What is the average speed a freshman should pitch within elevated academy?
Question:just wondering if i'm where on earth i need to be
Answers:
As a freshman you should be within the low to mid 70's unless you are phenom. Many people hold not developed all of the basic skills to pitch effectively at that age. Not to mention you are still growing. Your fastball should jump significantly when you make your junior and senior year. Work on your arm strength and mechanics. Mechanics can really provide alot of velocity to your pitches and also prevent arm injuries.
in the low eighties...it is according to what his pitch is and what sport it is that he/she is playing also. I own known some to pitch within the mid to high eighties as okay.
tough to say
for a 14 year frail, low 80s is impressive
mid to dignified 70s is average
It depends of the shape of your arm. some kids play a lot of hobby in the summers and some purely play casual, if you throw every year then your arm should know how to take harder throwing.
75-85
I would read out you should be around the mid to upper 70s, I was throwing 77-78 as a freshman, by the time i be a senior i was hitting 88-89. Let your arm develop and trade name sure you play long toss every day and lifting weights other helps.
Also remember it isn't other how fast you throw but you location and movement.
giant 70's low 80's usually. But some kids just own the gift from god to throw complicated
It all depends on what style of pitcher you are. When Maddux was pitching at Valley High School surrounded by las Vegas their was a Freshmen name Danny Opperman that threw 88-91. Maddux was a Senior throwing alike. I heard Danny blew out his arm contained by AAA and never made it to the majors. Their was also a guy name Steve Chitren that pitched on the same squad and threw in the order of 83-86 but had great control and contract killer movement and he pitched for the A's a few years.
So anything over 80 and you are where you requirement to be on speed IF your going to make it to the Pro's at some horizontal BUT it is control and movement that will win gaves for you...
Even in the large 70's with well brought-up stuff you are okay...
well im a 14 year antiquated pitcher going to try out for the freshman team and i throw surrounded by the low to mid 80's i asked the varsity coach and he said high 70's is where on earth you should be, low 80's some people accomplish that but you will need to build up your arm strenght
Is it Minaya or Randolph the defence the Mets turn around?
Answers:
Both, since Willie took the talent Omar got him and won near it. He turned the young kids into core league players, got the veterans to buy into the system, and the intact team to play together. Of course, none of that would enjoy been possible lacking Omar's work, so it is clearly a product of the two of them.
Just look at another NY team, the Knicks, and you see how it is when a lousy coach can't acquire anything out of the lousy players the lousy GM gets him.
Minaya
Yes, they both are. Randolph is a great supervisor and got snubbed over a losing Joe Girardi. Should hold won MOY. He was high-ranking on Reyes even when people say-so Jose couldnt possibly lead bad with that waddle ratio. Now Reyes has done nought but improve, he is getting on stand and making contact.
Minaya has done nil but adding talent. Its also helped that they enjoy the budget to sign these players. Beltran, Pedro, Delgado, Wagner are the four keys. He also signed pretty flawless role players like Green, Valentin, Sanchez. Minaya noticeably has an eye for talent.
I utter both of them are.
Randolph. He won two World Series as a Yankee and four more as a coach. He is still a Yankee, and brought the Yankee way to the Mets, showing them how it's done. Definitely Willie.
Shuld A-Rod stay next to the Yankees after this season?
Question:If it's a situational thing (the Yankees win the WS) afford your reasons and such.
Answers:
Well, if he continues to play close to he has so far for the rest of the year later he should leave because team will be willing to fork up more money later he is making. There have already be rumors that the Texas Rangers are interested in getting him vertebrae and are willing to remuneration. He should at least be in motion out and test the river, teams will be of a mind to pay up.
Hell no. With the start he's have this season, his value will never be high. Run from the Bronx because until you perform within the playoffs they'll hate you anyway.
I assume New York is the only place where on earth A-Rod will make the most money. If he have a great season (as he is already) George might want to keep him. But the Yankees haven't won surrounded by a long time and the AL East is getting stronger every year. A-Rod might just wander. Ring or not.
If I was A-Rod I would flip the NY fan the bird like they enjoy been doing to him the ending couple years and walk away next to his value sky rocketing.
It's tough playing for the Yankees.fan always expect your best every single hours of darkness! He should go to a squad where the fan don't boo if a player is not his best like
Angels
Padres
A's
There's no path A-Rod should leave the Yankees. No sane character should pass up $27 mill guaranteed for an undecided future. Baseball is indistinguishable game everywhere you are. See the ball, hit the orb. A-Rod is robotic (professional) enough to realize this. Like Rasheed Wallace (CTC kid!), I don't think he care where the money comes from.
If he's looking for money and a constant uncertainty at the World Series, he should. His start this season has never be paralleled, which is a sign this could be where he belongs. Although he be actually getting remunerated more on the Rangers, I'm not sure many team other than the Yankees could afford him. I despise that damn club, but you cant argue beside the game he is raining on everyone right in a minute, and i know my A's couldn't afford him.
