Reva P beat me to the punch. George Will would be, by far, the best choice to run baseball. I don't know of anyone who know and more importantly understands the team game better than he. He has a remarkable perspective on the team game. The down side to all of this is that the owners would want complete control as they own now near Selig. George Will is a man of integrity so I'm afraid most team owners would not be in motion along with George Will's appointment. Frankly Will may be baseball's single hope.

I don't know if he'd make a pious commisioner or not, but he's a good president!
George Will would be an excellent choice. He's a chief baseball fan, who have written some very, incredibly good books on the subject. He's also a serious reporter/investigator, who is more than au fait with the political scene adjectives around, and would therefore also be a obedient liaison between the two.

Andy MacPhail would be an excellent choice. He have experience with small souk teams (Minnesota) and full-size market team (the Cubs). He has respect for the winter sport and comes from a family who have long been involved surrounded by the game. He also seem to be a consensus builder, in the mode of Selig, and I contemplate his intents would be good. The owners would not be threatened by him. I imagine he would do well.

I'm a Yankee enthusiast and I never get cracked. You wanna know why? Cause we've managed to receive the playoffs every year. We're not the only ones who pay cheque huge money (See the Red Sox, Cubs, Rangers, Angels etc). So you can throw that try to buy championships bull out the glass!

A true supporter follows there troop even if they suck. If you kick a junk can over, out comes 10 Yankee (suppose) fans and out of the 10, one is a true follower.
Well this year is not over yet man. Let me remind you that you are also chitchat about a troop that has more championship than anyone else ever. Trust me I don't like the Yankees at adjectives. You still have to respect their account though. Their fans don't similar to it because they are used to WINNING! They still have one of the most hopeful line ups contained by Baseball. If their pitching turns around early satisfactory they can still be competitive.

becuase they won 27 world series and are viewed as the best sports troop ever. Also, their payroll is about $200 million every year. I'd capture mad too considering the Cardinals won the world series end year with rather less than a $100 million payroll, Chicago Whitesox won the World Series on a $75 million dollar payroll 2 years ago, the Marlins (who the Yankees faced) own the lowest payroll out of all 30 MLB team and won 3 years ago. Not to mention, all their money get wasted by giving it to bums who don't play (Pavano) and those who can't hit when it counts (A-Rod, but not as of late)

In baseball I think they run the 60yd dash, or that is their main speed number. I would still say pods is faster. But Reyes is faster still and joey gathright ran like a 6.1 or 6.2 60yd dash, thats the fastest ive ever heard of.
