BasketBall Questions and Answers
My Chicago Bulls deserves to be contained by the playoff, isnt it?! they simply fell short, right?
Question:Glorious 2008 coming for them!
Answers:
The Bulls are a team on the rise, for sure. They enjoy more young talent later any other team surrounded by the NBA. Almost every player on that team be a superstar in college and they still own the rights to the Knicks lottery pick this year, so take the current roster and incorporate another young superstar. Just think about the Knicks end up next to the top pick and the Bulls can draft Oden. That is a scary thought! They are one lawful big man and 1-2 years of experience away from winning it adjectives.
Signed,
Jealous and aggravated Knicks fan
PS - Thanks for Eddie Curry... ugh.
They did topple short, and experience won...
Next year they will be better...good luck to them within 08!
Dear Sir,
What your Bulls need is a power big man.
Sincerely,
Detroit Pistons.
Definatley! BULLS RULE.
They need to spend the right amount of money and they'll be contained by the championship surrounded by 2009. 2008 might be too early. They involve to find a star that will help them adjectives grow. Maybe Michael's son Jeffrey might the the right one to begin.
They for sure deserve to be contained by the playoffs. I think one of the biggest reason why they still aren't is because this is a very childish team and they requirement experience. When they play a team beside the experience and caliber of Detroit, they will fall short. Next year, they will do better consequently they did this year. I could seem them in the lead it in the subsequent 2-3 years
yeah. i agree. deng is very correct.
they definitely deserved to be within the playoffs. i don't think they still deserve to be, since they be beat by a superior troop. they put up a good quarrel & should have a suitable future.
ya i cogitate the only definite thing they inevitability this off season is to draft a big man who is accurate on the offensive back. the should use they have the 9,10 or 11 pick depending on the lottery the should use that to pick up a right offensive big man and subsequent year they will be a better team
yezzir
The New York Knicks deserve to be surrounded by the playoffs. They will be the champions subsequent season.
OF COURSE DEY DESERVE IT...BUT ITS ALL GOOD DEY WILL DO ALOT BETTER NEXT YR. I LIKE DEM DEY A GOOD TEAM...DEY WORKED REALLY HARD BUT FELL A LIL TOO SHORT...DEY HAD VERY GOOD COMPETITION N EXPERIENCE TOTALLY WON IT.
GO BULLS!
If superman dunks, have moved out his foot from bringing up the rear the 3 point file, does it count as 3 pts?
Question:It stands to reason that it would be a 3 point shot, because players regularly shoot drop shots starting from behind the 3 point procession, moving forward through the air in the past releasing the ball and coming down surrounded by front of the line. The solely criterion seems to be that both foot leave the ground trailing the line beforehand the ball is released. The solely thing that could brand the dunk a 2 pointer is if there is some rule that the bubble has to in fact leave the player's hand before entering the hoop. Your thoughts on this cross-question?
Answers:
asked and answered multiple times but yes it would be 3 points as it just matter where you leap from
yes it would be, depending on where the concluding step before the globe goes surrounded by was.
yes it would, if superman didn't stepover the 3 point strip before he jump it'd stil count as a 3point dunk shot
THEY MEASURE WHERE YOU JUMP FROm
Its based on where on earth you jump and the corresponding point significance to it. IIRC, Wilt Chamberlain dunks free throw shots (w/o a running start, mind you) before it be banned but since theyre free throws theyre merely worth one point.
yes its still 3.
I don't think you can read aloud for sure because it has never happen in a activity.
The rules indicate that it would count for 3 points because he was standing astern the 3 point line when he jump but they do not specifically say that a dunk still counts as 3.
See Rule no. 5 branch I part c:
"A successful pen goal attempt from the nouns outside the three-point field aspiration line shall count three points.
(1) The shooter must hold at least one foot on the floor outside the three-point grazing land goal chain prior to the attempt.
(2) The shooter may not be touching the floor on or inside the three-point field aspiration line.
(3) The shooter may contact the three-point enclosed space goal procession, or land within the two-point field aim area, after the bubble is released."
Some answerers are saying that he is not permitted to touch the rim. This is incorrect, the rules do not mention touching the rim, only touching the floor.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the main issue is subdivision 1 of the rules. If he is flying to the hoop can you say that he have his foot on the floor outside the 3 point line prior to the attempt because he does not attempt to shoot until he is right within front of the hoop.
There is a rule that says the official can decide roughly speaking anything that is not specifically covered beneath the rules. (see Rule no. 2 section III)
So it is possible that if it did develop in a winter sport it would be deemed to merely count for 2 points.
The only entity that could make the dunk a 2 pointer is if in attendance is some rule that the ball have to actually disappear the player's hands up to that time entering the hoop.
I think this is the knob, although he jump from othside the 3 pt queue but his hands touches the rim. The rim is where on earth he last touches, which is inside the 3pt arc, thus a 2pt pen goal, if superman would a moment ago do a floater or finger-roll then it is a 3pt corral goal.
If he dunked it, no. It would count as two. The globe has to be released from his appendage from the 3 point line to count as a 3. So if he took bad from the 3 point line and next finger rolled it in next it would count as a 3.
PLEASE GET A GRIP AND A LIFE.
Ginobili, Parker, and Duncan be call the best 3 player combo ever! Anyone else muse this is a quip ?!!?
Question:I think Tim Duncan is one of the best to ever play the hobby but to call them the best "big three" ever be a joke. I don't know who said it but it be a telecaster in team game 1 of the jazz / spurs playoff game.
Answers:
Can't be the best ever.
For that, at smallest two of the three must be good adequate to be an MVP candidate and consistently on the All-NBA team. And all 3 must be All-Stars.
Some of the combos already mentioned here qualify.
