lol.eventhough im not his admirer....but i think he deserved the title..rossi could hold got the title if it's not because of he stupid slump..im a honda supporter.lol, actually, im pretty much dani pedrosa supporter..so, going on for the champ.i dont rele care coz any nicky or rossi will win..
He is never be a real winner even though he got the title... Honda is the best Bike ever... Nicky is simply one lucky guy...

I'm very delighted about the outcome of the battle, but truthfully many other racers could own won as well.
At the origination of the season I was expecting Rossi to win the title once again and after head stale to master Formula 1, but after the first could races you could see that the #1 plate be up for grabs (even though Rossi doesn't use the #1 plate).
I be very cheerful for Nicky, he worked very rock-hard and he just have the season working for his advantage.
But within the end an American brought the title fight home, that hasn't happened surrounded by awhile, so I'm okay with it.

When IRL and Champ Car merge, can the IRL become as popular as NASCAR again?
Question:Back in the rash '90s, before the split, Indycar race (CART at the time) was much more popular than NASCAR. Can that arise again?

Yes it can bounce back if they merge again. Indy Car race is just as exciting as Nascar, I enjoy been to race from both series Nascar and IRL, they are just as exciting as the other. Merging also will bring hindmost the sponsors, especially to the crown jewel of race Indy 500. The reason the decline have been so great is the scarcity of races on the rota, if they merge I still wont expect a race every weekend but at smallest two a month except for May.
I say merge the manufacturer will get final into it, and the sponsors will also. If the F1 series leaves the states, I say give a road race doing a tour course at the 500. The popularity of the sport will again rise.

It can't be as popular as Nascar "again" because it never be. NASCAR is a redneck thing, and nearby are a buttload of rednecks in this country. Not so next to Indy-type cars. They're more of a European flavor.
As long as open rudder race cars are disallowed to collide with eachother, the American public will never heat up up to them the way they heat up up to NASCAR, which in my view barely qualify as entertainment
I would agree it was popular since they split. But if they were to merge it would gain popularity. But i dont contemplate it will be as popular as NASCAR for a very long time. Because its a dying sport since they split and sponsers and fan are pulling out every year. Most of the famous drivers are getting ancient or are leaving cuz theres no competition disappeared. If they dont change it put money on it may never bounce back.
The individual way a merged IRL and Champ Car series will become really popular is by field a grid dominated by American drivers, ones that are winning the majority of the race.

Prbably not, because there are more rednecks that approaching NASCAR, than IRL/CART. I don't think that stretch out wheeled race has ever enjoy the following that NASCAR has. The one and single big open wheel race is the Indy 500, and none of the other race have ever, or will ever enjoy the draw that one single race have.
