Auto Racing Questions and Answers

What engine is Toyota using surrounded by the Nextel Cup series?

Question:I kind of lost interest contained by NASCAR when they began messing beside the bodies and making all cars fit alike templates. And I'm sure when they shift to this "world car" thing I will lose interest totally. I'm a "run what ya brung" type of guy. Let the coup¨¦ makers design the cars and the best man win. That being said...I didn't judge Toyota would use something as antiquated as a push rod V-8 since it's a pretty high tech company. I watch the Daytona 500 and heard the announcer mention that one squad was using Hendrick motors. I thought Hendrick just did Chevy motors. I also thought the car motor have to match the vehicle make...i.e. Ford motor within a Ford...Chevy motor in a Chevy...etc. So what give? What make of engine are the Toyotas running?
Answers:

They use a Toyota base engine. The only item you can buy is the block. everything else is custom. I too agree that the one template thing sucks. Run anything manufacturer you chose. Buy your cars from a dealership and build your saloon.
Toyota is manufacturing an 8 cylinder engine. The plant is surrounded by Huntsville,Alabama.

What'll occur first for Toyota?

Question:A Toyota win on Nascar Cup or Formula One?
Answers:

hey will probably have to hang around until the next Nascar. don't presume they will have a win at Formula one:)
I am going beside Formula 1, but I know Nascar won't be that far behind. Brian finished within the top 15 today and was awesome.
The "NASCAR" time queue for Toyota would be;
1-Get a car(done)
2-Quailify on speed(done)
3-Top 10 finish(done)
4-Top 5 finish
5-Win
So I feel they will carry a NASCAR win first.
With Formula One being huge open this year, they own a great shot with Ralf and Jarno maintain some continuity, they have an excellent arbitrary to win a race this year. I don't anticipate the NASCAR Toyota team winning this year, as the combination of saloon, team and driver is not all the same there. They will requirement to get a difficult level of driver especially. Has beens similar to Mikey W, and DJ, along with probably never will be's Reutimann, Blaney, Mayfield, Vickers, and Allmendinger are not going to achieve it done any time soon. The car might be better than it shows even presently.
nascar, nascar has a more height playing field, surrounded by f1 Honda has be there much longer than Toyota and they are still struggling, so i don't see toyota making much gain, especially whth their driver line up
I hope Toyota get out on the track and all in that cars explode!
Nascar will come first. Nascar impounds cars from respectively mfg after selected race. They test the engines on a dyno and the bodies within a wind tunnel. If one mfg is down on power or their bodies own a disadvantage over time Nascar makes allowances surrounded by the rules to even the playing field. That is why you never see one brand completely dominate. If Toyota struggles and is at the rear on bodies or power Nascar will give them allowances so they are guaranteed to win at some point.
Nascar Cup
Toyota started within F-1 in 2002 one and the same way it did contained by NASCAR. Tried to buy the best team and best drivers and still they cant do a damn article in F-1. As far as NASCAR the best that Toyota can do is transport turn 4 at top speed and take a sharp right mitt turn. A Toyota photo finish!!!!
I think the win contained by Formula One has already happen. Not quite sure. Check on the Formual One Circuit
uh,,,,the first piece that happened,,and it happen this year already,, was,, they get caught cheating,,just to net a race,,,pitiful method to start,,,Toyota should release mikey,,,and try to clean this mess up physical quickly,,up to that time the taste surrounded by their mouths get nastier,,and nastier

It's tough to catch started in race. If you can't afford to do it on your own, you better have some connections next to some local area businesses who want to spend money hype through racing.

As for the Grand Rapids, MI nouns, the first thing that leap to mind is Johnny Benson's track in Marne, MI - Berlin Raceway. http://www.berlinraceway.com
