If you be to build a cricket stadium (or baseball) that have a dome or be covered contained by some mode?
Question:How high would the dome or roof enjoy to be to avoid being ever hit by the orb? In other words, how high can a orb be hit? 300 ft?

Apex of Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN 186 ft.
Miller park Retractable Roof, Milwaukee, WI 200 ft.
There are a few baseball satdiums already near domes. These include Minute Maid Park, The Metrodome, Tropicana Field, and the Astrodome. All these ball oarks hold a roof covering the whol field. There are occasion when the ball does carry caught in the rafter but rarely ever happen.
So, I guess according to Troys answer, 200 feet would be something like right for a baseball stadium. I cant see how you would need a roof similar to that for cricket. Crickets just cant spring that high. (just kidding)
Generally, the matchless a ball will be hit surrounded by baseball is 125 feet on a lofty popup. Allowing for the roof structure, lights, etc, the roof probably needs to be abut 175 foot. In the limited cricket match I've watched, I've never see a ball hit that giant, so I imagine the roof could be lower

In baseball, a fielder's choice (abbreviated FC) is most habitually the act of a fielder, upon field a batted orb, choosing to try to put out one runner while in so doing allowing the batter-runner to credit to first base.
A batter who reach base soundly as the result of a fielder's choice is not credited with a hit; he is effectively charged near an out (and an at bat) just as if he have been put out himself.

A Fielder's Choice is exactly that. The fielder that field the ball chooses to throw you out or chooses to force out another baserunner.
