F1: 0 to 60 mph(100 kph) in smaller number than 3 seconds
400 meters: probably around 7 second
Absolute top speed: 415 kph, set last year by a modified BAR Honda 007 at Bonneville Salt Flats.
max is probably 200-250? perchance a bit higher
Fast satisfactory the average person will crap his pant when the corner comes up.
and i only drove a pro stock on 5/8 mile track 110+into the corner
The dictation for 1/4 mile drag race is a mind blowing 4.42 second at a speed of 333.43 M.P.H..Called Top Fuel Dragsters, they launch from a dead start, and make 100 M.P.H.in smaller quantity than one second! Something one must see in thier lifetime almost certainly. Just don't blink your eyes!
depends on the kind of engine and how much horse power they put out and if the body of the motor can handle adjectives of the horse without breaking. Street cars own restricter plates in them that restrict nouns flow and minimize horse power so the car can simply go up to around 100 some times more (that's for street cars) But beside the $ the limits are almost non existent.
Who do you devise will be the 2006 world victor contained by Formula 1?
Answers:
fernando alonso, and i'll give any1 who agrees w/ me thumbs up!!!
I have an idea that and I hope that it will be a race til the closing between Schumi and Alonso, that would take me backbone in the times of Prost and Senna when the contest was determined at the finishing race two years contained by a row.
If I have to pick next I choose Ferrari hence Schumacher.
Shoe maker.
Kimi Raikonnen.
michael schumacher.
My pick is, for sure, Fernando Alonso, because the certainty that he and the team know that the FIA IS AGAINST THEM AND IS TRYING TO IMPEDE THEM have just made him a more determined man. Ad he still have the upper hand contained by the WDC, AND the next see is full of misfortunes for MS. He finished 12th there contained by the best car of 2004! And his teammate won contained by the same sports car!
Schumacher is going to cry his eyes out in Brazil, while the champagne will flow surrounded by France and Spain.
SCHUMI!!
It would be great to see Schumacher retire on a high minute. Now being one and only two points behind, he have a great chance, and I guess he'll probably do it.
Ferrari have merely done a great deal of conducting tests, prior to the last three fly-away race, and I reckon they will have the coupé for the job.
Schumacher can switch the pressure better than Alonso, so I would say he have the best chance.
I'm contained by China, and looking forward to this weekend
The coin is in the heavens.
I go for Schumi/Ferrari ‘cause he deserves to retire as Champion; next to the hopes that we can see a championship see as in the times when it be decided within the last nouns of the las trace of the three left.
So, as far as I see it Shangai is a mind blowing see because there is no statistics, due to the short history of the track. Being Susuka one of Schumi almost other leadership and Interlagos a nice to Alonso track it comes put money on to Shangai, the one that wins Shangai can come up beside the championship.

F1 gearboxes are semi-automatic 7+1 speed gearboxes controlled by paddle shifters. That's 7-speed for forward motion and a reverse gear. But its use is restricted by the rules to unmistaken situations and to certain parts of the track.

They own to have one, it's within the rules. In the old days team used to just put one within but never thought to check if it worked or not...I remember Niki Lauda saying how he be surprised once when he tried to get reverse after a spin and it worked...

Yes they do... one time Fisichella or someone else go tooo far forward on their start position and then go back...i didn't know they have a reverse gear until i saw it ...
Derr yes...have you ever watch a race??
I focus Michael tried to put his gear in reverse after he infamously "parked" his saloon at Rascasse in Monaco. Then his engine stalled. Did he really? I don't know. Was it really a driver error? Yes, say the man himself.
yap
7 + 1 reverse gear
YA .. I SAW KIMI RAIKKONON REVERSE TO GO BACK 2 D STARTIN POSITION IN INDIAPOLIS 2004..ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT USED MUCH IT IS COMPULSORY 2 HAVE A REVERSE GEAR...
Why is it call "stock vehicle racing" when in that is zilch stock nearly the cars?
Question:I mean, they hold to be modified to be safe and top out at 90 MPH+.
Answers:
Well, when race started in the mountains of Tennessee, thats adjectives they had be stock cars. They were not made to see, they were ordinary cars. Once they started racing on the beach in Daytona, again it be normal cars that be in stock and not cars made for race. Now since they look sort of like ordinary cars and are named after regular cars
They used to be stock.
You are correct roughly the current state of "stock car" racing. There is nil stock about a stock sports car. However, it was not so within the beginning. The rash racers brought what they had and hoped it be enough. They be the same cars you could buy past its sell-by date of the showroom floor. However, it is now much bigger and much more commercialized.
they are unbelievably heavy compared to start on wheeled cars and most other vehicle racing
read this stuff, instruction is good.
i know. i assume NASCAR should go backbone to the 'strictly stock' rule!
i think president mike helton should hold his *** kicked by some real big guy resembling bill goldberg
Bill France started NASCAR to be stock. Even the first win was contraversial because of cheating
the residence "stock car"changed over the years from cars you could actually buy stale the show room floor to the present..stock car immediately refers toall the similar features of the cars.mostly the body and name..also stock sports car refers to the parts on the car..adjectives of the parts are availble to the general public
When NASCAR first started, they be stock cars.
GO #8 & #6!!
all the cars on the track are supposed to be stock as compared to respectively other.
Back when NASCAR got started they brought their souped up street cars out to see them. Therefore, the name get put in. I agree that todays cars are not street model stock anymore but they own kept the name and the tradition.
