I presume you are using sportsman as a synonym for athlete. Fernando Alonso is an excellent and severely fit driver, but I think he would be mortified to be called the best `sportsman of the world.'
A world title holder in the decathlon, an event where on earth contestants have to excel contained by 10 very different sports, would hold to be seriously considered for the title of best sportsman/athlete of the world.

I wouldn't articulate so... A sportsman do not blame his team-mate or the crew in front of the cameras because of a lost see or a blown engine. Assuming they are to blame, why shame them and air your dirty laundry surrounded by front of the public?
I'm not a Schumi fan but during the second races of the year, he did accomplishment as a really good sportsman. He may not enjoy won the Championship but he tried his best and believed in his squad (and still thanked them for it). A true sportsman is not judge by the number of championships. Its how he handle pressure that you see his true nature.

Question:Well my opionion is that he is only contained by nascar because of his dad. his dad actually have to put his heart and soul into racing within order to become one of the greatest. All jr. have to do was walk dad can i have a sports car. I think jr. would of never made contained by nascar if his dad hadn't been around. Plus when ever he does something wrong its no big contract but when it is another driver they make a big business deal out of it.

Dale Sr needed dale Jr to sell cars at in attendance dealership and actually is why he go to collage. dale jr wanted to see cars but at the time sr wasn't for it. dale jr had to start out solo and more or smaller amount to prove himself before sr took him on. i agree near you 100%. If they didn't have restrictor plate race, dale junior would have similar to 5 career win. Those are the only race that save him. I do not devise that we should attack a man just because he is poorer his father. I do not care for Jr. However, I surmise his father was a better driver, and to reckon Jr would out do is father is wishful thinking. I believe his father simply had a greater desire to win to be in motion with his automatic talent to drive. I would like to also state that I am not a Jr or a Sr adherent, but you have to hand over credit where credit is due if you approaching them or not.

Yeah, Jr drives for the racing squad that his father started and that is because he is loyal to his father. He saw how his father worked extremely rock-hard and he wants to contribute and abet his father's legacy verbs. Dale Jr wasn't hand squat. Dale Sr made him prove that he wanted to be a driver within Nascar. Before Jr began race he went to community college and get a degree within automechanics, he used to change grease at his father's car dealership. Dale Sr didn't appendage any of his children anything...and that sure as hell includes Jr. Dale Sr actually didn't even want for Jr to become a racer but when he saw how proficient Jr was he arranged to put him on a "probation period" to prove that he was serious around racing.
You can ask any of the elder drivers in Nascar and they will update you that Dale Sr was super not easy on Jr when he started out in Nascar. Dale Sr know how hard it be going to be for Jr and he wanted to cause sure that Jr could handle adjectives the pressure. And...how many drivers can say aloud that they went stern to the race track where on earth they lost their father and win?? Dale Jr has won twice at the see track where he lost his idol, his father, Dale Sr!!
And for those of you who love to say-so that Jr has simply won on restrictor plate tracks, you are sadly mistaken...AS USUAL! Jr have won at Texas, Richmond, Bristol, Charlotte, Atlanta, Phoenix, Chicago,etc...and as far as I knew those tracks be not restrictor plate races. Also...Junior is super consummate. I doubt that his sponsors would stick with him if he wasn't skilled. He has 17 win (would have have his 18th if it hadn't been for Vickers' mistake at Dega), 107 top 10's and 6 poles.
And Jr have gotten penalized by Nascar previously. In 2004 when he won at Dega' he cursed in conquest lane and Nascar docked him points and fined him money. Plus, he was the with the sole purpose driver at Dega two weeks ago who got within trouble by Nascar for "rough" bump drafting.
Some of you need to get hold of a freaking clue and realize that Dale Jr wasn't handed a damn entity to him. He has worked to bring back everything he has and next some. But I understand that everyone isn't gonna similar to him and that's fine but don't sit there and bash the man's integrity!!

I agree near you. I am not a huge fan of his and I deliberate that he is only in that because of his daddy.
However, there are various other drivers currently on the circut who have no win, or very few job wins. Look at Vickers, up until Dega he have no wins contained by his entire cup career- he only won that see because he got into Jimmie. Casey Mears, Micahel Waltrip, Robby Gordon, Elliot Sadler, Jamie McMurray etc... I don't dislike adjectives of those drivers, but they really don't have greatly of wins lower than their belts either. Of course frequent of those drivers are constantly changing team.
But I agree, I really don't think Jr is that great. His looks did not return with him in, explicitly for sure. And he is an agressive driver. When he does well, it is because he is a bully similar to his daddy was.

Most Nascar racers hold connections to get where on earth they are in go. What about Kerry Earnhardt? We dont hear much around him. Sometimes it takes luck and self at the right place at the right time to get a accurate ride, no matter how apposite you are. There are thousands of people who would be lately as good as the Nascar stars, but just so many opportunity available.
Does somebody need a varying. Jr. is racing because he expressed an interest to his father. Big matter!!! So his father is Dale Sr. Of course Junior isn't as good as his dad be. He is not his dad.he is his own man. By the way, Sr. have been gone a few years so your excuses don't fly.
Jealousy is a powerful point, and I know how hard it is to carry over it. But try to anyway. You're not the only guy out at hand racing dirt and dreaming in the region of NASCAR. Maybe it SEEMS that way sometimes, but it ain't. How just about all the drivers who would love to hit the dirt track circuit and don't own the opportunity? Believe it or not, you're doing something yourself that a lot of relatives only dream just about. Think about it.
And Dale Jr. wouldn't be within NASCAR if he hadn't earned it on his own merit. Dale Sr. didn't mitt it all to him on a silver platter. He made him prove himself first, only like Ralph Earnhardt did Dale. If your term could "buy" you success within NASCAR, Kyle Petty would have partially a dozen Championships by now. Even if Dale have put Jr. in the best equipment as soon as he hit the track and bought his means of access into the sport, if he couldn't race, it wouldn't hold made him a racer. And that's what he is. JUNIOR RULEZ!
And I agree that a lot of drivers on the dirt tracks and short track circuits would own a chance to try their paw at NASCAR if the owners and sponsers weren't bringing in drivers from other motorsports divisions. I know, though, that's where on earth Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart came from and own brought a lot to NASCAR. But it would be nice to see more foreign drivers come up through the stock car ranks instead of other divisions.
I agree, I saw on Dateline or NBC, something similar to that before Dale died a show almost Jr that he did not want to do any of the dirty work. All he wanted to do be to drive and not do any dirty work. Dale started from the sweeping the garage to changing tiers and so forth. Dale said it himself on the show. HE WANTS THE FAME. That is exactly why I don't resembling that man. He is not doing it because he loves it. He is doing it because he wants to be familiar.
