Picking up Joel Zumaya?

Question:Zumaya is in the free agency contained by my fantasy league i know he closed out a spectator sport last week. Is his spot contained by the closer role permanent immediately or will Wickman stil have it. Is it worth dropping someone form my bench to thieve him?
Answers:

For one, Wickman is on the Braves, Zumaya is on the Tigers.

Todd Jones is still listed as the closer next to Zumaya as his setup man.

If you own Jones, then pick up Zumaya as insurance. Otherwise keep on it out...
He hit 100+ more than 200 times last year. No other pitcher hit 100 more than 20 times. Take that into consideration.
todd jones is the closer for the tigers at this time.In the adjectives they plan on using zumaya as the closer when jones retires.
I have him on one of my rosters,if you are looking for a reliever for strikeouts per inning he does thoroughly well, but will singular pitch 1 or 2 innings at most. The tigers starting pitching has be very angelic this year and the offense is strong. If you can't find a pitcher with any save then thieve him incase jones get's injured. In that case he will do in good health.
Zumaya will help lower your team's ERA and support raise your team's SO's. Plus, if your league keep track of holds, you should definitely pick up Zumaya. With the Tigers great starting pitching and offense, Zumaya should find the ball near the lead contained by plenty of games.
first of all, its todd jones closing for the tiges. regardless, GET Z-MAN! even if he doesnt hold over closer role, (which i think he will), he will contribute, k's, era, lash, 2, 3, times a week. (and a save ever presently and then) middle/set-up men are undervalued within typical 5X5 fantasy formats. i would incorporate him and also suggest you see if scott shields is available.
Zumaya will not be a closer this year unless Todd Jones gets injured. I own him on my fantasy troop, but he's really only accurate for WHIP,K's, and ERA. Base your decision on what stats you requirement. Expect only around 5 save for the whole season because Rodney and Mesa will also steal some opportunity away after Jones pitches two straight days.

Who do you dream up will win NL MVP for this year?

Question:now be honest don't only just say the best player on your favorite troop!
I think Albert Pujols is going to win MVP!
Answers:

i agree i estimate albert pujols will win because he is just an outstanding palyer and deserves to win it...not some other guy on steroids
too precipitate to tell. AL ftw. dance A's
a-rod
felix pie
Barry Bonds cause he is a faultfinder
I think Jose Reyes is gonna win it. Sure, Pujols will start performing but Reyes get every stat on the board and is the best all-around player in the history of the spectator sport.

(I'm a Yankees fan so no fav.tism toward Jo-Rey)

A-Rod AL MVP (10 homers surrounded by 14 games)
Well i think Pujols can win it but if he doesn't come out of his mini slump soon he may slop short of it. And yeah right now to rash to tell but i close to Pujols chance if he starts hitting close to last year. Ever later years MVP Howard isn't doing anything yet this year and hes injuried right presently so this is a big chance for Albert Pujols beside Howard hurt
I'm gonna say Jose Reyes. He's the catalyst for the entire Mets offense. He steals basis, hits for average, has some power and will be one of the league leaders contained by extra base hits and runs score. But because guys like that are passed over surrounded by the voting for the big power hitters (because homeruns are more exciting) he'll have to really outshine adjectives the other NL players this year.
Ryan Howard

He is evalving into a great hitter, he should bring a great year to the phillies. He is really young, so he have a lot of time to advance his great skills.

FYI, I am an die hard yankees lover, so that's not "my favorite playor on my favorite team"
I have to put in my vote for Albert Pujols. He is consistently excellent and always posts great numbers, plus the Cardinals are other competitive.

Ryan Howard could make a run, but I don't infer he will meet the numbers he have put up over the last two years. Plus if the Phillies underperform that may count against him.
Ken Caminitti
Pujols, undoubtedly. best player contained by the last 50 years.
Go Cards!
The same guy that SHOULD hold won it last year, Pujols!! Should be 3 surrounded by a row.

CHC 3 0 0.41 3 3 0 0 0 0
IP H R ER HR HBP BB K
22.0 8 1 1 1 0 7 18

Mmkkthxbii.
Jose Reyes, NYMets.

Arguably the best in the team game right now.
The lone tool he lacks is power; otherwise he's the perfect player. Solid hitter, beside outstanding speed and defense.
it's a no brainer....first of all how can you really say-so pujols if you are watching the games. i am from st. louis and the cardinals are my favorite team. He is bat below 200 he is dropping thrown balls contained by the infield. He has never have good nouns with runners at third and smaller quantity than 2 out in any season. He a short time ago isnt much in the clutch. I construe he will finish the year near 300 near 40-50 hrs but will not be the mvp this year nor any year that bonds plays 150+games. every night i turn from the cardinal hobby to the 9 o'clock starting time giant game during the week. Pujols can finish the season beside a 300 avg. and 50 hrs. and bonds can finish the season with 300 avg and 50 hrs. and bonds is still much much more imposing. Did you see pujols swing at the ball over his guide today? Did you see pujols drop and thrown ball yesterday chest dignified and then didnt pick the subsequent one from the dirt?? do you see him chase balls out of the strike zone adjectives the time because he is totally fooled?? Did you see him completely lose his mind the other night and try to steal home? You once in a blue moon see bonds make a mistake. He never leaves the strike zone and seldom looks fruitless at the plate. Todd Helton once said in an interview that he and adjectives the other mlb players are like little leaguers playing surrounded by bonds league.

Do you construe Dice-K is worth the money that Boston spent on him?

Answers:

Absolutely. $50 mil of it doesn't even count against the cap. Dice K certainly got jipped when it comes to his stipend, he deserves alot more considering what Zito got. It be a no brainer.
No. He isn't that good. Soon he will start his decline. Definitely not worth it surrounded by the long run. It would have be better if they invested in a much younger player.
No route! No one is worth that kind of money. Nobody.
not a soul is worth that kind of money.i am still trying to numeral that one out...and the whole worshipping piece this town is doing over him when he has not even proven himself all the same.i dont get it! immediately if he brings us to world series...yeah...i will be worshipping him too! but i still dont think he is worth adjectives that money.
No Way!! nobody is, not even Felix Hernandez, by the way how'd he do against your beloved Sox ending week?
Oh yeah, almost got the NO-NO!
No. No one is worth the money Boston spent on him.
Only time will update. But so far, so good.
To be worth the money they spent on him he requirements to go 45-3 next to a 0.36 ERA.
No he is very honourable but hes not worth that kind of money he will never suceeded the talent of a 2nd or first starter contained by a rotation
he's worth all that and a shoulder bag of chips
No professional athlete should be paid the bucks they are making. That is another story, and for the currant open market, he should be one of the higher compensated pitchers. He has potential to excess within the big leagues. Look at some of the contracts throwns at Pavano and Kevin Brown, amoung others. ith the open market for pitchers, he deserves it.
Too early to give an account, he has merely pitched 2 games so far, he hasn't pitched in a big activity yet so it is impossible to relate. He could go undefeated the rest of the opening and that would be worth the money for sure or he could go .500 the rest of the approach in which grip he wouldnt be worth the money. Really, he has not have enough starts even so to answer this question though. I have an idea that he has be worth themoney, he has pitched extremely in good health and could be 2-0 if the Red Sox could have score runs in his second start.
Only if he win them a world series! The price that they payed for him is ridiculous! If he goes into any type of slump he and the Red Sox should be criticized!
Overtime Yes
