Who think that Ike Bazooka Quartey be cheated within his struggle against Vernon?

Answers:

Heck, I thought Ike was robbed vs. De La Hoya. The with the sole purpose person I've see legitimately beat him is Vargas. I've be a Quartey booster ever since he beat Crisanto Espana (whom I thought have a bright future ahead of him).

Ike have one of the best left hand I've seen within awhile. Now if we could just capture him to stop slapping with that right and put some torque into it.
IT WAS A CLOSE FIGHT THAT COULD HAVE GONE EITHER WAY.

P.S. I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE ROBBERY IS AS COMMON IN BOXING AS IT IS EVERYDAY ON THE STREETS OF AMERICA.
why does ike return with himslef into these close fights to fire up with? is it becasue he is not a domintaing gunfighter? vernon,de la hoya, vargas were adjectives close fights surrounded by wich he clearly lost by slim margins.ike quartey was an 'almost' great boxer.
Ike be robbed he was the agressor through the struggle and landed more punches. Forrest tired and didnt do anything to win the m¨ºl¨¦e. Vernon didnt want it Bazooka did.

But at the same time both fighters are not at A height anymore they are maybe B or C fighters. They both should retire.
Ike clearly assault Forrest and got robbed. Like Smitty say, boxing isn't like going to church, sometimes it's simply questionable but for outright criminal. Pernell Whitaker has be the victim of some of the worst decision the blogbaba has ever see. I stood right there and watch Pea win eight of twelve and score a knockdown over Oscar DeLa Hoya and somehow the magistrates gave the m¨ºl¨¦e to DeLa Hoya. It was worse than the draw he get for winning ten of twelve against Chavez. Far and away the worst edict I ever saw was when a guy name Dave Tiberi beat the daylights out of James Toney, won adjectives twelve rounds by wide margins and still lost the ruling. It happens, it's almost expected to start, and the public enjoys the outrage almost as much as the barney itself. Boxing is sometimes as corrupt as any other business, what are you going to do? Life isn't perfect.
No one. Vermon kicked his butt pillar to post!

Oscar de la hoya vs Roy jones jr?

Question:who do you think will win
Answers:

Yep, the weightiness difference is the problem. Even though Roy started at middleweight, he's fought as big as heavyweight. He's simply the larger man, and would dominate Oscar even if they could find a catch immensity both were somewhat comfortable at.

Now, we should assume that both be the same size -- manner of pretend its a pound-for-pound competition. In that situation, I think Oscar would win today. Roy used to be the far superior opponent -- hand speed, creative punching, and smooth defense. But, within his recent fights he's looked extremely old. (Think in the region of the shocking KO losses to Tarver and Glen Johnson!) In contrast, although Oscar is now commencement to slow down, he has not on the other hand looked old/worn out. And, Oscar still brings a lot of power for his size and a TRUE determination to win.

Therefore, I think that today -- if the bulk differences are ignored -- Oscar would win. But, past 2004 it would have be Roy, no question.
Roy jones Jr he presents a difficult matchup for Hoya similar to Hopkins who knock Hoya out
Wouldn't even be close. Roy would play with him contained by round one and knock him out in round two.
Not a unprejudiced match up because Roy is much to big for Oscar. That's why Hopkins tempo Oscar, he was merely to big for him. Oscar's best weight is around 154 and Jones is a Light heavyweight.
In his prime Roy Jones Jr. be untouchable and if both he and DeLa Hoya met at their best it wouldn't went a round, Jones would hold smoked Oscar.

Right now, beside Jones all but retired and Oscar within peak condition for his struggle with a much smaller Floyd Mayweather, Jone's size would still be too much for Oscar to touch.

Either way Jones over powers DeLa Hoya on size alone.
adjectives these guys who say Oscar wouldn't ultimate a round with Roy Jones Jr are a bunch of Floyd mayweather nutthuggers.Oscar hung surrounded by there next to Bernard Hopkins (light heavyweight) for nine rounds! and Bernard is much stronger than Roy.yea Roy is bigger.but if they were matching size i would have DE la hoya kayoing Jones who have been knock repeatedly throughout his career starting contained by the amateurs.another thing oscar didnt lose to a south korean guy similar to jones did.

Mike Tyson Vs. Joe Frazier

Floyd Mayweather Jr Vs. Sugar Ray Leonard
Roy Jones Jr Vs. Marvin Hagler
HW: Pre-prison Tyson and Lennox Lewis.

MW: Same as you, eccentrically enough.
