Boxing Questions and Answers

If you are a apposite boxer, does that imply you are a correct enemy? when it comes to street fight?

Answers:

I had a friend who be a golden gloves champ. He was pretty correct when it came to street war, however he adapted his style to incorporate other things when he was aggression in bar or on the street. Meaning: he didn't simply rely upon his boxing.
you will be in better shape to filch blows
not necessarily. boxers learn to be at odds "by the rules". What are the rules to street fighting?

A friend be a golden gloves champ and thought he was hot stuff. He go away to college and picked a fight near some dumb farm boy. This fruit farm boy used to carry cows around because they be sick!!! CARRIED COWS!!! He wasn't much of a fighter, but he hit Mr Golden Gloves one time. Dislocated his shoulder, broke his collar bone, and crushed his rotater cuff.

Personally I wouldn't want to clash you if you're a boxer, but if I did I wouldn't use any rules. Straight for the throat, the groin and the eyes! I'm not in it to win, I'm surrounded by it to survive.
Sarge 157 gets a thumbs up, boxing is a sport, next to rules applied in a probably controlled environment, with a ref to regulate the sanctuary of the fighters. On the street is it easier to get an illegitimate gun than it is to get a grant for a gun. The days of two guys settling an argument with their fists may not be over, but they are far more potential to escalate the level of brutality beyond mere fisticuffs than even 20 or 30 years ago. I don't know if it is just that the medium publicizes street violence more, or if it really is more prevalent within today's society, but being a appropriate boxer helps simply in that your physical condition usually is better than the average guy. If that average guy is busting a hotel stool over your head or using something else as a weapon, you have better be in Sarge 157 mode incentive boxing isn't going to be enough.

Boxing help, but Bruce Lee's art of fighting in need fighting help more, and neither make you bullet proof.
Boxing vs street war? Two completely different forms of combat. In boxing, I'm sure you are aware there are rules. It is a national sport. There are several rules that will protect a boxer from severe injury. What are the rules within street fighting? The rules are at hand are no rules. Do you think the Mike Tyson from the mid 80's could nick on someone from the UFC? Not likely. Street warfare is for survival, not a paycheck.
What if someone is going to crack you round the head near a baseball bat.is Boxing training gonna help..?? Or come at you near a knife and want to do you impair.Boxing training should mean your fit plenty to run away from your assailant.and that's not being a p u s s y.Ive Boxed (fairly biddable Armature) but because the streets are so dangerous now (London where im from...Kids are stabbing other kids to loss at an alarming rate) Ive taken up Krav Maga (Israeli Defence System, meaning Close Combat) it deal with Knife,Stick (baseball bat) and even Gun attack and disarming.Very powerful in street combat..Lots of Groin...Eye...Pressure points Strikes as resourcefully as.
But as the man who teaches us said(and he's contained by the Martial Arts Hall of Fame).Avoid Confrontation.Run away if you have to.(even though that ain't surrounded by my make up).I've not have to use Krav on the street...yet...i hope i dint enjoy to...The days of two Men going out on the Cobbles (Fair fist fight..One on One) are gone...so i would read out that although Boxing gives you an help over someone who cant throw/take a punch...it gives you no power over someone determined to do you harm near a weapon...or even if they come for you Mob-Handed...
im a boxer and before you change the sport of boxing you must make some promises.. first you must recognize, that boxing only go on in the ring, outside the ring here is no lifted hand to commit injury towards any kind of intention in a disrespectful manner(outside the ring).. you also cram to respect and control your behavior and body..the best boxer wont ever fight surrounded by the street, then he cant be call a boxer.. <<no offence guys..
yes
Do you hold rules in a street collide? A boxer knows how to throw forceful punches and avoid being hit, but you are comparing apples to oranges, they do not necessarily translate.
Um the rules surrounded by Boxing are there because it is a sport. Hell UFC even have rules and it uses different styles of fighting. Street aggression is a no rule affair which can get you 6 ft beneath if esculates the wrong direction. Boxers are in more shape after regular joes on the street so if you were to slug it out it might be contained by your favor, but when it esculates to more than just punches afterwards you can get jacked up. Bottom smudge if you get into a authentic fight consequently use no rules because the other person sure the hell is not .

Thanks for the press..
Street fighting and Boxing are totally different animals. While a boxer is more conditioned to make available and receive punishment than the average guy, there are oodles variables in the street that boxing does not cover (weapons, multiple attackers, environment). Also, lots fights run out up on the ground where a boxer's arsenal will plainly be compromised.

Why does BoxRec enjoy their own rankings?

Question:They're often method off. The most up-to-date example is that Calvin Brock is now down as the top heavyweight. Why list rankings that are so strong to swallow? Doesn't it take away from BoxRec's reputation?
Answers:

because they can
Yes, their ratings are laughable and profoundly of times illogical. They dais their ratings on a win/KO formula regardless who the fighter beat. That web site is singular good for finding library of fighters and schedule of bouts.
I agree beside the first answer. Ring Magazine has rightly accurate rankings and ESPN's Dan Rafael updates his rankings monthly. BoxRec is the best to find a fighters record, but for the best up to the minute row news simply dance to www.fightnews.com
