He never came out and said he retired. He be waiting to hear from the Yankees during the season. BUT it looks like my beloved Bernie won't be coming posterior. BUT now near Roger back merely maybe basically MAYBE he'll come back.
Bernie Williams be a good ballplayer that be not ready to announce his retirement when the troop no longer needed his diminishing abilities. If he would be content as a pinch-hitter in the National League, he could receive use of his switch-hitting abilities. He does not run in good health enough anymore to play the OF; he have not thrown the ball ably enough for several years.
Bernie Williams be a good player on some terrifically good team. He should seriously consider announcing his retirement if he is not interested in person a part-time player on a another squad.
