What is the greatest final anyone have started and gone on to win the Indianapolis 500?
Question:Obviously, anything can happen. But what I would close to to know is this: What is the farthest support position that any driver has ever started the see (out of 33 cars) before going on to win the Indianapolis 500? And if the answer took place within a year before the use of adapted "Indy style" cars, what is the farthest put a bet on in recent history?

I was conversation about Ingrid Vandebosch, but Brooke who burned him out of $13.5 mil isn't desperate either.
I infer they were more focused on the sports car for the race and not for qualify. I wouldn't put much emphasis on this because if it's one article we Nascar fans know going on for Jeff Gordon, it's that he can and will be up front in no time!!
His troop usually is focused on the race set-up, not the qualify.

Gordon most certainly will not finish rear legs around 40th place, but he won't finish in the top 10 any. I'm thinking somewhere between 18th and 25th.
A mix up at the shop, he got "Vickers" setup and Vickers get his.
