as a sign of my freedom to do so. so to all of you blacks i enunciate whenever you denounce your heritage then so will i. until that hours of daylight i will fly the stars and bars similar to it or not!!!!

Actually your interrogate is not entirely true. Jr has commented on the flag when asked. He have stated that he does not agree or condone those that use the flag for "racist" purposes. He also stated that he sees the flag everywhere but in that is nothing you can do just about banning it.

I'm not too sure that it is really an issue that the drivers have spent much time thinking give or take a few. The sport has moved beyond its southern roots and as such I'm sure that most of the drivers haven't made it an issue. To be honest, approaching a lot of Americans, they don't own feelings one instrument or the other. With that, I'm sure that the flag doesn't really have much significance to most of the drivers and that's why they don't really enjoy an opinion.
