Question:am getting slightly depressed at not being able to talk about the weekends race with people other than my 3yr old daughter!
Answers:
I'm sorry, but I have not heard of any available NASCAR fanclubs for Austrailian fans. I live in the USA, so I'm afraid I can't help much. However, I would encourage you to teach your fellow Austrailian friends about NASCAR racing and get them interested in it. Then, maybe you all can start your own club!

A query for race who are Nascar fan and believe they know something something like motorsport...?
Question:I'm not saying that fan of stock cars are "rednecks", I have certainly no idea what that technique. But I have this dilemma. What is it that make you like stock cars and repugnance other motorsports, like Formula 1 for example?
What is it that you loathe about Formula 1? I enjoy been watching it for 10 years and I haven't see anything that you saw as wrong. And I know a lot give or take a few F1.
And how come any driver can be greater than someone who won a title 5 times, in 4 different team, in cars that could shoot you in any second? I don't draw from it.
Answers:
The fundamental answer to your question is that F1 certainly involves sport, and NASCAR is contrived.
Build a better car contained by F1? Good on you. Build a better car within NASCAR? Nope, we can't have that. NASCAR will find some instrument to penalize you, to make it "unprejudiced."
Can't get around the guy surrounded by front of you in F1? Try outbraking him. Try hounding him into a mistake. Try positive fuel while keeping pace near him and catch him on pit stops. Can't seize around the guy in front of you surrounded by NASCAR? Run over him. No penalty. In reality, NASCAR encourages it.
NASCAR fan are simpletons. They don't care something like technology, and they don't care around sport. They just want to see shiny, boisterous things go by adjectives blurry, and maybe the occasional fireball or barrell roll.
F1 fan like, economically, *racing*.
That should clear it up.
And if you think the subtle nuance of F1 are present in NASCAR, you must be hopelessly addicted to some astoundingly mind-altering drug.
I am a Nascar Fan,.I am not an redneck,I am a grandmother of 14.
I own watched formula 1 race to.But it scares me,they are going so speedily with really not that much to protect them.I believe Nascar does more to protect within drivers.
I'm not a redneck, I am African-American and a woman so you can throw the lil Nascar fans are solely rednecks theory out the skylight, burn & bury it!!
Anywho...what Nascar fans enjoy said that they hate F1? You cannot place adjectives Nascar fans surrounded by the same category. Just because some Nascar fan dislike F1, that does not mean that they speak for every single Nascar adherent. F1 doesn't get as much exposure here contained by the US as IRL and Nascar does so that plays into why F1 isn't liked as much by Americans.
Besides...seriously of Nascar fans do keep watch on other motorsports other than Nascar they lately prefer Nascar more! I myself have watch a couple of IRL races and a couple of F1 race.
Well I am not sure about those other "red" individuals but I love all cars and race. For me its the ideal of watching the cars...its the nouns of the engines.
My "interest" if you will say...are powerful noise to get my "blood" rushing.
Its exciting. I don't move about and watch contained by the stands to see who wins...what do I attention to detail...its all in the region of the vibration of the stands, the cheep beer and the perkiness of the crowd rushing thru you.
Because they're "stock cars" (like stock cars you can buy at the dealers). There's more excitement around local men, driving modified local cars, with no expand wheels. Yes, NASCAR be (and I mean was) a dodgy sport, and it lost it's biggest driver in 2001, Dale Earnhardt, but it is making leap and bounds to make race safer.
If it is a "redneck" sport, then every American, some Canadian, and Mexican is a redneck. It is growing contained by popularity fast.
F1 is a great form of race, but there isn't much exposure within the US to it. If you had more Americans contained by it with more coverage, F01 might whip off here, but until after, NASCAR is king.
The all mighty dollar rules the US, and a company will put it's term on a car getting the exposure. Liek I said, not satisfactory exposure to F1 to get finance from many US companies, so again NASCAR rules.
I don't approaching F-1 because it's not exciting. Wherever the cars qualify for the race is pretty much where on earth they will finish the race because in that is no passing.
Being a NASCAR enthusiast I read these questions from fan of other forms of motor sport.I watch othere forms and hold gone to other forms events.
I first saw a NASCAR race within 1960 on a 1/4 mile track I was hooked on race.
