How do u titen the cluch on a 2005 KX 85?

Your question is not clear. Is the clutch slipping or will it not release adequate to enable you to shift gears.
If is it slipping, nearby are only two cause. !. the linkage between the pedal and the "Throw out" bearing is too long and it keep the clutch depress partially.
2. The pool liner of the clutch is too worn and needs to be replaced, No cure possible by adjustment.
It it will not release the transmission from the engine, the linkage requirements to be made longer.

Loosen the locknut at the clutch lever and turn the adjuster out.
If you tried that and it didn't help, the cable might be a moment or two stretched. There is an adjuster in the cable itself. Follow the cable from the lever towards the motor and you'll see the adjuster as fragment of the cable.
