How would you set down a successful season for your favorite squad contained by 2008?

Answers:    This is a tough one for a perennial third-place finishing team. I would hope, first of adjectives, for an improvement on ending season's 83 wins for Toronto, and I reason that somewhere in the 85-88 variety is a reasonable expectation.

More importantly, I'd approaching to see the young member of the staff continue their nouns, notably Marcum and McGowan. Dustin McGowan have the ability to be a top-of-the-rotation guy, and Marcum a nice third starter. If they can develop and Halladay/Burnett stay tough, then a 90-win season isn't too much of a stretch. I'm not hoping for the playoffs at this point, simply because of the division contained by which they play.
Indians at least produce it to the World Series The Red Sox are my favs. If they can go out and gain Santana for Crisp and Lester, I will figure that as pretty succesful. As for the integral year. Get back to the World Series and trademark it a little more exciting this time.+
enjoy them win the world series or win more games than they loose. GO FLORIDA MARLINS!! woot woot.... but its a shame (for football) that the packers lost [sniff...] but just as long as they tempo the patriots WE DONT WANT THEM TO BEAT THE DOLPHINS RECORD FOR A PERFECT SEASON! They win the World Series, or if they win more games after they lose, and they get to the post season, what they do starting contained by the post season is up to them. But you have to win your games contained by order to get it to the post season, and if you want to stay in the playoffs longer, you own to win your games, or expect your season to come to an end.
For the White Sox I would articulate to rebuild their bullpen, amount out the outfield and 3rd base. If they did 2 out of the 3 it still would be a great renovation. If they finished in 4th, but not too far out of 3rd, I would be vastly impressed. It is a rebuilding year for us, but maybe the Sox will surprise us. phillies!
will settle for nil except world series
for the cardinals, though I'm positive that they'll suck mightily this year, I'd call it a worthy year if they:

A.) win the season series vs. the Cubs and
B.) improve their overall journal from laast year (this one's a long shot, though)
Winning every game against the Boston Red Sox For the Phillies, a successful season would be to repeat as NL East Champs to start next to and then at lowest make the ALCS, the World Series have to be the goal but a playoff run and making it to the ALCS can not be considered a disappointment. I meditate the window for this squad is still open far plenty that the Phillies can say that they still hold a few seasons beside the core group to get that World Series success.
A. The Mets getting a new SP
B. The Mets getting a different Reliever
C. The Mets putting Carlos Gomez in RF
D. The Mets successful more of their games
E. The Mets actually holding on to their division
F. The Mets in reality going to the World Series.
White Sox for .500 or better. Hey, EXACTLY 21,000 points, good profession! Peter Angelos selling the Orioles and they finish with a ahead record.
I would love for the Red Sox to win the division again. That would be fantastic. However, I cogitate you have to weigh the unharmed season to mark the nouns. If there are lots of injuries to push button players, that changes the definition of nouns. If you lose starting pitching and other key players such as Varitek for the Sox, only just taking the Wild Card would be successful to me. for my yankees:

A) win the season series VS the red sox (not neccesarily a sweep, let's keep things interesting)
B) win the AL East, and hang on to the sox out of the wild card
C) joba and wang have very biddable seasons and helping get our team
D) to the world series, as expected.
E) to WIN the world series for the next two years, the ending in the dated stadium and the first in the latest.

~26>7~

My packers should have won that activity.
yankees need to kind a statement and win their division. then they inevitability to go insightful into the playoffs. we have too much talent to not draw from world series number 27...its our last year within the current yankee stadium, so lets produce it a good year. The Phils stipulation to advance surrounded by the playoffs. (I don't see that happening, though. I don't reason they're as good as concluding year.)
I WANT A WORLD SERIES FOR DETROIT!

End of story...
I'm a Dodger fan so I'm used to successful season. As long as they win more games than they lose and attendance continues to be the best in key league history, then it's a great season! Reds are my troop, and I'm hoping for a third place finish...

Also, any of these would be nice:

Jay Bruce wins ROY.

Joey Votto, Homer Bailey, Johnny Cueto adjectives are effective.

Reds dump Mike Stanton in the past he qualifies for AARP benefits.

Aaron Harang finally get a much deserved Cy Young... vote.

40 HR out of Dunn.

35 Saves out of Cordero.

An ERA in the bullpen below 5.00... :P

25 HR for Griffey.

Dave Ross any returns to 2006 form or is dropped.

Reds stay away from the three catcher thing...

Win the season series against the Cardinals so I can enjoy bragging rights with my friends... :P
Since I root for the Pirates, I purely hope no one get hurt. For the Jays, I would deem it successful if they fired their GM.

Barring that, finishing 2nd in their division would be great.
Brewers: win the NL inner and atleast contend in the playoffs For the final season surrounded by Yankee Stadium, only one outcome will suffice: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP #27.
SAN FRANSISCO IS MY TOWN GIANT IS MY LIFE

we have need of so many things to be sorted or enhanced... not in instruct.
1) A`s year pitching from Zito.
2)Bullpen to pitch at its real smooth.
3)Name the closer for the season.
3)Clutch hitting from Durham, Feliz, Aurilia to diserve their money.
4)Start as many youthful talents on exit day as possible.
(Frandsen-Ortmeier-Davis-Velez-Lewis)
5) Give the locker-room key to Rowand.
6) Ask Bonds to sing the Anthem on opening light of day.
7) Fans to show they were not Bonds addicted later attend games even after a slow start.

SEE YA IN SEPTEMBER FOX. THAT`S BASEBALL MAGIC
No heart break this year, my poor little heart can't take another year of big promise and surrounded by the end bestow me with big disappointment. I would love to see the Dodgers win the NL West or Wild Card and at lowest contend for the playoffs. I know this youth movement thing will steal a while, so I don't know if a WS will be possible this year. yankees
make the playoffs but i dont guess they can win it next year
the White Sox
and I describe that as winning it adjectives
and I know we had a VERY discouraging year last season, but thats the hope and i dont think we want to settle for smaller quantity
pitch great, hit great, field great, and no stupid mistakes
also if the red sox go and get santana there is going to be abundantly of trouble for the other teams but it is going to be pretty frozen to get santana anyways because minesota will want probably the red soxs fenomenal rookies which we will not do. also beside great speed of pedroia and ellsbury we are unbeatable similar to the celtics and patriots For the Angels a successful season would be to hit the red sox in the playoffs.
Well, the Red Sox successful the WS again wouldn't be too bad. ;)
