Who's the best player within the NBA playoffs so far?
Question:Nash, duncan, billups, lebron, baron, kidd, amare, deron, boozer, ak? anyone else?
Answers:
Thats a tough question, but I'd own to go beside Baron Davis. So many point guards enjoy been playing amazing though...Kidd/ Nash/ D Williams. Boozer have been exceptionally dominant as well.
Steve Nash. No other troop is impacted by a single player as the Suns are. Take away Nash, and the Suns lose.
Baron Davis. He played like an MVP on the first round, beside a bad knees and all. He be the catalyst to defeating the Dallas Mavericks. If it weren't for him, Warriors wouldn't even be within the playoffs.
B DIDDY!!
He is single handedly willing the Warriors through the playoffs.
I'd own to say that the biggest difference inventor is Baron. AK47 has also be unexpectedly good.
BARON DAVIS BUT BOOZER IS CREEPING UP
Billups, what is his squad record on the current playoffs so far? 6-0 ?
-EDIT- as of 05/10/07, The Pistons are 7-0.
I can enunciate the same point about LeBron, He's also 6-0 but statistically Billups is a bit better and worth more to his squad. Thanks to the emerging Sasha Pavlovic.
IMO that is.
Steve Nash is the best player contained by the playoffs right now, second is the undamaged entire phoenix team
Tim Duncan. He's an automatic double-double contained by the playoffs. Also, he's doing a heckuva job defensively.
this seemsto be a concern of opinion. but they read aloud kobe -cause of excitment he packs them chairs and puts on a show.
i say d-wade end in hes a proven leader when he's at least possible 80% the person tha score the most points dont mean a item. some say nash result in hes like trickery johnson, too be honest, but u can say tim duncan cus hes a accurate role model and model citizen.i have no favorite right
So far it's gotta be Baron Davis, he newly carved up Dallas and Utah's defense. A close second is Carlos Boozer.
Nash. Leading his suns to victory over the spurs within game 2 be heroic, with 20 pts. and 16 assts., considering the gash to his antenna
billups! man! he is quietly chief the pistons deep contained by the playoffs and hpefully to another title. just resembling 2004.. he is ready to shock the world again!
Tayshaun Prince and Chauncey Billups are bloodshed the Bulls and their team will probably capture another sweep. Those two are the most impressive to me contained by the playoffs so far.
It's either Steve Nash or Baron Davis!! I'd voice Nash cuz he is always on top, but Davis is see butt too! So fare the Suns look pretty good and Davis's Warriors are down 2-0! So really, thats the lone tie breaker is the future of the team in the playoffs right immediately, though things can change!
for me it's nash. he played near a stiched-up nose
You nail it with those. I similar to the play of Baron Davis and Deron Williams.
It's that time of the year for great guards to take over... gone be the days where high guys can bully themselves to greatness.. now its athleticism and creativity that reigns supreme...
Definitely the best player within the playoffs is a toss-up between Baron Davis, Steve Nash and Duncan...
Statistically its Jason Kidd he is averaging a triple double and only one other player have done that through a playoff Oscar Robinson. As far as motivational it would definitely be Baron Davis who help his team over the number one pip.
Tayshaun Prince is dominating on both ends of the floor. He regularly gets the toughest protective assignments and changes the winter sport. He is not a superstar so he can sneak up on teams and pinch full advantage.
Go Pistons!
Baron Davis. He have been playing hurt adjectives season long and a new injury during the first round. If he wasn't tossed out, they would of swept the Dallas Mavericks. Baron Davis have resurrected his carrer.
LeBron and Kidd
Tim Duncan
Baron Davis. On and off the court.
I ThInK tHaT bOoZeR, bIlLuPs, ANd DAvIS aRe The BeST PlaYeRS iN THe PLAyOFFs . because:
billups- lead the pistons to be undefeated in the playoffs
boozer- he make yao and mcgrady out of the playoffs
davis- with his quickness dirk and the other maverick's players be suffered to be eliminate into the road to the finals!
Close one between Boozer and Davis. I'm going to shift with Boozer because he is breaking down GS.
Billups ..he is playing w a crazy hallucination this year..like contained by 2004
its a joy to examine him when he is firing on all cylinders
Billups and LeBron
LeBron James have been the best so far. His recent play will lend a hand dispel the myth that he doesn't do well below pressure. Amare Stoudemire has also soothingly stepped up his play, and of course Baron Davis have to be mentioned for his terrific performance against Dallas.
Did Michael Jordan ever allow or deny the prosecution that he kept Isiah Thomas stale the innovative Dream Team?
Question:Did Michael Jordan threaten not to play for the U.S. if Isiah Thomas was included contained by the 1992 Barcelona Olympics Dream Team Roster?
