Auto Racing Questions and Answers

Have you be to an F1 see?

Question:I'm stuck in Australia (only be to Melbourne). I would love to go to Monaco. Tell us almost the tracks you've been to. Your favourites and not-so-favourites?
Answers:

I've be to lots of Formula One races and to heaps of the tracks several times. Some are no longer on the F1 calendar.
Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donington, Paul Ricard, Spa- Francorchamps, Zandvoort, Barcelona, Jerez, Estoril, Nürburgring, Monza, Imola, Monaco, Budapest, Mosport, Montreal, Watkins Glen, Detroit, Phoenix, Mexico City, Jacarapagua (Brazil), Adelaide, Kyalami.
Favourites: Brands Hatch, Spa-Francorchamps, Estoril, Adelaide.
Least favourite: Kyalami (I be mugged in South Africa - surrounded by Johannesburg and away from the circuit).
Sadly no, but my brothers used to go to race a lot and positively loved it. I did drive around Mount Panorama once!
Yes been to several. The Long Beach Grand Prix street see is only roughly speaking 10 miles away. The most memorable be certainly Mario Andretti Winning beside Team Lotus on his way to becoming World Champion.
its funny that i live within toronto, canada and have never be to an F1 race. As you may know, over the summer, in that is a grand prix here. I've other wanted to move about, but my parents and family arent really into formula one approaching me, except for my brother who kind of like it
i have be to f1 race once. i walk to sepang, malaysia in 2003. the great article is i witnessed the first ever win for kimi raikkonen.
I have be to one...Indianapolis, this summer :)))
I go to Indianapolis (US GP) every year and I outstandingly recommend it as a fantastic venue. I've been to the Canada GP contained by Montreal twice. But that one is a royal pain to catch in and out of - it's on an island near limited access.
I drove around the Monaco circuit several times as I be there nearly a week before the see, and the streets were adjectives set up for race morning. But alas, I didn't get to attend the see itself. It's a tight track though, as I drove around it I really marvelled at how the F1 guys could ever overtake in that.
Been to Monaco, A1 Ring, Magny Cours, Silverstone, Spa, Monza, Brands Hatch (old days), Nurburg Ring (old days).

Sat at Monaco on the last corner, get covered in gearstick rubber, grime, stink of xylene, geabox oil, etc. Only 3 metres from the cars. It be great.
i dnt hv money mate so i cnt go thr
I live within Eastern Europe and so far I haven't been competent to go to a see. But I expect to go to Hungaroring for the 2007 see.
no
yes Ive been to silverstone twice and i without doubt loved it it was amazing + if you win a weekend ticket there are so plentiful other motorsports on like GP2.but i support you to wear ear mufflers as the cars are extremely loud. and if you go to silverstone for any motorsport the best place to sit is down the prevalent straight towards the final corners. loads of action amazing.
Me too, I hold only be to Melbourne in 2003.
Three.

The first be Watkins Glen, 1964. Graham Hill beat John Surtees. Clark, Gurney, McLaren, and Brabham broke. Ritchy Ginther drove a 16 cylinder Honda that scream to 4th. My friends and I were wandering around past the race and found ourselves surrounded by the pits. Things were rather more relaxed back later.

Next was Phoenix, 1990. I be seated at the critical curves and saw this right in front of me (Senna won):

"Senna slipped inside Alesi on knees 34, but he was shocked when the Tyrrell held the outside file on the exit and took the inside on the next turn! At matching point, one lap subsequently, Senna pounced again, this time making sure he had the proper row through the short straight to the next turn to hold his unknown position."

Attendance was 15,000 which is why the see at Phoenix didn't last.

The end was Monza, 2000. The see was boring, Schumacher fluff up Hakinnnen, no one else be close. The cars sounded neat as they go by at close to 200 mph and many rpm. Unfortunately a marshall (Paolo Ghislimberti) be struck by a wheel from an twist of fate and died. I didn't know that at the time. I had purchased (for profoundly of money) a ticket right across the pits and was disappointed that the team erected barriers so you couldn't see the pit stops. It be fun being near the Italian fans. After the see I joined the traditional barmy rush onto the track. I then walk halfway around the track, going underneath the behind the times banking. Very cool.

Best see? Phoenix, although the only flashy dealing is what was detailed above. The issue be in doubt for much of the see. Best overall experience? Monza, for many reason. It's a carnival in an actual park and population are having a great time.

Favorite see seen, adjectives time? A Trans-Am in Canada, circa 1970. Mark Donahue and Roger Penske hammer some very correct teams contained by Camaros and Mustangs with an American Motors Javelin. They did it next to fantastic car preparation, the best pit stops and strategy and, above adjectives else, genius driving skills that took my breath away, contained by an obviously inferior vehicle.
monoco is the best race location of adjectives time i have gone the concluding three years, it is so much better the daytona in febuary.

