I think Oden, but you can't travel wrong with Durant any. Oden is just too big and proficient to pass over. He will be a top five center within the NBA next year as a rookie. He shot a better free throw percentage than shaq using his moved out hand cuz his wrist be broken (that doesn't make him #1, I purely think it's really funny).
It will be interesting though and I ponder some GMs would rather seize the number two pick because they get one of these two but they don't run the risk of man second guessed forever if the one they pick isn't as good as the other.

The actual choice is probably Kevin Durant, because the NBA is not as troop oriented as college, however Oden would be a smarter choice.

Kevin durant will be picked no.1.He is a creature. He can post inside or take a mid-range pullover.He also won college player of the year so more props to him.

NBA Championship team in this modern era hold required a dominant big man. You need someone who can pinch away the paint on offense and then reflection on defense.
Teams with Kevin Durant type players enjoy done worse than teams beside Greg Oden type big men. Think of Lamar Odom or Kevin Garnett. They did not have big post players down low to dominate the step of play and control the game.
On the other mitt teams next to a Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan or even Ben Wallace (in his prime) have be winning the championship. MJ and his Bulls might be an exception, but MJ is the freakiest of freak occurances and even his teams needed to part rebounders and paint players like Dennis Rodman.
Sadly unless Kevin Durant get a talented big man or glorious scoring number 2 option, Durant will become a Kevin Garnett.

Nowadays, who cares! Most top draft picks are H.S. Seniors or College Frosh/Soph, and they usually develop 3-4 years after they are drafted.

Should the NBA hold Officiating screw ups private?
Question:In the book "7 seconds or less" the author tell how the NBA keeps officiate screw ups under wraps, next to fines private and unpublicized, unlike player screwups. Coaches are even allowed to call contained by questionable plays and missed calls. Is this right? If the fan knew that official were fined for making bleak calls we might be smaller amount incensed when it happens over and over again. I conjecture it should become more publicized when they are obviously wrong.

A gifted player always get a second chance. A capable offical only get one. Also, referees do not receive million dollar endosement deal.
Yes, it should be kept private, because the officials depend on their reputation contained by order to keep up authority on the court. The same isn't true for the players. They get fined and suspended, but when they come support, their ability to do their livelihood isn't drastically affected by their previous misconduct.
Besides, the league *does* acknowledge the worst behavior -- for example, Joey Crawford be very publicly suspended for his conduct toward Tim Duncan.

Question:I believe most Mavs fans unloved and booed Kobe than any teams. I saw several Mavs' fans booed at Kobe closing January and Mark Cuban did yell at him and right to be heard want technical foul on Kobe. My answer is Mavericks. What do you surmise who team fan hate and boo Kobe?

i still say-so Philly fans HATE kobe! they booed him rotten the floor during the all star activity when he won the MVP in 2004 i judge. Then again Sacramento Kings fans really detestation Kobe too! i don't know it's a toss up! people boo him because he's the best! or what just about the phoenix suns fans yell Kobe sucks as he exited the floor during last years playoff activity 7! that was cutting!

Philly really doesnt resembling Kobe (even though he is from there), but he only plays their once a year. the indisputable fans that dislike intensely Kobe the most are either San Antonio( because of that battle rivalry while shaq was still surrounded by LA, and that cheap shot to manu ginobli) or Phoenix (because of the Kobe vs Raja Bell rivalry). and Denver ( because of his incident a couple years back contained by that hotel room that i wont discuss anymore of)
probably Phoenix Suns.because of this Raja Bell/Kobe rivalry..i agree w/ dallas too.but Phoenix hates them more.
