The Cubs have more than a coincidence, next year s finally here. With Soriano ascendant and a healthy Dereck Lee and Aramis Ramirez at the rear them there going to be scoring lots of runs.
With Zambrano anchoring the pitching staff they are looking honourable. Lilly should do better in the NL (and he be good surrounded by Toronto), Hill had a great second partly and should do even better this year, and Marquis and Miller had upright springs and should be back to their frail dominant ways.
The bullpen is fairly apposite and when Wood comes back it will be even better. The cross-question mark is Dempster, but if he struggles, I deliberate Wood could be a great closer, he has th stuff, adjectives he has to do is stay fit.
Ohh and dont forget Pinnella, he really knows howto win.

NO!! The Cubs always find a process to fall apart. Besides that they enjoy quite seriously of questions roughly their pitching this season. They do have a solid offense but their defense can be questionable at times. They will probably finish second within the division and outside of the wild card

Chicago went winter shopping and spent give or take a few $300 million. They brought home a pitching staff with ERA's over 4.. totally good bat, and Lou Piniella, maybe their biggest off-season signing...

Their hitting unquestionably looks exciting to watch; Alfonso Soriano, Mark DeRosa and Aramis Ramirez, along near Flyod, Lee and company from last season...

presently... pitching, a staff that has a .500 prizewinning %... not looking good...

Ted Lilly, 15-13 ultimate season with a 4.31 ERA..!

Jason Marquis finished 14-16 next to a 6.02 ERA last season..!

Rich Hill, surrounded by his rookie season, finished 5-7 with a 4.25 ERA contained by 16 starts and finished 3-1 with a 1.93 ERA surrounded by September..!

Wade Miller, 1-6 with a 7.21 ERA..!

Closer Ryan Dempster have 24 saves but lost nine games and have a 4.81 ERA..!

In a word, NO! St. Louis and Houston are still better than them and you could argue Milwaukee and Cincinnati could finish ahead of them by the end of the year too. Cubs won't finish any greater than 3rd in their own division and even if they amend by 15 games over last year, they step 81-81 and that won't cut it.

YES! They have better pitching this year and a great lineup. The one and only thing stopping them is the injury bug.