Well, as a Red Sox fan, I'd own to wish for A-Fraud to stay right at hand in the Big Apple, because as long as he's here, the Yankmees will suffer "the Curse of A-Rod", and not be capable of successful the World Series again.
A-Fraud is having a flag year so far -- note how he's wait until his **option year** to finally perform up to his reputation. He's building up his "legend" so that Scott Boras can contrive him yet another mega-contract, so he can be in motion somewhere else and be a loser for them, the same route he has be in Seattle, Texas, and in a minute New York.
If A-Rod was to leave your job the NY Yankees and go to another baseball squad, the total budget of that other team may very well be effected and that other squad would not be as powerful as the Yanks.
Its all going on for budget and how much teams are will to put up to win bubble games. If an owner spends too much on one player, it lessens the prospects of picking up other ability players as baseball is team sport.
A-Rod would be foolish to kick ship.
He should stay with the Yankees. He is the fastest player to ever arrive at 500 home runs and the Yankees are the team beside the most money. So if he is smart, he will stay with the squad that can pay him the most plus, they enjoy alot of talent on the team, so they can label a run at a championship.
He should. No other troop will give him a superior contract.
If he's smart he will opt out of his contract and go elsewhere for a bigger payday. It's blatant that he's not cut out for New York or the New York media or the New York fan either. Plus if he go elsewhere maybe he'll enjoy an opportunity to play his regular position of shortstop.
if the fans verbs to treat him as they are treating him now, by celebrate what he's done and not bemoaning what could have be, then yes he should stay...but for, it would be in his personal best interests to walk out, because he simply cannot do more than he's done this year
1. Yes
2. He's on one of the only few team that can afford him.
3. The Yankees want him there when the unmarked stadium opens.
Of course he should stay. Yeah, I disgust it that he gets booed at because he doesn't deserve it. But still the Yankees are the best squad and Arod is the best. He should stay right where he is. Cuz everybody loves him here! And he knows that, that's why he's not going away.
of course. he isnt going to gain paid any better and he said himself that it is the single place he feels comfortable and he requirements to retire with the yankees.
Very few team that he would play for can afford the guy. And after the year he's having surrounded by New York it will be tough to leave.
As a Yankee devotee, I would like to see him stay and collect his $80 million. If he decide to check out the waters of free agency, I'm sure he will get a bigger contract and the Red Sox will be right here with their check book out, but the Yankees won't. We've won minus him and will again. Great if he stays and good luck to him if he go.
HE SHOULD LEAVE!!! NY hates his 40 HR and 130 RBI. They would a bit have another oil lamp hitting Jeter type to fall within love with. The NY fan seem to love those 12 HR and 70 RBI season Jeter puts up. Maybe they should trade A-rod to the Red Sox for Coco Crisp. Then they would have two Jeters!!
Is 2007 the mets year?
Question:I know if it is im buying a plaque and im celebrating resembling crazy. Mets all the road baby 2007 and 2006 be just the warm of the mets hotness and we have carlos beltran best player contained by baseball and paul lodcua, all the best players lone two player the mets should get and thats mike piazza and mark swisher. 2007 is the mets year in my mind :) what does everyone else focus give the world ereis matchup you feel will happen.
Answers:
We'll see.
As much as I love Mike Piazza, the Mets dont necessitate him back and they dont involve Nick Swisher either.
The Mets dont enjoy all the best players. There are much better outfielders than Alou and Green and better second baseman than Valentin. We hold a lot of enormously good players and are defenitely going to be capable of contend for the world championship this year
Yes. The Mets will win the World Series within 2007.
no its the tigers year
I really thought they would had it finishing year, but they seem to hold brought that postseason energy already to this year. Kicking *** and taking name and still showing that baseball can be fun and not about money. I love the Mets!
NO, IT'S THE YANKEE'S OR JAYS YR.
HEY! you forgot David Wright!! I am a pretty big Twins disciple, I have ethnic group in the running. BUT i can't stop watching the mets. I agree with you they hold alot of good players and i construe that they willl have a casual this year! Well i hope so at least. I don't mind watching them into october!
It's well brought-up to be optimistic going on for your team and adjectives, but as history shows, a good start within april doesn't necessarily mean anything for October. Yes, the Mets own a good troop. But good team lose all the time. When they put together the final out, and they hoist up that trophy, then you can say-so it is their year. Until then, purely dream about 1986. I one-sidedly don't think they will draw from there this year.
If they stay Healthy , they've get a pretty good accidental
Yes and No.
Yes they could win the NL Championship
and
NO they will NOT win The World Series.
2007 is the year the Mets finish 3rd behind the Braves and Phillies. Sorry boss.
Carlos Beltran is not the best player surrounded by baseball. I think the Mets and Braves will progress down to the wire. The Mets will not win the National League and I said it finishing year they would not win it because they do not have plenty pitching.
NL East Standings at the end of the year.
Atlanta 99-63
Phillie 90-72
New York 89-73
Florida 82-80
Washington DC 65-97
Well doesn't look resembling the Mets year.
