Why does everybody suppose I'm chance because I resembling the Yankees and Jets?

I know I'm supposed to like the Giants because I close to the Yankees because thats how fandom works here but those are the two teams I close to. Why do people preserve having problems next to this?

Answers:    You aren't weird at adjectives. I like the Yankees, Jets, and Giants. There is zilch wrong if you like the Yankees and Jets. You aren't the one and only one to think that mode. You also aren't the first, or the last. There is no rivalry between the Jets and Giants, since they share equal stadium. There is nothing wrong next to being a Jets, and a Yankee follower.
Who has a problem beside you liking two trial york teams?? At lowest your keepin gyour faith within the Jets and didnt jump onto the bandwagon when the Giants won! Good for you! Plus you could be a bills fan too!! I dont think theres a rule that say mets fans own to be jets fan and yankee fans hold to be giants adherent i think every squad is fair hobby! You just open your account a few weeks ago and I doubt that anyone on this site even know who you are let alone whether or not you are unusual. If anyone is having a problem next to your team selection it must be friends of yours or someone who knows you, I would suggest asking them. You are unquestionably free to enjoy any squad you like short someone giving you problems.
cause u own to like teh yankees and giant I think it's because the Jets haven't really won any type of contest titles yet. Unlike the individuals you are refering to, your a true Jets and Yankees fan. They a moment ago jumped on the Giants bandwangon. You shouldn't verbs about that.
They have a sneaking suspicion that you're weird, they're only just jealous. I'm a lover of the Baltimore Orioles, The Buffalo Sabres, and the Washington Redskins/ Buffalo Bills. Don't be a bandwagoner, i hate those citizens. Agree with frizzer i don't regard as anyone is that concerned with you
i never unspoken that my self. i'm a yankees and jets hanger-on too and people other tell me that unexpected you are not a giants fan or a mets fan.. i construe that in the city is more that the mets and jet are not in duplicate category as the yankees and giants. that's the lone explanation i could think stale. I once went out near a person who be a mets and giants enthusiast. it doesn't matter who you root for. I'm a admirer the Giants and the Yankees, but I'm a New Yorker and I cheer the Jets, the Mets and the Buffalo Bills, when they are playing teams that aren't from New York. Anyone who have a problem with who you cheer for, a short time ago has a problem.
Historically -- going hindmost to the Sixties and Seventies, anyway -- it's the been the elder, established-league, in-the-city teams (Yanks-Giants-Knicks-Rangers) or the newer, rebel-league (AFL, ABA), semi-suburban team (Mets-Jets-Nets-Islanders). This was aided by geography: The Mets and Jets played within Queens, the Nets and Isles played at the Nassau Coliseum, and the Jets had (and, at smallest for the next couple of years, still have) their office across from the Coliseum on the Hofstra campus. The fact that deeply of Long Islanders grew up in Brooklyn and moved out here in the Forties and Fifties expected that Dodger fans usually become Met fans.

Times changed. The Seventies saw the Meadowlands complex built, the Giants move into it, and the Nets ignore the Island for New Jersey. The Eighties saw the establishment of the Devils, and they and the Nets moved into the arena now agreed as the Izod Center; also, the Jets left Shea for Giants Stadium. This designed that Long Island had lone the Islanders left, while New Jersey have the Nets and Devils all to their own, and the Jets have to struggle to compete with the Giants for both the City and New Jersey, while losing seriously of their Long Island fan platform, as getting to the stadium (either by car or public transport) become a pain within the neck.

Now, it's pretty much as follows: The City, a impartially even split between Yanks/Mets, Giants/Jets, and 90/10 Knicks over Nets and Rangers over the other two hockey teams; New Jersey, going on for 2/3 Yankees, 2/3 Giants, 2/3 Devils over Rangers (that '94 Cup didn't help) and about even Knicks/Nets; Long Island, just about 60/40 Mets, 2/3 Jets, 90 percent Islanders, and I'm not sure about basketball. What Westchester and Connecticut deduce, I can't be sure.

As to whether it's strange to be both a Yanks and Jets fan: Not really, especially since the Jets are very soon nearly a 50-year-old team. I'm 38, born the year of the Mets' and Jets' "miracle" championship, and I can't remember a time when the "newer" teams did not enjoy those titles as long-established fact, although I can remember until that time the Isles had won their four straight Cups and earlier the Devils existed. That the Mets and Giants won World Championships within three months (Oct. '86-Jan. '87) changed some things; that the Jets nearly go to the Super Bowl right after the greatest of all Yankee season ended (Oct. '98-Jan. '99) also did. So while your shield is a minority, it's hardly unusual.

As for myself: Born within North Jersey, raised contained by Central Jersey; Yanks and Devils to the core, never a fan of any local football team (though detective novel the Giants taught the Patriots a lesson concluding week), and very angry at the Nets for choosing lame-duck status but finding it impossible to root for the current crop of Knickleheads.
Well, because it is class of weird. I in recent times found out that a friend of mine is a Mets/Giants fan, and that freaked me out.

Proud aficionado of four teams that never win anything
because the redsox and patriot are better than the yankees and jets, the yankees be out of the playoffs in the furious card this year man and how do the jets rule?they be crushed by the pats 38-14 surrounded by week 1 of the 2007 nfl season and they were outdone by the pats again 20-10 also they have a 4-12 season so pick a better baseball and football team man. whoever think you're weird requests to go to a psychologist. it doesn't situation who you like!
Whoever think that's weird have problems.. who you like is who you similar to and no one have a right to say that's dumb. I'm lately like you I am a Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Celtics, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Ohio State Buckeyes enthusiast! I like them too.
I'm a die knotty yankee fan,And a Die rugged Bill's fan,If anyone have a problem with that, they can bite me! Never hear anyone making fun of you. But earlier you be making fun of Red Sox fans and making incredibly rude comments nearly them. "Treat others as you wish to be treated."
Problem? I don't see any problem.
Weird? I don't suggest that you are weird.
I am a New York State resident who happen to live on the other end of the state, closer to Buffalo and while I root for the Yankees as my "hometown" baseball troop, I root for the Buffalo Bills as well, self the "hometown" team. You are entitled to root for doesn`t matter what team you want. However, surrounded by light of the up to date developments with the Bills, I might hold trouble rooting for the Toronto Bills, it maybe later a matter of what "hometown" troop to root for then.
It doesn't concern , you can whatever squad who want to like don't listen to those People because chicago rules!
Jets rhymes near Mets. umbecause they both suck?

  • Astros or Rangers?
  • Did you know?
  • Why is Joe Borowski the Indians closer?
  • Pitcher beneath 25 beside the best coincidence to be a cant miss STAR?
  • Baseball fans- Do you see any Patriots player wear the Yankees hood?
  • Does anyone know if that bright MLB burrow coming contained by 2009 will be on Comcast too? or basically Direct TV?
