Can someone explain why Joe Nathan did not bring the salvage surrounded by Saturday night's baseball activity?
Answers:
sorry i can'tt
by the time nathan came on the ninth to pitch the twins have a four run lead...
to qualify for a collect you have to be primary by no more than 3 runs.
however, if a pitcher before nathan come on the nith to pirch and put a man on base near no one out, than nathan would qualify because the possibility of the tying run coming to the plate...
respectively out is considered a "possible run"...
think of the three men coming to the plate is 3 runs here, and the one on base (assuming surrounded by my previous example) would make 4, thus tying the winter sport if they scored...
but since twins be up 4 runs...
the three batters coming to the plate are not considered a threat to tie the team game...
Saves:
Rule 10.20 in the Official Rule Book states:
Credit a pitcher beside a save when he meet all three of the following conditions:
(1) He is the finishing pitcher surrounded by a game won by his club; and
(2) He is not the unbeaten pitcher; and
(3) He qualifies below one of the following conditions:
- (a) He enters the team game with a head of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning; or
- (b) He enter the game, regardless of the count, beside the potential tying run either on underpinning, or at bat, or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already on underpinning or is one of the first two batsmen he faces; or
- (c) He pitches effectively for at most minuscule three innings. No more than one save may be credited within each hobby.
The "Hold":
Just looking at the box, it appears that Nathan entered the team game with one out and a three run head. If he would've started the inning with a three run head he would qualify (but it was a four run front so it wasn't a save situation.)
When Nathan enter the game, the tying run would requirement to be on deck to qualify to qualify, but there be no base runners on when he did enter.
He would own to pitch a full inning with a 3 run front (or less)or enter the game next to the tying run on deck(or on base).neither was the valise
Nathan entered near a three run lead but lone two potential runs, not enough to relinquish the head (for the save situation, simply runners and batters as far as the on-deck hitter count). So the head was too big for the save situation to be within effect.
Will Barry Bonds mark out the 500-8OO-3000-3000 club?
Question:That's 500 SBs, 800 HRs, 3000 hits and 3000 walks. Ambitious numbers can he do it?
Some ask why Bonds is still getting pitched to. You look at his numbers this departed 8 years he has more walk than hits and he hit .330 AVG during this. He has almost like peas in a pod # of hits as walks career-wise and he is a .300 AVG craft hitter. So is Bonds getting pitched to or not LOL
Answers:
There is a slight chance that bonds will catch thease numbera because their really only giving 1 or 2 at bat then they are starting to waddle him
I CERTAINLY HOPE...NOT!
bonds should have be put out to pasture last year, and nobody should enjoy let him play! EVER AGAIN, resourcefully except for maybe some sandlot competitions or something similar to that.
hank is still #1 to me
barry bonds will define the 500-8OO-3000-3000 club for steriod users. it's purely a shame we will never get to see what he would've done have he not used roids. but i aim he truly is one of the 10 greatest, cuz i know he didn't use roids before 1997, through pics and *, so he'd right but not 73 homers good.
Bonds will not outline that club. I don't think he'll make 800. I think after this season he may own one good season not here in him. However, what is it adjectives worth if he signs with anyone who is not a contender? Barry requests a championship and not more statistics. Really the uppermost opinion of Bonds is from himself. Most race outside of San Fransisco probably will not even view the milestone as lawful and will have more respect for what Hank Aaron did.
The one and only club that Bonds defines is the steroids-ThG-HgH-Cream-Clear-A... club.

Turner Field.
The stadium is call Turner Field
I believe they still call it Turner Field.
Officially, Turner Field, but some of the medium guys just give the name it the Ted.
They almost named it Aaron Field after Hank Aaron I longing they had name it after the best Brave ever instead of the owner Ted Turner who no longer owns them.
Yikes - I thought everyone knew this one...lol
The out-of-date one - Atlanta Fulton-County Stadium, namesaked after the city and county it resided.
The new one - Turner Field, namesaked after Ted Turner, longtime squad owner and all-around good guy. I prank that it's actually name after the children's director at my church, Heidi Turner.
Does anybody else see how OVERRATED Jose Reyes is?
Answers:
dude, he is definately gets more credit after he deserves. sure he gets alot of stolen basis but does anybody else notice how much he get caught stealing, no everybody is to bedazzled by the amount of stolen bases he get. Sometimes his constant caught stealing will lose the mets chances contained by scoring that inning.
He isnt even that dominant in the pasture, sure he can field a ground orb, and turn a double play, and all that devout stuff but he will never be as good of a fielder as jimmy rollins, omar vizquel, or other veteran shortstops similar to that.
no.
Uh, no. You must be blind or something. Reyes is not overrated.
this must be kenny lofton, jimmy rollins asking this question, facade it he's better
Jose Reyes is definitely not overrated. He is #2 within fantasy baseball right immediately.
Can't say I do...how do you be a sign of...His speed...his glove...maybe his bat... I don't see it
No!! The word OVVERRATED sometimes become link
to OVEREXPOSURE. Because he is contained by the NEW YORK
market. Jose may not be a Cal Ripken or even detest to say
Derek Jeter.BUT the style his career have started if he can be link to a Ozzie Smith that would only fine. A very honourable defensive SS that can leadoff and steal basis and still an occasional pop in his bat for a HR.
Disagree this infantile man is a great talent on the Mets.
I think you are a Yankee within denial this season.
only own 1 answer to your question..
LETS GO METS !!!
i am a dodger admirer, i cannot stand the mets. but jose reyes is awesome. i take him over rafeal furcal anyday.
I'm not moderately sure why you think he's overrated. Seems to me he's around as exciting a player as baseball has see in days gone by 30 years. He has steadily superior every season, especially with his selectiveness at the plate. He's solid within the field. He's enthusiastic and a happiness to watch. And he's still merely 23.
As an aside to the person above me who said he get caught stealing a lot: As of today Reyes' lifetime foundation stealing percentage is 81% which is far above average and even slightly above that of Rickey Henderson. Wait, I know. Henderson was overrated too, right?
On the overrated register he is far below Derek Jeter.
He's not overrated, I have him on one of role-play teams and he's working rugged everyday.
no. he's the 2nd best player in baseball right very soon behind a-rod. He's stolen 25 basis, which is more than 18 teams, he lead the majors in runs, triples and SBs final year and will likely do it again, and his average contained by in the .330s. He creates a distraction every time he's on underside, and he has 25 HR power. He's the most exciting, explosive player surrounded by baseball, without a doubt, and he have a reasonable gross and actuallt likes to play baseball, unlike most MLB players. He is definitely not overrated
