Why do coup¨¦ race run counter clockwise?

Answers:

Safety,to keep the driver away from the wall.In Aus we go clockwise, because our steering wheel are on the right.
because they just do
because it harder to hold on to it under control
because the right blinker didnt work
Because thats the side the driver is on.Its to resemble driving down a regular driver or street.
Its the same method as the toilet bowl flushes - its the way of the universe
Because the drivers side is on the not here side. If they hit the wall they are safer.
so that they could make not here hand turns (easier to make)
So they don't find lost.
PS Drag racers are even less intellegent.
because surrounded by an accident, the right side, or passenger side of the sports car is most likely to hit the wall. the most chancy crash in race is a driver side impact on the wall. there's nothing at hand between the driver and the wall to crumple and absorb the enegy of the crash.
In the matured days, before the advent of definite racetracks, a lot of automobile race were held on horse race tracks. I.E. (dover downs hosted many motor races as economically as being a horse race track). The horses travelled counterclockwise and it was solely natural that automobile race traveled the same direction. Contrary to popular inference, most racecars in the untimely years lacked a passenger side except when the saloon had an on-board mechanic. Most racecars from that era be of the midget and sprint car collection where the driver sit in the middle of the sports car and would be as close to the wall from either side of the vehicle.
so that the drivers don't faces the sun.
because if they didnt someone would be stupid ample to make a right
Not adjectives racing is done counter-clockwise. In Formula 1, for example, out of the 18 tracks used, singular 3 or 4 go counter-clockwise; plus the Indianapolis track, which includes quantity of the speedway, is run clockwise.
Only in America do they do that. In the rest of the world, they progress according to how the track designer intended the course to run, which is usually clockwise.

The only apology I've heard for the counter-clockwise race in America is to simply not do what the rest of the world does.

That's it. Rather silly if you ask me.
I don't know. Different sports race run counter clockwise also -
Horse racing
1/4 mile track (runners), hurdles, relay
Speed skating
Motorcycle - dirt track, speedway, MX, road see (like on Daytona speedway).
Roller Ball - roller skaters going around a track
Ovals run "counter clockwise", so I assume that's what you mean. Why do they do that? Sometimes it's the geography of the track that be built on (eg. Imola). In the case of Americans, what do you expect? They're so right-wing they can singular turn left on track to compensate.

It make more sense to have race run clockwise. They accelerator is on the right, so the left foot is the "comatose man" foot. When you turn right, the g-forces push the driver to the left and the disappeared leg can be used to brace the driver's body weight.

Turning vanished, high g-forces put the body counterweight into the driver's thigh (which can affect his use of the pedals) or into his abdomen (affecting his breathing). Clockwise road courses are marginally safer.

.
I don't know! Ask Richard Petty!!!
Look at where on earth the steering wheel is, and look at where on earth the wall is. If that doesn't explain it enough, I'm sorry that it's such a compluicated topic.

ANd within other countries where the steering reins is on the opposite side, guess what, they see clockwise. See a pattern?
Cause they want to.
because that's want they do and if you guess that you can do any better , than go fo it.sorry if i made any one batty.

Who will win the Formula One surrounded by Australia Grand Frix subsequent week?

Answers:

massa
With all the change cars and drivers, it would be very tough to say but the top three from second year have a biddable chance because they are adjectives in angelic cars.
alonso
Thats a very difficult one.
ThE Australian GP, will be equally in proportion,as all the team are equal. fast cars own slow drivers whereas slow cars have faster drivers.
Alonso have dominated the European part of trialling, while Massa has dominated the Asian quantity. The Ferrari looks very swift, but the Mclaren cannot be left out.
Alonso is a great driver, and he will unequivocally go flat out contained by his MP4-22, while RaikkoneN and massa will do the same contained by their F2007's.

I am predicting a Massa-Alonso-Raikkonen podium in any lay down, unless there are some DNF's
Massa for sure!!
I'd close to to see Fernando Alonso win it.