And since then I enjoy been to the 24 hours at Daytona,The Gator nation,Molsen GP in Canada,I watch the BAJA 1000 in the 70's as cut of an emergency team, heck I've even be to a monster truck jam and a moto cross evenr.I've see indoor midget races amd stood the ground at Indy.
But where on earth ever I go I still approaching my full body stock cars.
It is not which is better it is which form of racing the individual enjoy.
And a little reality is football was nearly not permitted in the untimely 20th century because there be more deaths during the games than any othe sport.
Yes ANY driver surrounded by any form of racing can be kill or seriously injured at any time.
I have a problem relating to drivers outside of Nascar, as I am a "redneck". F1 drivers and the approaching are a little too fancy or "big city" for a country boy, approaching myself.
Dale Earnhardt died not terribly long ago and he have won 7 titles, Richard Petty also won 7 titles.
Edward S: All of the points you just made for F1, apply equally to Nascar. Do a bit research, before you speak.
i aversion F1 it is gay and people that similar to it are mainly gay as capably
Hi Renaultfan
Just can't stand to look at arrogant buttholes like Schumacher. Now that he's retired, perchance there is a providence that he will be replaced with someone who have personality. If near were more Tony Canaan's, Castroneves, and Elliott Sadler's, possibly F1 would have a better hit and miss at attracting more Americans, Canadians, etc.
And why are guys like Montoya jump ship to head to Nascar?
It's simply more popular, that's adjectives.
In NASCAR, the racing on the track is much closer than we find surrounded by Formula 1. I have tried monitor Formula 1, but after about five lap it seems that the proclaim is just in the region of set.
I grew up around a short track and I guess I grew accustomed to stock cars. Therefore, I started following the higher series of NASCAR. No valid explanation, just my choice.
I resembling ALL motor sports NASCAR is my favorite. I think individuals live there favorite and simply defend it.
I am a NASCAR adherent and no redneck. F1 is very techniacal, I waste to watch this type of race that's follow the leader. Where ever they qualify is usually where on earth they finish.
One thing I do resembling is they put on rain tires and run contained by the rain.
I love both and IRL as ably... all three are race but all are differnt.
Keep watching Formula-1, where on earth most of the time the pole sitter is the race champ...
Anyways, to each his own.
Personal taste in sports is merely that: Personal
wilibeme23 do u have any perception what your talking around? F1 cars are extremely safe
I reckon you have a polite question; thing of fact I enjoy asked myself this question. Personally, I resembling both of them.
But, just contained by the last year I enjoy gotten hooked on Nascar. It is kind of similar to drinking coffee you watch one Sunday afternoon and after you just hold to watch again the subsequent weekend and pretty soon you give up other happenings so you can see who will win the next see.
Formula 1; is harder to get hooked on because; one the don't enjoy the marketing that makes you grain as if you really know the drivers, that they are a part of your household, so to speak. I think Danika Patrick come closest in a while to engender us want to watch, but presently she too seems to own lost that personal appeal.
Plus, they don't seem to televise the Fl race on a regular basis.
I don't monitor for the crashes especially, I watch for the ones who are running within the top ten and then are trying to win. In F1, the one who starts out surrounded by first will normally stay in that and no one really seem to try really hard to give a hiding them out. There just doesn't seem to be to be the hustle you see in Nascar.
If 6 years ago you would hold told me I would be a Nascar fan, I would enjoy laughed surrounded by your face. But, here I am caught and enjoy myself.
Granny
I started watching NASCAR 3 years ago becuase Kasey Kahne, a big name surrounded by racing (he have 6 wins this year-- more than any other driver) is from my home town and i go to school near him. Now that i have someone to 'root for' i simply LOVE watching...and now I know LOTS in the order of the sport.
F1 is not regularly televised on standard cable channel, for one. SPEED channel, possibly. They dont have tracks within tons of different states that garner as much hoopala as the Nascar ones do.
i tried watching formula 1 but i can't narrate the cars apart. And i hate the bearing they sound. They hold that sport bike sound. And the race are very short. I don't abhor formula 1 racing, i simply don't like it that much. And i am not a redneck by any finances, i hate rednecks to be honest next to you, but i love nascar. GO KENSETH!!
the racing section is ok. its the noise that they brand and most of the drivers are foreign. you can hardly follow what they say. plus it seem that they dont interview the drivers and go into alot of detail where on earth you can get to know the driver and the sport itself.
they are swift, they are dangerous. they are appropriate drivers.
i dont hate f1, newly dont watch it.
