Is it true a Nissan Skyline is illegle surrounded by almost every state or every state surrounded by the United States?
Answers:
The Nissan Skyline has never be officially import to the US, despite demand. Nissan have kept the Skyline for the Japan market, although it's probably possible to introduction one and have it converted to join the US federal safety and emission standards, but that's a difficult and expensive process. An Infiniti G35 is as close to the Skyline as we have for presently.
Nissan will be importing the current generation Skyline GT-R supercar to the US for the 2008 model year. It's expected to compete directly beside the Porsche 911 Turbo, but cost about 30% smaller amount at about $ 70K.
No. They are sold by Infiniti, Nissan's North American luxury division, rebranded as the “Infiniti G35.”
Yeah the japanese copy isn't legal here contained by the states. Even if you could get one out of japan (its a heritage point to them) you'd have to pretty much dump everything that make them Skylines in the Pacific in the past you can get it ancient customs and DOT to make them permissible here. BUT i have hear of these two DR's in Cali that enjoy done just that. They have to strip out the RB's of pretty much everything but they did manage to still come out boxing next to around 450 hp. So its possible but you'd have to spay them. And yeah the G35 is the "American" version. So technically they are endorsed here but they blow *** so they don't count. The japanese versions of the skyline and the silvia (240 sx) are so much better next the american counterparts.
