There is a small dirt race track about 15 to 20 miles north of Nashville, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it right now. Sorry.
and last but not least, just for fun, there's Checker Flag Lightning NASCAR speedway. It's a store with networked racing simulators. You jump into a mocked up race car on hydraulics, with a big view screen outside the front window, and you race about 15 others. Kinda neat. They also have a small gift shop as well. It's worth the trip just to go to Opry Mills mall. The largest mall in the Nashville area:

There used to be a NASCAR cafe in downtown Nashville, but I think that has closed up shop. I don't know if it opened in the suburbs or not.

Sebastien Bourdaus is by far the best driver contained by the Champ Car series and I'm not sure there is a material challenger standing between him and a fourth successive driving title.

Yes, Sebastian has a great shot at leading the OWRS / CHAMP / CART championship. First, everyone else have gone to NASCAR. Second, no one is interested surrounded by taking him to F1. Third, Paul Tracy is well historic his prime (and is going NASCAR if he can). By default, unless at hand is some rookie phenom, he'll win his 4th.
Bourdais will certainly be within the hunt for the championship, but it's passageway too early to mitt him the Vanderbilt Cup just nonetheless.
