How do you heel toe downshift?
Answers:
The idea aft doing this is to bring the revs up to match the helm speed when you downshift. As downshifts are generally going to be up while braking, you need to do this while braking, and congruent the revs can also become more important as you will be doing this at a point where on earth you don't really want to do anything to upset the car.
The pet name can be a little misleading, and stems rear to earlier coup¨¦ designs before the current pedal layout we adjectives know became standard. The essential process is that you brake, while keeping the brake down you then clutch in-blip the throttle-downshift-cluth out up to that time the revs fall, and later complete your braking and start the turn.
There are a few ways that you can go in the region of the acrobatics of using one foot for both the brake and throttle at the same time. If you are driving a existing race vehicle (ie, not a street based model), the pedals will be really close together and you can generally use partially of your foot on each, rolling wager on and forth at your ankle to control the pressue (being bless with a colossal foot, I can do this on most street cars as well). A good tip that I tend to use as an instructor at track events for ethnic group trying the more traditional manuever of using being on the brake and reaching over next to the toe for the throttle: rather than trying to over rotate your foot, cram to brake from beteween your arch and heel, and then press your toe over towards to top of the throttle (rather than the middle or bottom that most come across to aim for).
The manuever quickly become second nature... but if it is not, it's easiest to start by first of late getting used to blipping the throttle for downshifts. And once you are used to this, then try and incorporate the entire sequence.
? I've hear of using heel - toe for the gas and brake, but never for shifting. I'm assuming you question is surrounded by regards to a stock motor. They will sometimes shift w/o the clutch as well, but thier cars are set up for that. I wouldn't support doing a heel toe downshift. Sounds kinda dangerous.
Heel and toe is a standard technique for ANY form of auto race on a road course, not just stock cars. It's used to preserve the engine in the right power decoration during braking. Here's the wikipedia entry. Another good source is the book "Bob Bondurant on High Performance Driving".
Good answer Paul S. I would also recommend renting the video "Drive to Win". I'm thinking it be made in the rash 1980s...by Caroll Smith (also wrote a book). There is a good explaination of heel and toe technique contained by that video, as well as various other fundemental racing technique. Practice, practice, practice.

Who like nascar race?
Question:what is the point in the see 500 laps to see who win
Answers:
NASCAR is the only point for Sunday! Been a fan for years. You try to drive 500 miles at 200mph beside 42 other drivers when the temperature within the car is 130 and see how tough you are! It's noticeably a sport.
i love it, i fist got a demo years ago it be great. i loved going the wrong way down trhe track and bumping into the other cars.

down the race brings surrounded by other situations that might not come into play on a short race.approaching car downfall of any kind, driver anticlimax, track conditions change contained by a race so recurrently the team that win at the end, is not the squad that was the best at the start,so even nascar is a squad sport.
I love nascar when i need a powernap . I put it on watch the cars budge around and around and I'm sleeping.
Rednecks and drunks, because it's the only sport that they can infer. The point of it is so that it gives rednecks and drunks something else to do other overthrow the crap out of their wives.
I do, I do. It's all in the order of competition. You can take any mundane commotion that someone is going to find as boring as watching paint dry and inject competition and it's going to be entertaining. Anyone can drive 500 miles in a circle. Not everybody can do it next to the car on the border of spinning out at every turn with 42 other cars trying to do duplicate thing.
Well i close to to think of myself as a great driver who could knob a race sports car LOL but that's just an image ! Granted its not the most exciting form of motor racing but Nascar is tough on man and electrical device and its not just something like driving, there's nerves of steel, tactics and much more go into a race close to that !!.
i do just 2 see the crashes
I love NASCAR- THe point is to see how amny crashes near will be, and who will be the biggest whiner.
I thought that since my hubby got me into it. There's strategy involved, plus it's fun when the drivers seize mad at respectively other.
I DO! It's about the competition. And whoever think it's easy to do know nothing almost the sport. I'd like to see some of you NASCAR haters drive 200 mph! It involves greatly of skill, also.
Here, maybe if you read something like it, you'll ACTUALLY understand:

There is no other benign of racing. Look at adjectives the other racers trying to get into NASCAR. It can't be a short time ago the money. They have more than they know what to do beside as it is. The cars are bigger than the others and there are 43 of them adjectives trying to get into impossible to tell apart space at the same time.
I LOVE NASCAR! Its terribly competitive and exciting.
This form of sport is a competition. The race inside a race is the brand of vehicle, what wins on Sunday sell on Monday.
The drivers with within the race are going for the contest, they are also attempting to get better rides and sponsorship.
Then at hand is the advetising, these become 200 mph billboards.
Ant the fact I've watch racing since 1960 i soak up the sport.
I like adjectives kinds of motor sports especially GP Bikes but subsequent year i will not be missing one session of nascar because my favourite driver Juan Pablo Montoya is driving for Chip Ganassi
I love it and also realize that it may not be for everyone. But that pretty much go for any sport. You wouldn't catch me departed at a soccer game!
I LOVE NASCAR
GO JIMMIE 48
I love nascar! I never did till I met my husband but when we started going to race I was similar to WOW! this is great!! Its a lot of fun to return with into the politics of it and see who's going to screw who this week. Like at Talladaga a couple weeks ago ... Vickers hit his own team mate (Johnson) a moment ago to win a race and guess what EVERYONE hate him now. Then you enjoy Gordon who ALWAYS whines going on for what Dale Jr. did to him this week, when Gordon loses its Dale's fault. Nascar fan are TRUE!! Its not like football when everyone like the team that's ahead. Once you have a favorite driver that's it! It doesn't situation if he hasn't won a race within years that's your driver!!! Thats what I call a true devotee.
Yeah, it's a lot resembling a football game where on earth only the ultimate second matters. How annoying ...
