Does anyone remember if and when Lance Parrish hit a huge(maybe GS) at Tiger Stadium as an away player?
Answers:
Parrish hit four homers at Tiger Stadium as a visiting player, two contained by 1991 (both solo) and two in 1990 (one be solo). So you're probably thinking of his grand slam on 17-June-1990, which turned a 3-0 organize into a 7-0 edge, which eventually finished in a 7-3 win for the Angels.

1990 he hit a opulent slam when he played for the angels..

Answers:
I'm in downtown Manhattan at work right very soon and the rain have let up abundantly. I was supposed to be going to the spectator sport tonight as well, so let hope it stays on. If the rain is gone, they may outstandingly well play.
Lets Go Mets!
At this point, it's still on. Check the local radio and/or TV for more information as it get closer to gametime. That's all you can do.

Question:uhmm me and my friend are doing a bet on the series and we dont want to do the bet w/ money or switching switching shirts
Answers:
hello mxzrider628, what a good time so far: boston 3 suckers 0
go red sox, budge stuff them in near own yard, only just dont get better than that
Run within the street naked
Not sure the examine here.. I so go next to shaving the losers head.
Red Sox nation is the devil.
Doctahh Natedawgg
In a ordinary year, looking at the pitching matchups, I would have said the Yankees sweep. This year though they suck so discouraging so I will say Yanks win 2 Sox win 1.
I own no idea what the press is. . .Bet something else. Loser buys dinner or something.
Based on the stats so far this year i would go RedSox. I dont approaching Sox or Yanks. And the loser of the bet has to progress to a Boston game wearing a Yanks jeresy or Yanks activity with a Boston Jersey (wear a bullett proof vest beneath the jersey)
Is in attendance a better pitching staff than the giant starters?
Question:Zito, Cain, Morris, Lowry, Lincecum
lets see if any squad can top that, oh yeah and PROVE IT!
Answers:
records and stats do not inform what happened during the team game.
I think the Giants hold one of the best rotations in the league right presently. Lincecum beat Roy Oswalt TWICE and everybody else is pitching resourcefully right now.
To that guy that said Lincecum is nobody: he be a nobody during his MLB debut, but he is somebody right now and i guarantee you.adjectives the teams are taking thought.
umm redsox for example even the whitesox look at the records
Im a big yankee follower but boston got a great pitching dash up... and yankees will have Pettite,Mussina, Clemens,Wang contained by two weeks
ok
but can they show offense enough to run next to it?
(and please don't use the 'b' word)
GO GIANTS!
too bad SF's bat are dead.
Yeah, near are a few teams who are better. The Giants big problem is that they deficiency a true ace, since Zito obviously isn't up to the duty. I don't think they even hold the best staff in the NL West tolerate alone all of baseball. My pick would be San Diego. They hold a true ace in Peavy and the rotation can stir 6 deep when everyone is fighting fit. Add to that the dynamite pen anchored by the all-time saves captain and you have the makings of a great staff. I would pilfer Boston and Oakland (when they are all healthy) over the Giants too. I'd put SF contained by the top 5, but they just don't own the bullpen or depth of startes that those three teams enjoy.
Well ill pass it to the redsox at this point, but when schilling and beckett get injured (around July) afterwards yea fo sho the giants are the best. They own two bonafide power hurlers in cain and lincecum. The richest pitcher ever (who is a great number 3), A especially nice change up/change of gait pitcher like Lowry, and Matt Morris as a number 5, he have the most wins on the troop!
Um the Red Sox,. Besides the Fact of Julian Tavarez, they have one of the best pitching league. Schilling, Matsazuka, Beckett, Wakefield, and Tarvarez, They are 9 and a half games up because of their pitching. Their bat and fielding are helping the pitchers but if they didn't own Schilling, they probably wouldn't have won the World Series within 2004 so there's your answer!
i dont know, but the giants rock!~
The Giants own the 5th best starting rotation right now according to the numbers:
Team ERA for starters:
Oakland A's
LA Angels
San Diego Padres
NY Mets
SF Giants
How's that for proof?
Yeah rationale Zito is overrated, Cain is also not as good as he be supposed to be, Morris is washed up, Linecum is a nobody, and Lowry is only an average pitcher. If the Giants had the best pitching staff, the Giants would enjoy the best record within the NL right now. But they dont and that's why they arent even contained by first in the NL West. The best pitching staff surrounded by the majors right now is the Padres. Anchored by the best pitcher within the NL Jake Peavy, the Padres have the lowest troop ERA in the majors, the least possible amount of homers given up, and are in the top 5 contained by every other major pitching category.
If you are simply talking in the order of starters, I believe that the Angels have the best rotation of starters.
They own 2 Aces in John Lackey and Bartolo Colon.
Followed by solid pitchers such as; Jered Weaver, Kelvim Escobar and Ervin Santana
Brewers
Soup
Sheets
Cappy
Bush
Vargas
As of today here are the six team who's pitching staffs are better than the Giants as far as ERA:
1. Padres
2. A's
3. Mets
4. Red Sox
5. Dodgers
6. Angels
In WINS there are 10 team with better staffs:
1. Red Sox
2. Tigers
3. Mets
4. Angels
5. Brewers
6. Indians
7. Braves
8. Dodgers
9. Padres
10. D-Backs
Take a look at the stats.
Yanks, Ded Sox, Tigers, Angels, ...
Its a great rotation and Im still wacky the Yankees didnt shell out for Zito, but Morris is overrated. He will collapse after the all star break resembling he always does, and Lincecum doesnt own enough experience however.
The only troop that might be close pitching wise within the NL is the Padres.
Braves if Hampton was thriving.
Mets can pitch AND hit, unlike the giants.
Sox...RED unsurprisingly. Schilling, Beckett, Dice, Wakefield, Tavarez. I hate Tavarez, but dude have been bloodshed everyone lately. The best way to see that the Sox are the best is that they enjoy the best record, and the fewest innings pitched by the bullpen contained by MLB. Beckett is about to acquire healthy, and they own Lester making another start in AAA to complete his cancer salvage, then they will be loaded. And as for the Yanks, Clemens get shelled in AA, and stumbled thru his A orb start. Pettite is old, Mussina is elder, and only Wang have done anything for them in the final year or so. These guys are all gonna find old at like time, and all the run support surrounded by the world (which they will get) won't be any help to them. I do close to the Lincecum kid, but I don't think that Morris and Lowry are adjectives that.
