Where can i road see my 2001 Trans am ?

Question:looking to do some road racing I live surrounded by N.Y. right now but will be
moving to airzona soon any suggestions ?
Answers:

When you move out to Arizona you can see it anywhere outside of the cities.
Join the SCCA...I'm sure they hold races at Phoenix International Raceway. If still contained by NY you could run Watkins Glen.
Ditto on joining the SCCA.

There are also various solo events (running around cones surrounded by a parking lot) put on by car clubs, etc that would be fun as powerfully. If you find a sports car / tuner shop, they'll obtain you plugged in.
Scca runs events at pir and firebird raceway. near are a couple of other groups out here too.
Check out NASA - National Auto Sport Association. They should have exactly what you are looking for. The SCCA is also worth a look.

Audi R8 or a used ferrari 355?

Answers:

audir8
I am guessing thatyou are referring to the Audi R8 that is coming out subsequent this year and not the race sports car they introduced in the unpunctually 90s. And as the question is also a short time unspecific, I'll guess that you are looking for a purchase recommendation of one or the other?

It's a bit of a strange two to choose from. A used F355 will probably run within the $70-80k range, while the Audi R8 is expected to run almost $140k. So on one hand you own the issue questioning if the R8 is twice as perfect as the F355? Pricewise, a better comparision would be a new Ferrari F430.

The Audi R8 looks close to a great car, and the diesel engine will of course make it a monster next to torque. For me though, my biggest question would be how the sports car feels when driving, and even near the sports oriented Audis I've other thought they felt rough and lacking within driver feedback. The R8 may well amend this, but having no hit and miss to actually drive a motor that is not available all the same, I have to look at experience near other cars from the make. And the exact converse is true of the Ferraris, all examples of the marque I've driven enjoy been exceptional and lately what I would expect (F355 included).

Based on that, and the $60-70k in funds, I'd go next to the F355... though I certainly might perceive differently after the R8 is actually available.
Uh the r8, sup it up close to in NFS carbon and it would be sick
Audi R8. I'd be for a time nervous in the region of wrecking the Ferarri.

Question:I have a rebuild Lotus Cortina 1558cc engine on L1 cams, set for a dry sump (remote inline oil filter) which be rebuilt some 15 years ago and never run. Was originally from a Cortina Lotus.
Does anyone know the advantage of this?
Not sure of valve sizes/type of pistons/crank etc but be rebuilt for see use to, I believe, a high standard so would adjectives be named items. Was for assemble use. Plus have the equivalent twin 40 webers.
Answers:

About 50 pence a pound at the scrap merchant.
Not sure, but you might be able to look it up surrounded by Glass' Guide. google it and the webpage comes up. You can check other online car valuers too, but I reckon they charge.
not much but it might interest someone looking for a new grass mower engine
wel i reckon over a grand. but the webers alone are to some extent valueable and quite sought after by 1600E owners.