What is mass damper contained by Formula one saloon?

Answers:

It is an undamped weight ( around 2 kilos per wheel) i.e. designed to counter the tyre bounce that you see on a modern GP car when, for example, it rides the kerbs. It is a "echo cancelling" system in that it provides an equal and conflicting resonance to the tyre flexing. It has zilch to do with the suspension as such but improve the ride height stability of the coup¨¦ over bumps and kerbs.

In my opinion it have nothing to do next to aerodynamic performance although on an upward curve the ride height stability surrounded by this area is argued as human being a "movable aerodynamic aid"
The mass damper is a system used in the motor sports composed from a counterbalance that act on the single-seater rendering it stabler in refrain oscillating towards the bottom, while surrounded by acceleration allegerisce the car.
A mass damper be introduced/used by Renault in the delayed 2005 season. Renault then continued to use this "device" though 2006 until they have a commanding lead contained by both the constuctors and drivers titles, at which point the FIA deemed that it infringed the rules...strange that it go unnoticed for so long!!! Oh well, Ferrari / F1 / SchMACKER / cheating / etc blah blah blah boring!!!!!

Can i become a F1 driver even i'm a girl??

Answers:

Come on Niky, you can do it, prove to the world that girls can also race contained by F1.
Of course you can. If you're still young adequate, start with go-carts. Be prepared to run into plentifully of pigs as you get highly developed into Formula One, because it's still a bunch of losers who think you are solitary there to occupy them. But they'll die off and administer way to today's boys who are sharing the go-cart track beside girls.
Yeah
Yes, you can become a Formula One driver, but it will be extremely difficult. There are only 22 F1 drivers (24 contained by 1988) and a handful of test drivers, but nearby are currently no women among them.
Only two women have ever started an F1 see, Maria Teresa De Filippis (4 GPs in 1958) and Lella Lombardi (12 GPs surrounded by 1975-76).
Lombardi is the only woman to finish contained by the points at a Grand Prix; she scored half-a-point for finishing sixth at the shortened 1975 Spanish Grand Prix.
Desiré Wilson, Davina Galica and Giovanna Amati adjectives attempted but failed to qualify for race. However, South African-born Wilson did win an F1 race of sorts surrounded by the short-lived British Aurora F1 series, which mostly featured elder F1 cars.
Amati is the last woman to try F1, she tried to qualify for three race with tail-enders Brabham-Judd 1992.
If you are serious give or take a few becoming an F1 driver, you should start in kart race and work your way up through the lower formulae, such as Formula Ford, Formula 2000, Formula Renault ... it will be expensive though and you must hold driving talent.
yes you can.if you are very well-mannered driver the better your chances
If you are rapid enough, but probably even more importantly if you are strong and fit enough. F1 cars put more strain on the body in a minute than they ever have past. F1 has be trying to capture a feminine Audience for quite a while very soon, I think a feminine driver would fit the bill quite other, don't you?
Yes, if you have what it take to be a F1 driver. Feel for machinery, speed behind the controls, magnificent vehicle control, huge resistance and physical strength (some F1 drivers can pull 50kg weights just about 20 times with their neck!!), and you're an easy personality to work with. And another big element is the one to be exact Renault's logo: Team Spirit. You have to know how to work within harmony beside everyone in the squad, how to relay important information to them for the design and nouns teams to use surrounded by making new elements of the sports car and so on.
If you do make it to Formula 1 (see other answers on how), you would be a promoter's dream. Bernie Ecclestone will be adjectives over you (hopefully not literally) and I'm sure he will be the one who will help you to take into F1 (if he likes you, that is).
You will boost the TV audience and Grand Prix attendances, more women AND men will monitor the races, someone will carry very rich selling merchandise (hopefully you will draw from some profit out of it too).
Also, since female drivers tend to be lighter than males contained by body weight (sometimes by a fringe of 20kg or more), that will give you a unchangeable advantage contained by race strategy as you can put more fuel contained by the car.
Do men approaching getting beaten by women? Definitely not! Can you see in your mind`s eye someone like Montoya (who is no longer beside us) beaten by a feminine driver? Imagine the tantrums he would chuck if that happened...would be remarkably funny indeed.
I think it's basically a matter of time to see women surrounded by F1 (there have be some, but none too successful). Be the first one to make it big!...formerly novelty meaning wears stale.
Or how about womanly F1 drivers getting into cat fights and bitchy backstabbings? Do we close to watching cat fights? Definitely yes!
yes you can..i estimate there enjoy been five feminine formula one drivers
ofcrse.thr were 5 gasl surrounded by f1.bernie will b hpy 2 take u surrounded by...n if ur gd luk is very gd thn u cn blend bst teams lik Ferrari n McLaren..
gd bye
hop 2 c u soon
if you are determined enougth and proficient then yes. so upright luck and hope to be seeing you in the adjectives.
