mommy2 have the best answer but until the pinheaded media made it an issue within South carolina NAACP and pretty much everyone else ignored the flag flying above the capitol. Now it is surrounded by a more promient display area to honor the civil period of war dead thats why the NAACP have their third rate boycott which makes them look stupid as usual for the businesses it hurt be their own and they even conned athletes in joining their boycott especially the Harlem Globetrotters who refuse to play in SC until the flag is gone.
