nope. the tigers are favorites.

The Red Sox really have the talent to win the World Series again. There doesn't give the impression of being to be a weak spot contained by their roster! As a Red Sox fan, I don't reflect I'll be disapointed this upcoming season at all.

However, right presently, the Tigers look to be the best AL team printed. We'll have to see how everything turns out for them, though.
arguably yes they are the best..but in attendance are still some other teams similar to the detroit tigers and the mets.

im confident in the sox, but i dont wanna malfunction them so lets simply hope they have a well-mannered season.
They have to be considered the favorite since they won the W.S. If they stay in good health, there is no sense why they couldn't repeat. But, there will be profoundly of teams gunning for them.

So, is it possible, yes. Can they, don't know.
dude I can`t stand the soxs One of four! The other three being the Indians, Tigers and Yankees. I enjoy a funny feeling in the region of the Mariners this year also. Ever just go and get a hunch about something? I'm not legitimate impressed with the bottom three within your batting command, and Beckett is the ONLY SURE thing within the starting rotation. I'm not impressed with your bench any. Watch the Indians this year also! I'm a Yankee fan, and I close to the Tigers and Indians also. I don't care for the Red Sox or Mariners.
I'm a Sox aficionado, but I've got to side beside the Tigers as the best team. Boston may still hold the best rotation, but the Tigers have clad pitching, and arguably the best line-up. The Sox are certainly contained by the hunt.

however, for any team you can pick holes apart. Much resembling the Yankee fans that focus their team will win because of Hughes, Kennedy and Chamberlain.

1) Ellsbury is a rookie, he have 4 weeks of experience and I think that 'giving' him the CF career instead of him having to earn it more than Crisp is a mistake.
2) Pedroia really shouldn't own been ROY, I infer Delmon Young should have be. Pedroia is Placido Polanco with smaller number hits. Serviceable, but by no means bullet proof.
3) Ramirez, bet you are crossing your fingers than 07 wasn't the start of something regular.
4) Mike Lowell, essentially the throw in to the Beckett trade, neither squad actually required him. Was he motivated from a walk year?
5) Drew. hmmm, where on earth to start. Classic underachiever.
6) Varitek, getting older, smaller number effective and not a soul ready to bring his place.
7) Lugo. First half or second partially Lugo showing up.

Beckett had a trade year, let's hope that's the norm for a while.
Matsuzaka - does his late year short outings concern fan.
Schilling, he's out.
Wakefield, I think they choice they wouldn't have to rely on him, but is other consistant.
Lester and Buchholz - see Chamberlain, Kennedy and Hughes

Can really dog their bullpen at all.

So, while they will be a terrifically good squad, it's not like they hold no holes.
You just own to look.

My prediction though is that they will take the AL East, but won't win the world series, I see Cleveland finally getting a turn.

Although, that C surrounded by the Cubs is worrisome.
Nope, not again. I'm a huge Sox fan, but it's too rash to tell and within are WAY too many factor and questions...

1. Will Pedroia live up to the season he have last year or will he enjoy a "sophomore slump"?

2. Ellsbury's good but unproven for the long-haul... Is he really all set to perform at a Major League height for the entire season?

3. Can the pitching staff fill within for Schilling's absence and still avoid injury?

4. Will Beckett and Daisuke know how to carry the staff?

Granted adjectives teams hold similar questions but I guess it's a bit too early to crown them champ for '08. That being said, they're the champ and therefore are the troop to beat. If things run as expected they're probably the favorites to repeat. Let's just hope things work out fitting for the season.
I just get done posting about this twaddle.

Manny will get hurt. Papi will hit 30-35 HR. Dice-K will play as if he is overpaid, Josh Beckett will once again dominate the mound and pass his team to the playoffs for the 2nd year within a row. Pedroia will be amazing. Papelbon will clutch incredibly. Buchholz will be okay. Varitek gets worse respectively year, I dont even know why they still have him. Lowell will not follow up his previous year.

Overall... no.
Tigers/Angels AL
D-Backs/Mets NL
no
the sox own one of the best one-two punches in baseball, but the TEAMS, to be exact to say the best 25 man rosters, will be the angels and indians Gotta say aloud I am a huge Red Sox fan myself, but if at hand is one thing I hold learned over the years of suffering, it is that zilch is ever certain within MLB. The Sox have a suitable chance to repeat as roughly the entire team is final. But injuries, cold spells, hot streaks, and luck play a major member. Some teams enjoy really bolstered their roster and could contend...Mets, Brewers, and Tigers to name a few. As long as Manny, Papi, Beckett, Paplebon, and other switch cogs play at the level they are expected to and remain nutritious, we've got a haphazard. I am a bit concerned about our pitching next to Schilling's injury. Clay is great and Wake is always an innings eater, but we entail some depth to cover possible injuries or slumps. Hopefully we sign a veteran before the season starts to straightforwardness any concerns. Go RED SOX!
AWESOME....AND I AGREE WITH YOULOOK FOR A WORLD SERIES IN FENWAY PARK AND FIELD dude i agree 100% im a sox fan and i agree i mingy look at this roster! its stacked! great pitching, batting, field and good speed. i imply come on best team contained by MLB no dought. this is gonna be a great season. im lookin for another WS champioship
Definitely yes. This is a better team than be on the field second year, and JD Drew and Julio Lugo should bounce from bad season to be at least average hitters. After that look at the rest of the lineup, not a impossible hitter anywhere. Fielding also, Ellsbury should compete for a gold glove, Pedroia is great contained by the field, Youk won a gold ingots glove, Lowell has won tons of them, and V-Tek is probably the best catcher within the game down the plate. Their only fear is that they need other pitchers besides Beckett to win games, the red sox own a beast of a lineup. bat their only two big weakness are Drew (i think they should receive rid of him) and lugo, but lugo can steal bases. the pitching rotation is solid even in need schilling because bucholz looked like he can steal a starting role last year by pitching the no hitter. also they own a good pinch runner, and shielding sub on the bench with crisp. the with the sole purpose weakness i see for the sox is middle nouns, because okajima is a good setup man, and timlin is biddable when he is healthy but delcarmen, lopez, and snider are iffy. my prediction is the sox win the AL east near the best record within baseball, then turn on to win the world series.
no cause the cubs are much better and they got fukudome and more players beside some heatlier players
GO CUBS!!!!!! Because Pitcher Is Not Easy David Ortiz

  • How roughly speaking the Red Sox?
  • Besides the sucky Cubs.. which troop have a longer drought of losing contained by any sport?
  • Who is the first character within this picture?
  • Softball???
  • Would you resembling to see prosecutors lay bad from charging Roger Clemens of any crimes....?
  • Who have signed Edward Salcedo? I hope its the yankees.?
