Why is NASCAR points so complicated and not simple resembling F1?

the iroc see is run in Firebird by pontiac the Dodge have not been used within a long time for that race
In the subsequent year they may be going back to Z's as Chevy will be making Camaro's once again!! Ford doesn't put together a car that can be used for IROC. My kindness is the Mustang is too small and light for that type of competition.