I am an avid motor sports supporter, NASCAR, F1, Boats of all typed. The greatest thrill is watching someone you are watching win the see. The thrill of competition and the winning of the see. Some people keep watch on for the wrecks, not a good function. Accidents can take a existence in an instant and it is not fun to keep watch on somebody die.
hang on tolerate me spit before i answer this(as i mark my crotch and fix my cowboy hat).....
rednecks?
what exactly is the definition of "a redneck"?
country boy i am.grew up in south texas, live within kentucky.
stock car race is pretty much a part of culture within these parts.
i do not hate F1 race.it is just boring to me.they might as very well just not see.qualifying is pretty much how they finish.no close race or side by side.most passes are done on pit road.
in attendance is not much of a market here contained by the states for F1.
I'm not saying that fan of F1are "elitist snobs", I have completely no idea what that funds. But I have this dilemma. What is it that make you like F1 and abhor other motorsports, like Nascar for example?
What is it that you loathe about Nascar? I own been watching it for 30 years and I haven't see anything that you saw as wrong. And I know a lot in the order of Nascar
On this thread, I've seen FAR FAR more uninformed HATRED thrown toward Nascar than the other opening around. I love all motorsports (except conceivably truck & tractor pulls).
Actually I like any form of race. :)
Open wheel race is not a watchable sport. Passing is extremely difficult, and quite unusual.
If you close to sitting in the stands at a nascrap see, watching gap toothed, mullet head trailer trash with a '3' or a '8' tatoo on his backbone, then by adjectives means walk watch the idiots.(the fan are idiots, not all the drivers are).NASCAR fan are not race fans-they're NASCAR fan.A full set of teeth is more RARE than a high academy diploma at a nascar race.
GO JIMMIE JOHNSON !!!
i don't aversion it. it's just that i never really sit down and watch one. if i would keep watch on one i might like it. i see the movie driven with them and didnt deduce they were impossible cars. but that was in recent times a movie
This goes to dutch...
I love NASCAR. I enjoy all of my teeth, other styled hair and I am working on my doctorate and master's and already hold two undergraduate degrees. Don't get assumptions about drivers, but more importantly roughly speaking the fans as you own no clue as to what you are talking in the region of. You don't know me and I don't know you. The assumptions you made just in a minute tells me that I don't want to any.
Now to answer the real sound out: I have loved NASCAR for years immediately. I have tried to keep under surveillance F1, but like someone else have stated, it gets boring after roughly speaking the first five laps. There doesn't come across to be much competition. Whoever wins the pole might as okay be handed the win and trophy the tremendously same day.
it's genuine simple, F1 is all in the order of the car, NASCAR is adjectives about the individuals. keep your million dollar cars, nextel cup cars are purposely low tech to put the see in the hand of the driver and pit crew, the way race is supposed to be. you could train a monkey to drive one of those electronic marvels of F1 next to their traction control(cheating boxes), driving an ill handling stock saloon takes far more skill, that's why NASCAR drivers are far superior to those overrated F1 drivers. michael shumaker would be lost within the bumper to bumper, beating and bang, and yes, far more exciting brand of racing within NASCAR. in america, we believe that ratification, or overtaking as you europeans call it should be a division of racing, how can you stand to see follow the leader race with no endorsement or lead change? boring with a property B.
now let's confer about the pit crews. contained by F1 again, through technology, you let the machines do adjectives the work. a jack that lifts the in one piece car up at once, one big hub on the wheel, electronic fuel pumps. just approaching with the drivers, the pit crew member need deeply little skill. in NASCAR, the pit crew change 4 tires, using one hydrolic jack, lifting one side of the car up at a time, add 22 gallons of fuel, the old fashioned opening, with big, bulky, cloying gas cans, and make adjustments to the coup¨¦ such as pulling a spring rubber out of a spring underneath the car, adjectives in 13-15 second. an eye popping, amazing feat that these guys brand look routine because they are great atheletes.
so there you hold it. that's why we love NASCAR and don't follow F1(we don't hate it, we merely have no interest surrounded by it). in america, our sports heros are relatives, not machines. in F1 it's adjectives about the cars. contained by NASCAR, it's all in the order of the people who engender them go.
