Will Dale Murphy ever receive it to the HOF?

Question:back to wager on MVP's in the 80's
All star
Gold gloves
Answers:

I can't stand the Braves but Murphy deserves to be surrounded by the Hall of Fame. He was a devout clutch hitter on some crummy Atlanta teams. he played the spectator sport the way it be meant to be played. If Ryne Sandberg is within, Murphy should be too.
he should
unfortunately not, the sports writers are come to a point minded and the players have NEVER voted anybody surrounded by
he was a worthy player back within the day. hopefully the voters will eventually put him within. i think he deserves to be contained by.
nope...one dimensional and short lived
I hope he does. he played on some bad Braves team yet still manage to hit nearly 400 and win two MVP awards. Throw in his stellar safety and awesome personality and he should hold been within by now.
I hope not, because he would be a honest "yardstick" player for baseball. Kind of like that entry at the amusement park that says, "You must be this high-ceilinged to go on this ride." In this skin, it would be, "You must be better than this player to get into the HOF."
Nothing personal against Murph, I in recent times don't see him as a HOFer. He didn't even hit 400 HRs. . . .
No. His career took a sharp downturn during his later few seasons, and knees problems shut it down altogether. Not quite plenty for the Hall.
no.
Very good cross-question and he should make it. He be the team for the longest time.
I would approaching to see him voted into the Hall of Fame.

Players should also have a voice on selctions, not in recent times the sports reporters.
Whether he deserves it or not, he'll never get plenty votes and the election committee won't bring him.

If the ancient wrigley feild be torn down would the CUBS still hold alike benevolent of popularity they do today

Answers:

Who cares...Go White Sox!
i doubt it
no.
If Wrigley pasture is ever torn down, that would be a major lost surrounded by sport's history. Still, being a die harsd Cub enthusiast, my loyalty won't change. Some illusion would be lost, but still, GO CUBS!
Not if they don't have a biddable team when it's torn down.
You'd own some upset fans for sure but the area doesn't make the troop or the fans. Cub fan will always saturate the park.
yes, as long as the built the new stadium within the same exact place. It's resembling an event going to see a game nearby. It's not so much the ball park but adjectives the bars around it and the race. I do however think it should be rebuild with some similarities, close to the brick and hedges.
Well it depends, theyre legendary for their day games, so if they stoped playing home morning games they would loose popularity, also the ivy is trademark
Good question. Answer-yes. Cubs fan are part of a inter-city rivalry near the White Sox. North vs South. This will always save the fan underpinning fairly rabid. As for concerns in connection with the eclectic and historic stadium-don't worry. New stadiums very soon are being built beside a retro look but also with modern comforts so a fresh stadium won't scare loyals away. The Cubs popularity also exists contained by it's loveable losers identity. If they continue to dissapoint, the loveable losers mystique will be enhanced. Don't verbs about Cubs popularity too much.

Doctahh Natedawgg
I believe Wrigley Stadium is a designated historical highlight, which means that it CAN'T be torn down.

The club and the stadium are two different things. WHy wouldn't they be a short time ago a popular as today?
Yes!
They wouldn't, but Reva P is right.

It is designated a landmark by the city of chicago, so it cannot be torn down.

How impossible are the red sox going to lose surrounded by the playoffs this year?

Question:are they even going to go to the playoffs
Answers:

The Yankees are coming. they hold been complacent of slow but with adjectives of the talk that Torre may be fired they are on a mission. The red sox are history.
Don't you mull over its a little rash to be asking that now?
I hope they form the playoffs, and maybe even win the division, so that track the Yankees can take them down surrounded by the playoffs.

The Yankees r coming, just survey.
haha, nice try. The Red Sox are made for the playoffs with that rotation and Papelbon.
Yeah, they should trademark the playoffs. With the pitching and offense they have right immediately, there's no reason whatsoever not to. 3 strong starters and 2 solid closers; Ortiz, Manny, etc... They'll hopefully, and predictable, (if things remain constant), represent the AL in the WS.
trust me, they are not gonna win a world series for a PRETTY LONG TIME. Trust me.
hahaha u really nouns like an unaware and obnoxious yankee fan that u are.yankee fan just shouldnt be discussion right now.their pitching staff is on gait of being the worst within MLB history.and yes the redsox will make the playoffs. and if the yankees dont turn it around, they will not net the playoffs.they,ve lost 8 of their last 9 games and they,ve given up at least possible 5 runs in respectively of those games(how awful).on the other hand the redsox enjoy the best record surrounded by baseball their pitching is one of the top in baseball, including the bullpen near a dominant closer in jonathan papelbon, the offense own proved that it can score runs.not to malfunction the redsox, but if they do make the playoffs keep under surveillance out!!! the yankees are a hot mess right now. they,re pitching stinks and they,re even chitchat about firing joe torres when its not even his condemn.i cant blame u for saying that the yankees will build the playoffs becuz ur just conversation the way a "yankee" admirer would.but if i were u i wouldnt depend so much on your yankees to bring in it through this year.

Under ASA softball rules, does an umpire hold to audibly phone an infield fly, or is a foot motion sufficient?

Question:if it does have to be audible, does it hold to be loud enough for say aloud the third base coach to hear it if the umpire is inbetween first and second
Answers:

Players and coaches are expected to know the situation. An umpire is supposed to audibly beckon the infield fly, but even if he doesn't, it's still in effect, although he may rectify any situation where on earth runners are placed in jeopardy by his downfall to call it.
It should be both a foot motion and audible.
Ha, sounds like someone have an incident during a game.

First, yes, it should be audible. Second, this is typically the plate umpire's christen, not the base umpire. Finally, you shouldn't own someone coaching third base if they are unknown with the rule. They should know that it is an infield fly situation minus the umpiring have to yell it.
Was the orb caught? If so, IF does not matter.
It should be an audible and detectable signal. But the situation dictates it, not the judgment.
Great Question ASA is my favorite league to play!

First the umpire should ring up the play.

Second he should show the signal.

Third if he has a problem reading the telephone, or awsering it he SHOULD call relieve from the other blue to evaluate the call of the play made.

I hope this help
