Yes, this has be a long time coming for Crawford. He is a hothead on his best days, and this wasn't his best day. I've never see a guy get thrown out of a team game for getting the giggles on the bench. This is a blessing for NBA fan, especially with the playoffs coming. Just remember, apposite referees are usually anonymous. Famous refs are usually recognized for the wrong reasons.

yeah Stern's right. Despite being a Mavs follower I don't see any good pretext why he gave 2 T's to Duncan. Tim be just laughing! I indicate, c'mon, everbody has the right to gurgle whenever they want, right? and USA is called "the estate of the free..." so Tim has every right to guffaw. I really felt sorry for the Spurs that dark, coz the game would hold turned out different if Tim was here up to the end. And no, this isn't the first this have happened. It happen 4 seasons ago, during the playoffs between Spurs and Mavs too. but that time, it be against the Mavs. You can read the full article in this relation.
I think Joey Crawford deserves to be suspended and Tim Duncan deserves the fine. I hold been a intermediary and I know that sometimes a player, coach or fans can be pretty tough on referees even if adjectives their calls are the right one. But as a professional, Joey Crawford should own understand that any players would complain in the order of their fouls call agaiinst them even kids playing elementary arts school basketball. However, unless what Duncan was doing is threat to him and is stopping him from doing his duty then Duncan doesn't deserves the T. But if a player did use vocal abused again the referees or trying to draw from in their path of doing heir charge like keep on complaining to him even if the game have move on later a T is possible. However, a T for laughing towards a silly foul laughed by a player is impracticable. In Duncan case if he be truely laughing with Horry, Horry should own got a T too. So yes he does deserves the suspension. Duncan equally should have complain directly to official and NBa administration a bit than making a statement in the media. It kiils the credibility of the NBA administration. And sometimes a ref know it is a wrong call but keep their decision for credibility grounds too.
So please have some mercy on our referee, and referees please be professional.