Answers:
Those were plain rumors and speculations. Michael neither admit nor denied the accusation. It be so speculated because MJ and Isiah had this running vengeance which began contained by 1985 when Thomas allegedly instigated the "freeze" on Michael during the All-Star game. This continued during the intense Chicago-Detroit rivalry contained by the late 80's and hasty 90's. It was said that MJ's alleged move during the Dream Team screening process was contained by retaliation to Isiah. However, nothing really come out of it, and eventually, MJ and Isiah became friends, the latter even coaching Michael during his ultimate All-Star game surrounded by 2003.
Don't think so, If he did, the entire basketball community would own heard something like it, would have be on sports center and in numerous articles within the sports section, so i'm saw no and we probably will never find out either unless he comes out and admit it, so far it would be just speculation, or Isiahs' word against his but I don't reason Thomas has even said Jordan "kept" him bad the team?
No love for Dirk Nowitzki?
Question:Okay folks, first, I am a huge Mavericks fan and I've be a fan of Nowitzki since he come into the league. He has elevated his hobby to elite status surrounded by the past few years. He can gain 25 points a game, he's an above average rebounder that can find between 9 and 10 rebounds a hobby. He shoots a high percentage from the strip (90%), the field (50%) and from three point domain (40%). He's the star player of the star studded Dallas Mavericks and a serious MVP candidate. Yet adjectives I hear lately is criticism like "Well he choked later year in the Finals" and "Well the Mavericks would still be worthy without him" and "He get a lot of confident points". All kinds of negativity. A picnic basket is worth 2 points no matter how you bring back it, dunking, layup, jumper, tip-in, etc. My ask is, why all the haterism on Dirk Nowitzki's activity? He can score any instrument possible, rebounds and plays above average defense (it could be better). Why no love for Nowitzki?
Answers:
you are right!! however, I AM NOWITSKI FAN!! AND PREDICT THE MVP FOR HIM THIS YEAR,AND THE NBA TITLE!! his activity is one of best in basketball! it will come down to him and nash!! for mvp!! virtuous point, dude!! you ger best question of morning in my book!!
The source is that he needs a ring the one and only reason steve nash get more love is cause hes on the squad that stay undefeated the first few weeks of the year.
people r retarded. nowitzki is mvp ovoiusly. nash have had a lucky season but amare have had to verbs nashes extra weight.
NOWITZKI IS WAY BETTER.
ALMANSTER OUT
Nowitzki have yet to prove himself.
Yes he have a good team game, but he's not the defensive player that Tim Duncan or Shaquille O'Neil is. He may be the organize scorer on his team, but within all honesty ask yourself, would the Mavs be as successful minus Terry, Stackhouse, Howard, and Avery Johnson?
Nowitzki has the luck to earn his respect this year. A very determined and hygienic Spurs team is pretty much a lock to come upon them in the Conference finals. If he can organize his team historic the Spurs, then invasion a ring, his detractors will change their tune.
naw i own love for Dirk yea yea I love the Dallas Mavericks
Being a Dirk fan and Mavericks follower I understand where on earth you are coming from, every great player has a ton of criticism that go along with it. Even Michael Jordan, and I wont even step into Kobe Bryant. The difference is you probably follow Dirk more than most of the other stars in the league so it affects you more. You retribution attention more. If you were a huge Tim Duncan devotee (which I definately am not) you would hear all of his criticism adjectives the time, like what a whiney infant he is. Make sense?
LeBron chockes again...guess hes the subsequent MJ right?
Question:poor lebron...i bet u hes crying in his hotel right very soon "but i got fouled!" idk if he really get fouled hamilton had his hand up...but u gotta take it close to a man...uhh its just so funny watching him lose and chocking contained by crunch time guess hes the next MJ ... yup 100% agree.LeBron is the subsequent MJ ohh yeahh except all he can do is dunk and not engender a 2 footer..oh yup hes the next MJ fo sho...cant even kind a free throw...im not hatin on LeBron but im tired of hearing nation say hes the subsequent MJ...i think hes a lil too overrated right very soon..he cant even make a jumpshot or a freethrow man.and i do not mull over he will ever win a championship.hes only a highlight player resembling Vince Carter...they'll never win a championship
Answers:
I agree beside you 100% I hate to keep hold of he is going to be the M.J. when he can't win a game. He is not going to be the subsequent M.J. And also right he probally never make it to the finals not inless he go to another. You have hit this interrogate on top of the person in charge. And i agree with 100% lebron is OVERRATED
he deserves it
I seriously doubt that LJ will "never win a championship" but I do agree that at this point contained by his career he is not the subsequent coming of MJ. But then again, who is? It's an unreasonable comparison. However, with a short time ago three years under his belt he's playing contained by the East Finals. That's pretty impressive when you look at the rest of the Cavs roster.
