How do I become a formula one racer?

You would be very lucky beside no money.
Many drivers, including Micheal Schumacher, start in karts, progressing to single seaters such as Formula 3 of formula Ford. The cream that gain to race F1.
You will own to work extremely hard and own a bit of luck along the way.

Well, if you don't know anything about how cars work, consequently you can pretty much count yourself out. To be a truly fast driver, you enjoy to know what is going on with the coup¨¦, you have to know what's working, what isn't working, and what to do to get the car faster. Also, if you're over the age of more or less 10 and you're not already racing karts or something to that effect, you're already at a disadvantage. You also hold to understand that basically because you think you can drive cars prompt, that doesn't mean that you in actuality can. Driving an F1 car take a whole different set of skills than driving a street saloon. Unfortunately, being American is also a huge disadvantage. American drivers occasionally succeed in the modern world of F1. Scott Speed made it, but he's not within a top tier team, and he also have lived and trained in Austria for a few years. Basically, you've got a one contained by a million shot at it, probably less. You'd probably enjoy a better shot at a series like Champ Car or IRL.
I doubt that you can become an F1 racer, largely because almost every F1 driver is discovered, he doesn't chase after the dream. Plus, there is an vast difference between driving a Ferrari street car in haste on the Autobahn and driving a Ferrari F1 car through the tight streets of Monaco.
you cant. And i doubt you can drive cars vigorous. You need to start race karts around age 4-5. You need money. There is no hope. The individual pro series you probably could hope for by starting at a racing conservatory and working your way up is nascar. Nascar does not pocket much talent. The best driver in nascar couldnt even come close to competing next to the worst in F1.
If you are smaller number than 15 age you can become an f1 driver. For that you need popularity, status in your conservatory. Narain Karthekayan was previously in my institution and he was a prefect. With popularity money will come automaticaly through sponsors.
I would agree near most of the comments above. I hate to read aloud it, but your chances are extremely slim. Most F1 drivers work extremely firm and have are required to bear rigorous physical training. There used to be an exmember of the McLaren team on the TV surrounded by New Zealand, and he said it is one of the most physically demanding sports in the adjectives world.
My advise is to capture involved in local race events and work your way up from at hand. You can't expect a company to put you behind the helm of a car worth $100M's if you haven't get a whole lot of credentials to vertebrae up their trust.
Also, don't forget, driving fast doesn't engineer you a great driver. Driving fast lately proves one thing: you know how to use the accelerator. Parking a coup¨¦ properly takes more skill than driving prompt. Not having accident is the first sign of a good driver.

OK ! I have read the answers ! But let assume for a moment that its a Hypothetical question.
The first step:
Identify a local Karting track, start paying money and put a couple of thousand lap. Every good kart track have a timing mechanism. Compare your nouns times with that of the employed driver. If you are atleast a partly a scond fast over a nouns which will typically between .9 to 1.3 miles, you have two option
1. Buy your own kart and start lapping faster.
2. Learn how to set up your Kart next to regards your driving style. Mind you , you enjoy to advise your mecahnics to set up the Kart as per your driving style. For instance if you are promptly on the straight but have trouble turning surrounded by , ask for a high downforce setting, and vice versa.
After you put a few months and you consider you have crushed the track's lap times comfortably , start participating contained by local kart events.
If you win a few of them, than enroll for the kart championship as a privateer. If u do win at hand, than invest in going to U.K and combine a racing arts school. There are a number of them and it will cost you a packet.
If you are any biddable, than they will start entering you into local events.
