Tagging up? did the run count?

Question:Runner second and third, one out
Batter flies out, runner on third tags up and score before they grasp the runner on second out because he does not get stern to the second base since the throw.
Answers:

the run does not count due to the fact that it be a force out at 2nd (no tag necessary). That runner should be reamed by the mediator as he must have see the runner ahead of him tagging up and should never have be caught in that situation.

If both runners have tagged up, it would come down to whether the out be made at third before the runner touched home because the out at third would be a sticky label play.

I just saw this play on ESPN and the answer I give above is wrong. The run WOULD count.
No expert on the rules, but I don't see why not.
No. The run will not count. If you get the 3 outs adjectives runs that came surrounded by are null and voided on the play
Yes, the run counts because he scored earlier the runner at second was put out. In these types of situations you will regularly see a trailing runner who knows he will be out acquire himself involved in a rundown so that the organize runner can score.
nope it odesnt count. since it be a force out, no runs scored earlier it counts. if the runner wouldve tagged up next been tag out, the urn would still count
Ah, the very definition of a timing play.

Yes, the run counts. The batter is the second out, but the third out is not out on a continuous play.
Yes, the run counts, because this is a time play, not a force play.
That depends. If the runner on second also tag up, then yes, the run counts.

If he didnt sticky label up, and the play at 2nd was a force play (no sticky label required, just label the base) then no, the run doesnt count.

EDIT: Wouldnt you know, this of late happened within the Baltimore game, and the run counted (3 innings next anyway). I guess im wrong, I learned something today.
The run counts because the 3rd out for not "tagging up" is an appeal play, not a force out. Hence the timing matter and in this crust the run scored earlier the appeal. The 3rd out is really just another shield of the so called "appeal play for departure early". A force play means you can only touch the base instead of have to tag the runner but this is an example that shows that the reverse does not other hold true. Just because you can tag the foot for the out does not mean it is a force play.
yea if he score before the runner on 2nd get out

Which is more unusual? Triple play or hitting for the cycle?

Question:Looking for some statistics over the last few years (anyone get hard numbers?). In MLB, which is more bloody - the triple play or hitting for the cycle? How many of respectively have be accomplished contained by the last several years? Numbers anyone?
Answers:

MLB date back to 1876. In that time, 234 hitters own hit for the cycle a total of 255 times.

By contrast, there hold been 670 triple plays within the same time.. Thirteen of those were unassisted triple plays, including Bill Wamnsbganss' unassisted triple play surrounded by the 1920 World Series. You didn't specify unassisted triple plays in your press.

Fred Lewis is having his second cup of coffee within the majors.
The triple play is far more rare. I enjoy nothing to support it up other than the Baseball Tonight crew discussion about it over the weekend. Try the baseball almanac.
triple-play
I can't baptize any stats, but listening to bubble games on the radio, I have to vote that triple plays are more rare. I hold heard multiple cycles one hit per season, but have nonetheless to hear a triple-play.
I don't know the exact numbers but I am pretty sure that triple plays are more rare. Fred Lewis of the Giants freshly hit for the cycle yesterday. It was his first hobby playing in the focal leagues too! Pretty amazing. Also, a couple weeks ago the shortstop on the Rockies turned a triple play unassisted. That's pretty amazing also.
Triple play is more occasional.
hitting for the cycle is more rare, it is even more scarce (by like 2 or 3) than no hitters
triple play

How Much could i flog a Jimmy Rollins Game-Used Baseball Bat for on EBAY?

Question:It's from his 30+ game hit streak, but i dont enjoy real proof of it excluding just knowing it.
Answers:

put the damn entry up on ebay and find out. if you don't want to sell it, set a reserve bid of one million dollars. see who bids what for it.
my guess is if you don't hold any certs and it's not autographed it's worth just as much as any used bat of the model is worth.
resourcefully that depends if you have some style to prove that it was winter sport used. If you could somehow prove it,(photo holding bat with Rollins and yourself would be sweet) after I would say around $300 confident. remember there is a sucker born every minute
Why put up for sale it?

But I'd sell it for $20.00. I know it mode nothing, but general public will raise the price, and it may shutting up as 600! Don't start it too high... Otherwise nation won't start to bid and get addicted!

;)
