Who is the greatest NBA player of adjectives time?
Answers:
Bill Russell changed the way the team game is played (UNSELFISHLY) without one the primary scorer he led the Celtics to its first 11 titles within 13 years (would have be 12 except for an ankle injury in one finals series) they changed the lane dimensions because of him and modernized the speedy break with the rebound opportunities and outlet pass that Russell made(would probably have some outrageous number of quadruple doubles except that blocks and assists be not logged until well after his career), no player thru history have made a team as successful as Bill did, so successful surrounded by fact that they made him the first black coach contained by any major American sport, IN THE 60's ! When black players couldn't get through, or room with whites, be under constant scrutiny from the prejudiced public and abused surrounded by public places and harassed within their personal and professional lives... Bill led his college squad to a 55 game win streak and two consecutive NCAA titles, after which he lead an Olympic team (of non professionals) to gold ingots before going pro... when you consider he did adjectives this in the 50s and 60s surrounded by an area close to Boston, known for rocking busses and minority foul language...it is a far more superior achievement than anything MJ did...(imagine how lots MVPs Bill could have gotten contained by a society where minorities are held surrounded by equal regard, 11 titles, 12 finals apperances, team that got 100 rebound in a team game...won most of those titles playing heads up against Wilt when Wilt be in his prime...), after that I rate Kareem (lifetime giant scorer, 6 time MVP (most ever) and 6 time champion next to two teams) MJ (no introduction needed) Magic, and Wilt all a close second...the poster who rate DrJ must have never watch his early profession in the ABA or closely contained by the NBA...although he was one of my favorite players, Doc be poor on defense...I had followed him adjectives thru the ABA, when he played with Gervin on the Squires and adjectives the way thru to the Nets(the finishing slam dunk contest against David Thompson where he made the free throw dunk famous), which be right before he tied the NBA and that series where his 76ers lead Portland 2-0 in the finals and lost 4-2 (primarily because he couldnt guard capably against the 3 guard lineup plus Bill Walton) Oscar was a great guard, enormously versatile but never get a ring until a young man come to his Milwaukee team from UCLA name Lew Alcindor (Kareem)...

Either Michael Jordan Or KOBE BRYANT
well, enjoy you all forgot Oscar Robertson, man, he is number one within triple doubles nad one season he average a triple double, damn, and he was a one man show. Jordan, yeah, we can considere the best player of adjectives time, but he is da most popular by his merchandise. Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, George Mikan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, some many more we can consider the best player of adjectives time. but bottom line, my mind think Oscar Robertson because he was the first all-around player of history of NBA
There is no only 1great NBA superstar there is at least possible 20 great NBA superstars
MJ
To the guys who said Shaq and Kobe.Really!..you are such homers.it is obviously Michael Jordan.followed by Rolando Blackman (I am a homer too)

# 45
Michael Jordan. Hands down.
Unfortunately no one is the best player.Kobe,Shaquille,Johnson,... and so much more. Its too not easy to compare
Of this or any generation, it is Michael Jordan.
The solitary other player that can be in this convo is Wilt. Anything else is dumb.
Please do not notify me Bill Russell. If he was playing today, he would be merely a virtuous player. Just because he played in a time where on earth the athleticism was a fraction of it is today, be he allowed to get his share. In today's spectator sport, sorry Bill, you wouldn't be anything special. Send Jordan back to that era, and he is still Jordan.
Man adjectives the greats of their time will tell you Michael Jordan. If you look at the spectator sport today out of all the greats of this time nobody shows up to will their squad to victory close to Mike did. All of you do this at some point. Watch a game within the last few minutes and devise about how Mike seem to always rise to the happening in some course or another. Like somebody said Kobe but peep this when Kobe have a chance to put phoenix away closing season he didn't and he is my favorite player by far but because they found a way to stop him they go home. Who ever found a way to stop Mike? Now i want someone to answer that one and if you can't nearby is your answer. One more thing someone said Mike b/c of merchadise but merchandise never won a spectator sport for the bulls it only made Mike the most popular athlete
What should begin to Joey Crawford?
Question:31 year NBA ref.best in the winter sport ,but what he did to Tim Duncan was wrong. What do you have a sneaking suspicion that?
Answers:
The NBA should fine and suspend him. The refs have be getting away with profoundly of calls (especially near the technical fouls given departed and right). Seems like the NBA made rules that come back to regular place them in the cessation. The number of technical call are ridiculous and the refs appear to be playing god. I know Duncan complains a lot but is not vulgar. If he be in the bench and laughing beside Horry, the actions seem inappropriate for getting a T and ejected surrounded by a critical game. Its really a shame to the activity!!
Tim Duncan should take him out posterior and knock some sense into him. Apparently he's getting grouchy in his ripened age and there's no room in officiate for that.
I didn't watch the activity so I can't really say anything, but from what it sounds close to it seems resembling he should be fined or fired, it was intensely strange what he did.. who knows conceivably he's going crazy in the cranium. I mean nobody have a "problem" with tim duncan, he's a outstandingly nice guy. I mean he wouldn't even brawl joey crawford when he asked him to fight. I would enjoy socked him in the facade!
Fined. But nothing will come to pass, it looked pretty much staged.
nothing will come to pass to him. he si sterns butt buddy, and has be getting away with bogus call since i can remember. i think they should fine refs close to they do players, owners, and teams but it will never evolve.
I think the incident should be evaluated, video replayed and looked at and the appropriate action taken as it is near the players when at fault. Apply fines and or time sour. This is a sport not a personal battle. I give attention to the ref. was absolutely out of line. Tim is one of the better players within the league, sportsmanship and all.
CRAWFORD IS AN A-HOLE JUST LIKE HIS BROTHER AND FATHER.
He shouldnt be allowed to ref contained by the playoffs. Teach him a lesson. I am not a spurs fan but that probably cost them the team game yesterday. What he did was dismal.

Was Joe D right?
Question:read the artical and let me know if you guess Joe d was right.
http://www.nba.com/pistons/news/langlois...
Answers:
logically Joe D was right! look at the season and series. Dumars is the best GM within the biz.
Chauncey has be the deciding factor for this squad since the 2002-2003 season. they lost in the conference finals against New Jersey ONLY because Chauncey sprained his ankle and wasn't competent to play.
Ben played fairly horrible closing year. the only basis Detroit hit 64 wins be due to the more offensive philosophy of Flip Saunders, so Billups, Rip and Sheed be the players that really made the team stir.
we were lucky surrounded by the end to receive C-Webb. because Nazr Mohammed wasn't working out at all. but we would enjoy still had Maxiell, McDyess and Davis short Webb.
if your point guard just requests to shoot the ball, it's going to effect everyone's play because in a minute players aren't even getting the opportunity to produce on the offensive ruin.
and I don't know if you've ever played a pickup game, but you usually don't want to rush down and play frozen defense when you feel your teammates don't even want to include you contained by the offense.
I really don't know of giving up Ben Wallace was such a apposite idea or not but as far as keeping Billups or getting rid of Wallace is concerned later yes it was a virtuous idea to save Billups and let Ben turn I gues if you think just about what Joe Dumars said it does make alot of sense surrounded by some ways if you had to tolerate one go who would you permit go of? Billups your 2004 Finals MVP or Wallace your Defensive player of the year, so surrounded by this case Joe Dumars made the right chioce of letting turn Ben Wallace and keeping Chauncy Billups besides Billups has done more for his squad than Wallace has
