What are the likelihood that the Indians win the AL Central?

Question:Could they win the World Series and AL pennant too?
Answers:

Yes,I think they can. They enjoy a great starting staff, the bullpen has looked sharp so far. They are surrounded by first place and they aren't even hitting yet.If they save winning at the stride they are they will win it.
Well contrary to popular belief the central is not a strong division so they unequivocally have a fortune and will most likely win the Central. I dont reflect anyone in the A.L can suspend with the Sox though for the ALCS.
they would enjoy to go though the twins and the white sox. so its doubtful they going to know how to
I'd say 1 contained by 4.

Ballzy...the Central isn't strong? What are you basing that on...the 4 team over .500? All teams except the Royals have champion records vs. the other divisions. If the interior isn't strong, I'd hate to reflect on what the east and west are.
Well I think they own the best offense in the division, and the pitching isn't that impossible either. It definitly won't be graceful because Minnesota, Detroit, and Chicago are all playoff caliber team as well.

I feel it will come down to which team can stay clean. Right now I focus they are the healthiest of the teams, so that will definitly facilitate them out.

I'd give them more or less a 30% chance of successful the division, 40% chance of making the playoffs.

They might know how to win the AL pennant, but I don't like their likelihood in the World Series if they carry their. Hafner will either no be capable of play in a few of the games, or he will be playing 1st underneath, and I'm not sure which would hurt them more.

No matter what they will be fun to survey this year.

It is a possibility. However, within are still four months left surrounded by the regular season. Ask me again when it is late September.
Id influence its between them and the twins.
The first poster is on drugs.
Just because Boston whips on NYY doesn't translate to them doing it to the Central. After Josh Beckett Boston staff is totally beatable--even Schilling.
Indians???
Facts:
1. A tough month---horrid weather,inconsistent rota,home games played in other city.1st place anyhow
2. 6-2 vs the Twins and Chicago
3. 7-1 surrounded by series played
4. Indians are playing average baseball and in 1st place
5. Indians are not hitting a lick and within 1st place
6. Fausto Carmona who dominates Twins and O's for 16 innings allows 3 runs combined and beats Johan Santana isn't apt enough to be Indians #5 next to Cliff Lee back. That's depth
7. Oh did I mention...15-17 win per year Cliff Lee is back, and added a latest pitch
8. Indians bullpen thus far has be revamped and outstanding
9. The bench is one of MLB strongest
10. Wait until Sizemore,Peralta,Barfield heat up at the dish
11. This troop is only going to gain better as the year goes on.
This self said--I like Cleveland and Twins to contest it out for the Central. Central has represented the A.L. contained by World Series last 2 years...streak continues beside Twins or Indians. 14-8 in a grating poor playing month for Cleveland shows me they can run away with this article. Don't expect Indians to back down from Boston or anyone else.
Oh and some poster said something more or less Hafner at 1st? He can play 1st...Garko (mean bat) Dh's as well.
They'll crumble and finish 2nd or 3rd trailing the Twins & Tigers.
Well I like the Twins in recent times cause im a Twins supporter lol. Cleveland is a good squad though, they have a perfect shot at winning it. I close to the Twins winning the Central and the Indians taking the extreme card, Chicago and Detroit are just not biddable enough this year, and the Twins and Indians will engagement it out like Tigers and twins later year
they are pretty good this yera. i hope they do. inhabitants say they own a good kismet this year
Don't listen to the Blow Sux fans,They suck, newly BC their in 1st place doesn't have it in mind their gonna stay there! LOL LOL they other crumble in July!! And the indians can see their butts on any given sunday!! indians have a great luck winning the Al pennant and the world series!! Stupid blow sox fan forget baseball is a 6 month game,Your troop can make it only like any other troop can!! Last yr should say plenty!! Yankees and Mets finish in 1st place! The Cards pocket it all!
Being contained by 1st place now or even within OCT means CRAP!

Soriano playing 2nd bottom?

Question:Soriano has played a couple games at 2nd remains this season, so i was wondering why at hand isn't an option for him to play 2nd underneath? Do you know if there is an amount of innings that they enjoy to play in charge for them to be able to play that posision?
Answers:

Are you discussion Fantasy Baseball? If so, for Yahoo a player has to start 5 games or appear contained by 10 games at a position to be elibigle at that position. It's different for other sites like ESPN.
They can switch him to that position at any time they want. They enjoy a good second baseman so it doesnt come across likely for them to do that unless here is a day bad needed somewhere along the way. Soriano is not a honest defensive player at any position really.
He's with the sole purpose started one game at second this season:

http://www.baseball-reference.com/s/sori...

Yahoo and other a story sites usually won't qualify a guy at any position until they have something like five starts.
Soriano has played 1 inning of 1 winter sport at 2B this season as part of a belatedly game caring switch. With Mark DeRosa and Ryan Theriot on the roster, it's not likely that Soriano will see significant time at 2B. In reality, it's unlikely that he's sees much time at any position excluding LF. He is a defensive liability no concern where he plays, and LF is the most minuscule demanding, limiting the negative impact his preventative play has on the Cubs games. It will be better, also, for him to stay within the same position adjectives year where he can gain comfort and confidence.
Soriano come up as a Shortstop with the Yankees. His field prompted a move to 2nd base, next to the idea anyone it would be easier for him to play. After it became adjectives to the Yankees that he was not the answer at 2B, they moved him to the OF. His disagreeable skills far out-weigh his inability to play defense. There seems to be no amount of innings that are going to see this skill with Soriano. He have the makings of the most athletic DH ever.
A manager can play any player at any position he chooses. There are no requirements. In olden times, I have see a pitcher put into the outfield because the manager considered necessary to bring in a nouns pitcher to face one batter. Since the other pitcher be still in the winter sport, he was competent to return to the mound and complete the game.

