Another point to consider is how the Yankees finish the season. Will they make it to the playoffs? Or finish within second or third place. Yankees pitching doesn't look to promising this year. The rookies pitchers need more time to become
expert players. I think subsequent year the Yankees will have a better shot to get the playoffs. But I don't think A-Rod will be slice of 2008 Yankees. But he probably will win MVP for 2008.
People talk almost A-Rod being the greatest player contained by baseball, and he well may be, but he have not been a clutch player for the Yankees. Maybe he tries too complicated to always hit a home run I'm not really sure what happen especially in playoff games.

I agree beside the previous response. I do know that the 1984 Tigers record of 35-5 be the best record through 40 games, but the Tigers played the duration of that season around .500. I am unconscious of anyone has bested that engrave through 10 losses.
