Tori Hunter
Johan Santana
Justin Morneau
Joe Mauer
Torii Hunter contained by centerfield is great.
well within not a twins fan but if i have to pick santana cuz hes an amazing picture prolly one of the best right now contained by baseball...
Mauer was truly a #1 pick. Very few jar out to be as good as he is.
As a die-hard Yankees enthusiast, Sidney Ponson- possibly the most opponent-friendly player in baseball!
Even though im a Yankee adherent.my favorite player on the Twins is Joe Mauer.oh and he's really hott too...lol. GO YANKEES!
Joe Mauer...hands down. It's a shame how Torii Hunter run his mouth on ESPN Friday night maxim the chances of him coming put a bet on to Twins are slim and none...Hunter is soild-but he isn't even the best CF in the division anymore. Mauer is solid defensively---extremely polite hitter who could constantly hit .320 and up...nice extra base hitter--although his power is not up to par beside the likes of Victor Martinez--in common he's a better catcher and by far the Twins MVP
Rangers predictions?
Question:How will the rangers do this year hopefully we can hold that good partially year we always hold but make it end all year does the topical manager hold the touch to do that?
Answers:
That division is wide spread out and anyone can win it.I don't think the Rangers can knob the A's or Angels but who knows?I see them conquering 85 but falling in 3rd astern the A's and Angels.
They are decent at best, i'd say-so no more than 86 wins
I voice .500 if your lucky. they are kindof weak within the pitching department after Millwood.
The Rangers will continue their time-honored tradition of sucking this season.
Not satisfactory pitching my man, sorry.
McCarthy was a nice extra (but at the cost of John Danks, a much better prospect and a lefty)
I would guess a record of 77-85, right for 3rd place in the AL West.
most promising 3rd place

Question:How can a batter foul tip a ball next to it going straight back to the catcher's mit and not be out, but foul tip a orb (like a pop fly), have someone fence in it and they're out?
Answers:
It's because the MLB rules state that a foul tip is considered to be no different than a regular strike, thus meaning that a caught foul tip is contained by play, except on a third strike.
They define a foul tip as "a bat ball that go sharp and direct from the bat to the catcher’s hands and is officially caught," so that's how they make the distinction in the region of the difference between a strike (foul tip) and an out (foul fly).
Good question - When I be a kid, we always have arguments about this one during sandlot games.
It is an out if the batter have two strikes. A foul tip is considered a regular thrown ball. Look at it this approach. A foul tip would be more like a swing and a miss.
If it is the third strike, it is an out. But if it isn't, the foul must be in motion above the batters commander to be considered a foul pop fly.
The rule is something like that it must turn over the batters boss to be called out.other sage it is a foul tip and unless he has two strikes afterwards it is an out.that is my interpretation from my Little League days (50 yrs ago).not sure on the certified ruling..
A foul tip with 2 strikes is a strike out. But your second scenario isn't a foul tip, it's a foul pop-up, and that's treated as any fly bubble would be - where a ambush is a catch is an out.
mickey is unquestionably correct. it does have to walk in the air/above batter head to be considered a pop up and not a foul tip.
CAUGHT CLEANLY a foul tip is considered a swing and miss. On strike 3 you're out. The globe is in play, significance runner may steel, or be piked off by the catcher, minus tagging up. If the catcher bobbles the ball at adjectives, it's not considered a swing and miss. If bobbled yet caught on strike 3 the hitter is out but on no bobbled foul tip may runners finance.