Chow!!
Fantasy-wise the guy above have it correct for Yahoo -- start 5 or play 10.

Soriano ended up have to borrow a glove and play second for the first time since 2005 because Lou was trying to win what become an extra inning game by pinch hitting Cliff Floyd for Cesar Izturis contained by the bottom of the ninth inning. It was shield of the old "play for the win at home and the tie on the road" axiom.

It is notably unlikely we will see it happen again unless the Cubs find themselves surrounded by that type of situation. Thankfully, the Cubs won that game and Soriano be not tested.

Do you conjecture the Indians will win their protest?

Answers:

They might be able to but I'm not sure.
yes, because you can't append runs from 3 innings ago!!

GO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!...
no, because the score would not enjoy been artificial if the right ruling had be made, and also since it would not have contracted the outcome of the game
nope
After losing 7-4 why do they still want to protest the activity? It was individual a 1-run mistake. If the Indians lost 5-4 then they would win the protest. It is a moot point immediately.
Yes! It's clear that the run scored long beforehand the forced double play. If you've noticed the umpire throughout the majors so far this season has be awful.
I just saw the play on mlb.com and wonder where on earth the protest is.

1 Out. runners on corners. caught fly ball. runner from third touches home back third out ( which is an appeal play not a force out) is recorded. Thus the run counts. It is the responsibility of the umpire to rectify the mistake made by the oofficial scorer at the time it is noticed, not at the time of occurance. Even if the Indians do formally folder the protest, they will not win because the umpires are correct.
Given the correction that be made was the right one even if it be 3 innings later I would guess they will not win the appeal.

Do you regard MLB should own a special ceremony if Barry breaks Hank Aaron's home run dictation?

Answers:

Yes, they should. Look, I dislike Bonds very much and I infer he took away the authenticity of the game(with some help from others). But, you own to realize that with or short chemicals, he did contribute to it on his own. He did not always lug steroids. Who knows? Maybe it be just one year that he did(when he broke the single season home run text like it be nothing). What I am trying to say is that he will draw from a ceremony whether we all ** going on for it or not. Let's all basically acknowledge the obvious and verbs with the baseball season and the hours of discussion over this situation.
Yes i do
yes with needles and cream for everyone
Yeah, they definatly should, Barry Bonds is already a baseball fairy tale, it would be disrepectfull not to if he did.
NO! HE IS A CHEATER! NO ONE CARES!
No - Barry's a loser and I firmly believe he took the 'roids. I just despise how it's been turned into a national thing when it really doesn't thing what color he is. He broke MLB rules and possibly the law and should be punished resembling anyone else.
I am sure there will be.. even though it is adjectives to most people that Bonds have enjoyed some unnatural growth (just look at the size of his lead... nuff said).. there have been no concrete info that he did cheat..

Baseball loves to be proud with special awards and adjectives that mess and gotten away from the game.. I pesronally can't stand Bonds, but next again I am a Dodgers fan and dislike all the Giants, but again, I also don't really present to squats what an athlete does to his own body.. they will deal beside the ramifications eventually.
Yea a Public Drug assessment then followed by a Lifetime restriction.
maybe possibly not. In some ways, it would be wrong to do that because of his steroid use and his use of a corked bat. But it would be somewhat disrespectful for there to be no ceremony, I regard as they should either impart him the ceremony and NOT put him in the entry of fame, or vice versa.
Of course - adjectives fans contained by attendance should receive needles and syringes, HGH, and a year's supply of the cream and the clear.
I hope not, he's all juiced up. what's the point of celebrate an achievement consummate with some production enhancers.
And do what, give Bonds a valise of syringes?
I hope they do and if they plan to do so, it's criticized by fans and medium alike.

How many home runs should Bonds be legitimately credited next to?
He may be approaching the #, but you have to digit that beating his profession record by 24 (73 vs 49), he have the benefit of those 30 (or so) followed by 10, 12, 15 more in subsequent years.

It puts him at 67 smaller amount than he actually have and he has in the order of 78 legit home runs to go to give a hiding the record. Then, you can honour him.

If it didn't relieve him in some passageway, he wouldn't have done it.
There will be a short lull during the game to acknowledge it.

The entity is. If he breaks it on the road, will the fan boo the entire time of the ceremony?
No
No!!!!!! I can't be any clearer or adamant than that!!

Chow!!
adjectives these ppl crack me up saying he's a cheater, where on earth was it within the baseball rule book that steroids were off the record? B/c as far as I know it was individual a rule in football and how bout adjectives those other players who have admit to using but they get not even partially the attention Bonds does, he'll break the record and they'll large it and I'll be cheering right along with adjectives the other Giants fans when he does, b/c not a soul can dispute what a Great player he is and how much attention he has brought to the winter sport of baseball
GO GIANTS!! GO BARRY
Yes, they will and I can't wait!
756 756 756 756 756 756 756!!!!
