Auto Racing Questions and Answers
I want to set off street race? WHat will I have need of to bring started?
Question:HOw much would it cost? After I get the sports car, whats next?
Answers:
Well first of adjectives you need to find a motor that you can work on yourself, my choice of drag car is a mustang. Next lay out a budget and stick to it. Building a in haste race sports car takes money, and none of the parts are cheap. Depending on the type of engine block you enjoy, will depend on what parts you want to get and how hastily you will go. You own several options for power adders, supercharger (prices depend on the size and what sports car you are using), turbo (price depends on the car), and nitrous kits (anywhere form $300-$600), but at most track you are merely allowed one of these on your car. You will requirement to get an exhaust gear (prices depend on what type and lenght you want). If you want to run in a material drag class, you will have to draw from a roll cage (around $400 to install it yourself), helmet ($150-$400), and a fire suit($130-$400), depending on how hasty your car go
Currently my hubby and I are building an 83 mustang and so far we have put $9000.00 into the sports car. The car cost $3000.00 beside a roll cage. For a total of $12,000.00. And I still hold to buy parts to put in my 94 GT Convertible.
If you are going to street see do it away from the public, try an industrial area, but the safest place to run is at the track, never see on the Highway, if you do your stupid.
**I hope this info helped, the easiest item to do is to talk to someone at your local drag strip that have a fast saloon and see what they think, its better to enjoy a car, after decided what you want to do next to it.
You'll need a street ;-)
no hypothesis but u would need a shitload of money if u want to do it beside pros and a car that u probably cant afford
A street
Get a lobotomy and a nouns of insurance. I recommend a tricycle so you have a vehicle to contest your mentality.
sorry i cant inform u at al.l i am not getting any repsonses from the web
Alot... Get premium insurance. You'll obligation it after you wreck on the street. It you want to get into race...take a driving institution and keep the race on the track, it's safter...
Don't listen to those guys first you will need Nitro, Turbo engine Remember street race is dangerous the risks youll give somebody a lift can get you kill
maybe try race a bigwheel. souped up cars are so passe.
After you get the motor go out on the street and drive brisk.
It will sooner or later cost you your drivers license, I don`t know some freedom and possible damage to yourself your saloon other peoples cars and or property and possible your life and the lives of others. Go ahead own fun.
Cash for the tickets and lawyers you will inevitability to get out of young offenders` institution, pay for lawsuits after you hit innocent ancestors and hospital bills when you crash your honda that has be sticker tuned into a wall. Other than that you might want to find a race track and a club or association that will help you stay out of young offenders` institution.
You do know that "street racing" is ILLEGAL!?!
How about .. Try Bracket race..
1) IT IS LEGAL!, safe, & SMART!!!
2)That would also confer you the knowledge, to build & see your car.
Look up the silver state classic road race.
It is a 90 mile, wide break open throttle road race..It is held out hard by Las Vegas.
Look up nasaproracing.com.. (No not the space shuttle & astronauts) Its a cool racing outfit.
You could also look into activate racing, sprint race, dirt track racing..etc.
This is some really cool stuff that you can attain into..
It will cost you $$$ of course.( But..WITH OUT THE FINES & possible loss of innocent lives & intern time!!! )
Most of these do have entry fees to bring together & participate.
Have fun & save it LEGAL before ya offer all us sports car Nutz a bad autograph.
Get out there & keep under surveillance some races.. CHOOSE yer saloon wisely!
Just cuz it is "popular & within style" don't meen nothin'
(We are bias.. & prefer old American Muscle.)
If yer still interested.. keep hold of it simple to start out..
Start w/ yer chassis, stiffen it & upgrade suspension.
Motor: start w/ air intake & exhaust. Also upgrade ignition system.
You will also obligation good tires & brakes.
Recomend Roll coop, 5 point harness.
You can start out with great after marketplace stuff.. which is a hell of an improvement over stock & still will keep hold of yer car a driver.
Now ya gotta find out & drive the car... Pretty much yer on yer own.. Learn as you dance... Have fun & hope ya got some $$$ to blow.. This hobby is totally costly & dangerous if you don't play it smart & know what yer doing!
GOD BLESS!
Take it to the track. It's ok to risk your own duration but not the lives of others. HELLO...Some people that use the streets are NOT race.
first ya need a saloon
then a street
consequently someone to race
and some money to bet next to
First the car screening is probably the most important declaration you will make surrounded by the proses of starting a racing holder (I drive an 88 Honda CRX DX). The car you drive will determine how you drive, where on earth you can drive it, and who you will race. If you own a tight budget (Like I do) I would suggest a Honda (they have a fruitless rep., but they are CHEAP to maintain and upgrade compared to most other brands). After you return with the car I would suggest study how to drive it (not like drive around town but really swot to drive it) by finding a school that have go-carts (really even PRO and NASCAR drivers use go-carts to sharpen there skills). Finally find a club or squad (informal or formal) to race or see with.