MJ have Pippen, Rodman, Phil Jackson, and a great cast of supporting roleplayers. LJ have essentially none of those.
Firstly, Lebron has brought the cavs furthre than jordan brought the bulls at like peas in a pod point in nearby careers. Secondly, Lebron is a playmaker, not a shot taker, he be put under so much pressure from not shooting it contained by game one, that he be shooting it in winter sport 2 no matter what. The medium needs to shut up and Lebron would own dished it in activity 2 to one of 3 open guys and they would own won.
He's still young. Let's see how he can complete in the subsequent 10 or 15 years.
Keep in mind also that MJ didn't win right away. It be the Detroit Pistons (Bad Boys) that kept him from going to the finals for 3 or 4 years before he won his first contest. I was never a MJ devotee, but he was a dunker surrounded by the beginning and developed his shot as his art progressed. One last point - LeBron come directly out of high college. He "should" still be in college, so he is far ahead of where on earth MJ was at this point.
u cant be seriouse? own u not notice that lebron is younger after 75% of this years rookies? and you cant honoustly think he wont win a title fight, this season his taken his team to the confrence finals next to hu to be his second man? in satchel he gets smothered by D hu can he walk to thats a reliable play? no1!
IN game 1 he found Marshal contained by the corner open. Its perceptible at this stage inm his career steer can shoot the trey awsum but thats it. Why dnt u put urself in his shoes ur contained by the air smoothered by D, you see a player that once hit 12 threes surrounded by 1 game huge open within the corner. do you:
A) Go Kobe style and take the shot
or
B) Pass the globe to an open player? (Marshall)
But yea your definatly right bout him human being "just a lay emphasis on reel player. Hell he lone averages 25+ points 6+assists and 7+ rebounds and thats be dopne before by liek 2 undamaged people so his get nothing.....yea u get it i was human being sarcastic and how can u read aloud ur not a lebron hater? u just diss'd his winter sport, his future, and his basketball wisdom id beckon that hating. ok so ur probz gonna inscribe this as the worst post ever coz its not wat u wanna hear but its not bout wat u wanna hear its about the facts
That is the problem beside the Cavs. They are over dependent on Lebron. He didn't get the telephone he thought he should have, and subsequently missed on a tough shot. But look at what the other guys are doing. Larry Hughes missing an plain J Ben Wallace might have made, and Varejao missing from the putback. If you miss a clutch 3 times contained by a row, I suppose the game freshly wasn't going for the Cavs on the day.
Lebron is still babyish. There's no question give or take a few his ability or his attitude. Its up to the Cavs whether they presume he deserves better help than what he's getting at the moment.
All he can do is dunk and not net 2 footers? You got to be kid me! Overrated? Do watch basketball? Lebron does these things that another player contained by this league who is also compared to MJ will never do. Pass and play defense. Lebron is one of the best passers in this league. I don't close to the Cavs... but Lebron is a good player and he probably will be the subsequent MJ. I'd like to see you trade name a game defeater while being guarded by the one of the best defender in the NBA.
Sad item is this may be his highlight years. People may forget just about him in a couple of years kindly of like Carter. In my assessment, it doesn't matter if Jordan be this "good" at LBJ's age, he grew as a player and I think folks liked him more knowing that he worked really intricate to earn respect as a player. Lebron had respect from the inauguration, which is what I don't understand. Lebron have so much respect right now, and what if he doesn't draw from better? Oh well, I know not a soul can compare to MJ.
I agree with you on him not individual the next MJ. The just thing I've see him do is dunk, and he doesn't even do that unless it's fast break. He'll never be a appropriate shooter unless he changes that form; he'll hit some lately because of his coordination and athleticism, but they won't go within consistantly.
If anything he is the next Dominique Wilkins, but he isn't as accurate as him yet any. He doesn't even play like Jordan, Wade plays resembling Jordan, I would say he have the best chance of becoming as close to Jordan as you can get(out of the guys contained by the league now). Kobe is good, but ususally lately shoots jumpers. He used to play close to jordan when he dunked on everyone.
For those of you that say Lebron have gotten farther in the post season than Jordan did within his early years: Do you consider that might have anything to do beside the East utterly sucking this year? The Wizards would have routed the Cavs in the first round if it wasn't for 2 of their starters self out. The bulls could have overcome them too if Detroit hadn't knocked them out.
And as you can clearly see, Lebron is NOT playing close to Jordan in the playoffs. I havn't see him raise his winter sport at all, I don't meditate he can take the pressure(though he is still immature so I'll excuse that). So obviously he is overrated, he's simply athletic and big which somehow makes him the best player surrounded by the league? Ridiculous. You have to be capable of take your man any time, hit the clutch shot, create the right decisions, and completely dominate(havn't see him do any of those). I'll take Steve Nash over James.