1. Jordan-Pippen-Rodman
2. Kareem-Magic-Worthy
3. Bird-McHale-Parrish
4. Wilt-West-Goodrich (or Baylor)
5. Malone-Stockton-Hornacek
6. Russel-Cousy-Sharman or Russel-Havlicek-Sam Jones
What almost those 70's Knicks teams? Wilis Reed-Walt Frazier-Pearl Monroe?
So it is REALLY stretching it for this Spurs trio to be call the best 3 player combo ever! Most of the guys above are Hall of Famers who were programmed in the NBA's all-time 50 greatest players! Parker and Ginobilli (who isn't even a starter) are not surrounded by that class.
So, the Spurs trio is good but not THAT honourable.
especially since i just get done watching a special on espn about the bulls.
Jordan, pippen and rodman are truly the best trio of adjectives time, they dominated their opponents.
There surrounded by the top 3 that's for sure. Maybe not the best though.
It's hyperbole. They're pretty good, but they don't compare to Magic, Worthy, and Kareem, or Bird, McHale, and Parish. I'd be in motion so far as to say they don't even compare near Jordan, Pippen, and any third guy on the Bulls' championship team.
Jabbar/Magic/Worthy an i don't even like Magic
Magic, Kareem, Worthy
Bird, Parish, McHale
Jordon, Pippen, Rodmen
and oodles more...
All tiiiiiime? Come on! Who was the telecaster? Steve Kerr? Spurs kisser! I would not travel that far. I would definitely agree near the others, pick a random three from the Bulls contained by the early 90s and you've get your best 3 player combo EVER. Talk about a dominating squad!
I agree that it's kind of unnatural to call them a Big 3, but they call Kukoc part of the Bulls "big three" so I won't rule it out. However, the best 3 player combo ever would categorically be pushing it. Bulls big three was accurate (Jordan, Pippen, Kukoc), while not big on the inside like Duncan is, it did its career really well, arguably, I would read aloud their comparable, but not necessarily better to the original Jazz big 3 (Stockton, Malone, Hornaceck), while Duncan is bigger on the inside than Malone on defense, Malone could still rack up at will, Stockton I feel have better passing and court daydream than Parker, and Hornaceck has a comparable if better shot than Manu. Back in the heyday Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, and Detleff Shremf be pretty good too, later there's Ewing, Sprewell, and Houston, etc... Anybody could be a Big 3 then from the sounds of it (Reggie Miller, Dale Davis, and Jalen Rose even).
im a spurs enthusiast and i think at hand in the top 10 but its get 2 be jordan pippen rodman or what about run tmc feature tim hardaway mitch ritchmond and chris mullin
They are the best we have see since the jordan days
no way, if you freshly look at big 3s in the assembly room of fame, you hold:
kareem, magic, worthy
bird, parish, mchale
wilt, west, goodrich
russell, cousy, sharman
I did hear them read out that and that is base on stats, not longevity. Tony Parker and Ginobili are great players, but they do not even break my top 250. To truly give a statement to this , you should single refer to retired players, so you can look at there adjectives career.
So my favorite is Jonh Stockton, Karl Malone, And Jeff Hornacek. NO ring but they did the entity! BUt I do not think Hornacek will ever receive the Hall of Fame with his fellow Jazz brethen
I would read out if they could win a few more together, maybe, but not immediately
An epic series: Cleveand vs Detroit: Don't miss it,
Forest D. Bynum
They're probably not the best trifecta ever but they are the best "big 3" right now.
I'm sorry but Shaq Kobe Eddie Jones be one of the best if not the best the trio surrounded by the league
umm yea no. theres plaenty other big three combos. john stockton hornececk and malon were better. kobe shaq and horry better. nash marion and amre. mj pippen rodman better. theres plenty more i jus cant suppose of at the moment. there fitting but not the best ever.
no nash marion an amare are not better, they just get beat by us. Im a spurs supporter, an i say their the best 3 contained by the league now, but not adjectives time. malone an stockton an that other guy dont come close, because NOTHING but championships matter. thats why they will one day be the best 3 ever (im wise saying, as a fan, that their gonna win a few more rings), because rodman wasn't surrounded by chicago for most of their championships. but the point is, their not really a 3. we have too heaps other good players, and Manu lone scores big surrounded by a few games(no disrespect but its true) we have most of our players putting up 8 or more a darkness, and tony, timmy, an manu just win the most.
GO SPURS GO!!!
they didn't say that they are the best ever they said that they are better than any 3 for the jazz which is why the spurs are leading
but they are the best active big 3 surrounded by the nba and will be in the top 10 adjectives time for big 3
Probably the best three in the league right very soon, but not ever.
they r not even one of the best 3 player combos currently active permit alone ever it is a total joke sleight of hand kareem worthy/ MJ pippen rodman/ kidd carter jeffererson /arenas butler jaminson
yes its a joke - jordan pippen and rodman
covering closed
against the jazz, yes
Why is that princess soft troop Dallas Mavericks losing to the Warriors?
Answers:
They should fire that dumb coach. It was pretty patent that GS'c coach outplayed Avry. Every time Nelson took a time-out, Warriors played much better. Every time Avry took time-out, Dallas has not changed the hobby score.
Again, Nowitzki will be made a scapegoat.
Nelson have done a great job within GS.
bc the mavs SUCk
i think you answered your own examine.
i haven't heard a word out of not a soul during the season when the warriors be not doing * ... all of sudden they spank the mavericks a million associates come oout and say they are warrior fans ya ok.
the maverick are the weakest team to ever win 65+ games ever! you could relay that they were stunted because they are coddled by their owner who lived his dreams through his money and his team. hey cuban that river surrounded by san antonio is follwing to a FOURTH CHAMPIONSHIP .
