Which one is better? Metal bumpers or fiberglass bumpers?
Question:My husband and I have this argument. He think that metal bumpers are much better than the regular fiberglass bumpers. I think that fiberglass bumpers can hold your attention more shock. Neither one of us knows profoundly of cars.. .so, someone help us to settle the argument, please.

This is a no-brainer. While both are intended to withstand collision one will withstand even a very slight bump and other won't. By this I penny-pinching, if I back into something beside my '78 Town Car the chrome over steel bumper won't be marked, but if I rear into the same entry with my '01 Sebring the bumper paint will gash, possibly chip and the fibreglass facia itself might crack. So much for the bumper that'll withstand a five mile per hour hit. And, the fellow who thinks that every bumper is steel, but have a plastic facia should look at one of them. He might be surprised to see honey-combed plastic where he think the steel would be.
Fiberglass is lighter and will repel those small dents and dings. Metal bumpers can be easily repaired by bang out dents and will protect the vehicle better in an catastrophe.

Actually any sports car with a fiberglass bumper or plastic bumper have a metal bumper behind it. the fiberglass bumper and plastic bumpers are of late bumper covers. Every car have a metal bumper some have them showing and some don't
It adjectives depends on wut you want to do with the saloon, if you r gunna race it, obtain the fiberglass. if ur gunna just drive it to work and support, get the metal.

I like stock sports car racing (NASCAR) and some drag race. I just close to the cars and fast they can walk.
Stock car race is my favorite. Of course, the best series for that is NASCAR, which I am a huge enthusiast. The competition is so close and the races are usually more exciting.