Thanx!
I'm going there subsequent week and I'm so excited that I'm not particularly bothered just about who will win. Just being in attendance and soaking up the atmosphere will be great.
Ticket. Check. Camera. Check. Binoculars. Check. Hotel booking. Check. Credit card. Urrrgghh..
Go Ferrari!!
i think kimi Raikkonen will wipe the floor next to everyone else
If his car holds together, I conjecture Alonso will win. Really because Melbourne suits his driving style a lot more than anybody else. If you enjoy a look at the corner sequences in Melbourne near are four corner sequences that are essentially the same andperfectly suited to his big entry speed style. I think he will do totally well this weekend. I'm going as very well and I can't wait. I obtain to Melbourne on Thursday. CANT WAIT!!!!
Hmmm, Massa? Alonso? Raikonnen? Maybe one of those, I'd personaaly go for Massa; He know his team of Engineers better than the others, so should be capable of get a righteous set up quicker than the others. He's got a hurriedly car and have proven he can win.

What I'd really love to see, is Lewis Hamilton on the podium on his F1 debut. I'd love to know what my odds would be at the bookies for that one.
Sutil
Kimi Raikkonen
Felipe Massa, he's settled at Ferrari and be shaping up to be a fantastic driver. The only one of the top drivers to hold had stability this year. Championship?? Who know...
Massa Without a Doubt
Raikkonen
Hamilton
Massa
Button
1st- massa
2nd- button
3rd- kubica
4th-hamilton
5th-raikkonen
i would like it if Button could win. but it is frozen to tell as i haven't see the poerformance or reliability of the all the cars
masa iS teh RockE STar!
i infer the fast and furious ICEMAN will take hold of it.
he is the best driver in f1 very soon a days, the combination of Ferrari and bridge stone will give him the title too.
i conjecture it will be between alonso and massa.
ur all wrong, lewis hamilton will win even tho its his 1st f1 gp...top brit for this season.come on lewis
I would love to see Lewis Hamilton win, but he wont!!

probably alonso or massa.

Would you admiration the 1988 and 1989 Formula 1 season as the most exxciting ever surrounded by formula 1?

Question:Because of the rivalry between Prost and Senna.
Answers:

1974 and 1976 are a couple of my favourite years and are among the most exciting within Formula One, even better than `88 and `89.
In 1974 Emerson Fittipaldi won the driving title by three points from Clay Ragazzoni and the field included name like Jody Scheckter, Niki Lauda, Ronnie Peterson, Carlos Reutemann, Denny Hulme, James Hunt, Patrick Depailler and Jackie Ickx.
In 1976, Hunt won by a single point from Lauda as a result of Lauda pulling out of the season finale, the Japanese Grand Prix at the Mont Fuji Circuit after two lap because he considered the conditions too dangerous.
Mario Andretti won the see, but Hunt's third place finish was righteous enough to clinch the title. That be exciting stuff.
Aloha from Down Unda!

Sorry, that season we were moving from Makiki to Waikiki at a zillion miles anhour. Ezy But I didn't know F1 consequently, either...didn't own a computer except the one within the TownCar in Hawa!!!!!

THIS SEASON IS the most exxcitin sumna ya wanna!

=8o)
GO !
I deem really 2006 is the most exiting. Today we have a 7 time victor (Shumacher) vs a 1 time Champion ( Alonso) with a difference of a few points. All top team are having their cars within good shape and you see presently all team with times incredibly close to each other surrounded by each see.
nope - go vertebrae to the late 70s impulsive 80s for the most exciting - drivers still driving by the seat of their pant - cars were in recent times starting out with ground effects, turbos, NO COMPUTERS - only real race - drop Schuey into one of those cars and see how shitty and chicken sh*t he would have be - different era different times but just straight race
I'd also put the 1990 season besides these two, because throughout these three seasons the rivalry between the two have been at its crest. In 1989 and 1990 they decided the title by ram each other rotten the road; 1988 was not as exciting, because the two could hold won every single race, if it hadn't be for a crash between Jean-Louis Schlesser and Senna at Monza which led to a Ferrari 1-2.

This season is also totally exciting, although I sincerely hope that the man that is surrounded by front in the WDC stays in that.

P.S. The rivalry between Senna and Prost ended surrounded by peace in Australia, contained by 1993, Prost's last see and Senna's last win.
I found 1998 to be the most exciting because near were *five* drivers beside legitimate shots at anyone the champion near four races to walk. There had not be that many title contenders contained by one year since 1982.

From the 1980s, I preferred the Piquet/Mansell battles. While they loathed each other almost as much as Prost and Senna, it never get nasty nor did they verbs stunts like Prost did at Suzuka.

.
Yup. Senna be better.
