Was it right that MLB (Bud Selig) made the St. Louis Cardinals play a time after reliever Josh Hancock died.?
Answers:
Yes. No single person is bigger than Major League Baseball and a single disappearance however tragic should not cause change in the entire league's diary barring security concerns. Other than crucial inconveniences for other teams and fan, postponing the game would set a perilous precedent. MLB would then be forced to determine who is celebrated enough to warrant a amendment in rota upon his passing. Must it be a current player? How roughly coaches? The GM? Deaths are emotional for everyone involved, but duration and Major League Baseball must go on.
Yeah, why not?Thats vivacity bro.The world stops for noone.
The money-grubbing TV networks wanted the money.
I don't win it. If a fan runs onto the pasture, the networks won't show it because they don't want to encourage copycats.
But they have no problem showing the Virginia Tech murderer's video and the Columbine killers who he copied.
Bud Selig is an ***!! He have proven that over and over again! I would have vanished it up to the St Louis organization. They may hold chosen to play, but that would have be their choice. I really hope baseball can find someone else to be a solid commish sometime soon! Bob Costas? Frank Robinson? I know, how about Jack Morris, since they can't seem to be to vote him into the Hall of Fame for some unexplainable reason!!
Sure it be. It would not have be right for them to make them play during the funeral - but a year later - sure.
Yes it be, life must budge on, moping about it wouldn't do any well brought-up, quite the differing probably
Absolutely. They are professionals and have job to do. Professionals in the business world would be expected to return to work lower than similar circumstances, so why not baseball players? As I have said since, I'm sorry that he died, and I feel for his clan and the Cards. But I don't think that newly because he was a professional athlete the circumstances surrounding his loss should be overlooked. Sadly, there are relations that drive impaired adjectives the time. When people drive drunk, doomed to failure things are going to happen. And I in recent times don't think it's right that when inhabitants outside the limelight die from drunk driving we say it's stupid and criminal, but when someone of reputation dies in the exact same mode it's a national tragedy.
no it wasnt he should of given them a day to grasp there selfs together both the world isnt open-minded
Yes. And Bud Selig didn't "make them play". If the Cardinals have a serious problem with playing the subsequent night they could've said something or, if push come to shove, forfeited the game. As oodles above me have said, duration goes on. Playing the winter sport and being live was probably more invigorating for the players than sitting around, doing nothing and wallowing within depression.
People die every day. Businesses don't close down when an hand passes away. They mourn, they grieve and they grasp on with life span.
I don't think it's right to put this on Bud Selig or MLB. I don't muse over hearing anyone from the Cardinals enterprise protest the fact that they have to play on Monday. If the Cardinals didn't want to play on Monday, they should have spoke up -- but they be smart enough to realize that in attendance was baseball to be played.
The best channel to begin soothing is to get on near your life.
Yes, within the words of Freddy Mercury, "The show must go on."
What baseball position should i play?
Question:I can hit better than anyone on my team
I bat a .376
29 homers in 32 games
I can lock in pop flys
i can pitch 75
im a freshman
i have a great arm
im kinda slow though
Answers:
catcher. if you want to pursue baseball contained by the future, there's much smaller number competition at catcher than corner of, 1B, or pitcher. your arm and ability to pick up flies will suit you there, and your speed won't be a stumbling block. pitch too if you want. 29 in 32 games is sparkling today, but if you end up competing against adjectives the other phenoms in your nouns, better to have a skill they don't. look how few catchers within are that can really rake... if you can catch and hit, someone could other use you.
i would say pitcher and on rotten days first base
I don't know why we own hitting stats for defensive position.
I would influence first base, you don't enjoy to be quick, but call for to have moral glove work, good luck.
Catcher perchance but it depends on good you can ensnare. Since you got a great arm you should be capable of mow down people stealing. Also catchers don't inevitability to be fast to succeed.
very well.
fined out if there is a position that not a soul elc has
thats what i did and it worked!honourable luck
Center Field! You've got promise, Kid!
corner Outfield or first basemen try pitching a couple of times.
HOLY SH*T 29 HOMERS IN 32 GAMES?!? daaaaaaamm man thats damn flawless u got a perfect arm too and you can field
slowness...eh only just work on that hit the treadmill 3 times a week 30-45 minute sessions of running fast and slowing down
does you dignified school enjoy a DH? id shift for that or 1b if you can do grounders and scoops
First Base or Right Field or you could try pitching.
1st underside or right field and pitcher if you can pitch.
Right feild that route you can throw people out running from home. Babe Ruth be a pitcher but he was a great hitter so they needed to play everyday. So they moved him to right feild and threw everyone out with his arm.
I would influence that you should be a 1st baseman or a catcher
If you`re very early with a great arm try 3rd baseman or short stop. But if you can throw consistent speed of 80+MPH or sophisticated you should be pitcher.75 MPH will not keep the orb in the park if your playing pro orb at any level. You say aloud you're a college freshman 75MPH wouldn't do it nether cause those hitters use steel bat.
Why do citizens report Abuse when nearby have be no despoliation of harm?
Question:Only simply disagreeing with individuals doesnt cut using the report abuse piece, thats meant for serious violation not because you do not like a poster on here or what squad they root for.
I for one will never do that simply because I disagree with someone. Heck I wont even do that to someone for saw go dodgers even though to be exact a disgusting comment LOL
Answers:
that's true, the Abuse feature is for disagreeable offensive stuff. People shouldn't assault it for petty reasons. That's what the thumbs are for.
For alike reason you posted this grill in the baseball clause!!!!!!
I suppose some people are newly jerks who consider it's okay to report abuse only just because they disagree with something. I indicate, we all know nearby are plenty of jerks out here.

Someone once asked "What's your deepest darkest secret"
and fooling around around I answered "I shot a man in Reno, a moment ago to watch him die" (which to the innocent out there, is a row from "folson prison blues") and someone got it delete for "not answering the question."
Sheesh!
