Why didn't Cal Ripkin, Jr receive 100% of the ballot for board room of celebrity?
Question:So, Cal Ripkin will be inducted this year into the hall of popularity after receiving 537 out of 545 votes, which is the 3rd absolute percentage of all time.
But it's easier said than done for me to understand why he didn't receive 100% of the votes. Did those 8 race not cast the ballot? Cal Ripkin, Jr played surrounded by 19 All-Star games winning 2 all-star MVPs. He be a Rookie of the Year, 2-time MVP, 8-time Silver Slugger winner, and prominently he has the diary for most consecutive games played. Plus, he hit 431 home runs, good ample for 37th place; and 3184 hits, good adequate for 14th place. And he was portion of a world series winning squad. And he's renowned as being a great role model.
Given adjectives of this - how could any writer who is casting their ballot for assembly room of fame - and maintain in mind these guys cover MLB - own not voted for him as a hall of famer?
Can someone grant me a good aim why Cal Ripkin, Jr does not deserve to be in the meeting room of fame?

The basis is some Baseball Writers with the opportunity to vote hold publicly said that they never vote for a first time player on the ballot. This suspension is BS Horry should hold been the just one suspended and if they were gonna suspend Biaw and Stoudamire Duncan and bowen should enjoy also been suspended. Just another course the screwed up NBA plays favoritism. And I dont like any team but, I especially cant stand San Antonio!!

1) no altercation when he stepped on the court
2) he remained within the vicinity of the bench, which amare and diaw(more argueable than amare)

yo...relax. Based on the conditions of the Hawks-Suns trade involving Joe Johnson and Boris Diaw, the Hawks would merely have to convey the pick to Phoenix if the pick be fourth or lower. Since the Hawks landed the third overall pick, that routine they get to hold on to the pick.
But here's the catch, very soon that the Hawks get to save their first-round pick this year, that means the Hawks must surrender their first-round pick to Phoenix within 2008, NO MATTER WHAT. So if the Hawks end up beside the first overall selection subsequent year, guess who that selection go to? Phoenix!

Alright, relax. I'm a Suns lover, but you don't see me expressing complete aggrivation. Look at the Suns, they don't necessarily need players resembling Greg Oden or Kevin Durant. There is still plenty of talent on the list of top prospects. The Suns be 61-21 this season with the players they already hold. They didn't get "robbed," they basically didn't get lucky.
