Dice K Matsuzaka..wtf is up next to this??

Question:Ok, watching the good ole Sox today, next to the genius Dice-K pitching, and after the back of the inning, the first base Ump yell at Dice-K for blowing in his mitt on the mound. Whats up with that? Why does it concern if he blows on his hand? Just wondering if anyone understand the logic behind this and can explain it to lil elderly me?
Answers:

It's illegal for the pitcher to dance to his mouth while on the mound, unless the plate umpire has expressly authorized the pitchers to do so because of cold weather and both manager agree.
Was it cold?
The rules regarding any and adjectives motions/gestures pitchers may make while on the mound are adjectives aimed at ensuring the orb is not being modified by any foreign substance.
It's possible that's a no no because it could salt away an attempt to doctor the ball somehow. The pitcher isn't allowed to own anything in his appendage, including spit.
he could be cheating they prohibited the spit ball backbone in the hasty 1900's. they could only do the that if its cold and if they ask the umpire since the game.
the ump be just making sure he wasnt trying to cheat
In combination beside the Sake on his breath . . . Just kidding.
You can merely blow on your hands when it is cold out.
b/c u cant do that simple as that and no EXCEPTIONS
Pitchers can put stuff anywhere surrounded by their body, and on a non-cold night to hold doing it brings suspicion! Dice-K will survive look at his contract. The first base coach probably brought it up to the umpire!

What does the baseball luxury suite usually comprise of?

Question:The new ballpark that I work at have luxury suites. I've never actually be in one. What is usually within one? What do they look like?
Answers:

They hold nice, luxury seats, probably a plasma tv, a stylish bathroom, good food, comfy seating, air conditioning or heat, and a bar or a buffett table for food. I've be in a luxury suite surrounded by madison square graden and this is what they had.
Usually they are full of rich those who are stuck on themselves.
Or corporate folks who are just regular types.
They usually have free food ,drink. Nice furnishings flat screen
and a wait staff to serve you.Its better down beside the real fan!!
just hold seats, relatives stand around by the bar usually and get through the food, most the idiots will watch the team game on the TV rather than right contained by front of their face. Some others will own another TV with other games on it such as a rivals spectator sport
comfy seats better food than the rest of the park and in the region of 10-20 people more than partially of whom could care smaller quantity about baseball.
alright

What be the pitcher, that threw no hit no run, and lost the winter sport?

Answers:

You can't lose the game if you allow no runs.
Randy Johnson lost on an unearned run contained by extra innings a little while posterior, didn't he?
Can't see how one can lose a game short giving up at least one run (except by forfeit, which is rarer than a no-hitter).

Perhaps you're thinking of Harvey Haddix, who surrounded by 1959 pitched 12 perfect innings just to still be stuck in a 0-0 winter sport. The Braves finally broke it up in the 13th and Haddix took the L, Braves 1 - Pirates 0. Box: http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1959/...
Bill Bevens, of the New York Yankees, within 1947
In the late 90's the White Sox lost a activity despite the four pitchers they used combined to throw a no hitter.
OK, he would have have to given up an UNEARNED run.

This has happen, but no pitcher loses a game near NO RUNS being score
The 1964 Houston Colt .45's Ken Johnson threw a complete game no hitter and lost against the Cincinnati Reds. As the ninth begin Johnson got Joe Nuxhall to ground to third for the first out. That brought up Pete Rose, who bunted. Johnson field the bunt and made a wild throw over the first basemens pave the way, allowing Rose to take second on an error. Chico Ruiz followed next to a hit that richoceted off Johnson's shin to third baseman Bob Aspromonte, who threw Ruiz out at first for the second out allowing Rose to pocket third. Next, center fielder Vada Pinson hit a routine grounder to Nellie Fox, but Fox bobbled the grounder and his throw to first was unpunctually which enturn allowed Rose to score the successful run. Has to be one of the worst feelings that you could enjoy in a baseball team game.
Just Ken Johnson.

A pitcher must throw every pitch of the game for his troop, for 9 or more innings, without allowing a hit to be credited next to a no-hitter. Anything else is listed as an extraordinary shot, but NOT a no-no.

Any combination of walks, hit batsmen, errors, sac flies and sac bunts can push a runner across the plate minus the benefit of a hit in the inning.

See the join below for a complete list of no-hitters, combined no-hitters and extraordinary hard work. You'll also see that most, not all but most, no-hitters are also shut-outs.
On April 12th, 1992 Matt Young of the Red Sox lost to the Indians 2-1 despite throwing 8 no hit innings. Since the spectator sport was within Cleveland they did not bat the ninth. The Indians scored one surrounded by the 1st when Kenny Lofton walked, stole 2nd after 3rd and scored on a error by shortstop Luis Rivera. Then score one in the third when Mark Lewis and Ken Lofton walk, Lewis moved to third on a GlenAllen Hill Fielder choice, then score on a Carlos Baerga ground ball out.

Young did stride 7 but did not allow a hit.
you can't lose if you don't allow a run

Orioles game.?

Question:I was at the Orioles game last Thursday, and some guy ran on to the field. It was hilarious! I am trying to find a video. Does anybody know where it would be. Don't say try youtube, because I did. I just didn't know what to search for. Does anybody have the acual video?
Answers:

That may be hard to find. Baseball has had a policy in place for several years now not to show fans running on the field. Their reason is that fans run onto the field to get on television or just attention in general. Showing fans doing this on tv only gives them what they want, and as a result, you rarely see film of fans running across the field and getting tackled by security. MLB's reason makes sense, as NOT showing fans on the field discourages others from trying this. It would be kind of cool to see it though.

The incident in Chicago five years ago was different as it was such a horrific incident with fans beating up the Royals first base coach.
