Carlos Ortiz. Best Puerto Rican gunfighter ever?

Question:Carlos Ortiz? as he the greatest Puerto Rican fighter ever??
Answers:

Undoubtedly, Carlos is seed among the top ten.
At the top, a never seen power surrounded by his weight, unprepared punch speed, and innate talent in his prime beside bouts lasting 1-3 rounds is Wilfredo Gómez. His dedication to the gym and preparation, which be questionable anyway, eroded significantly at the end of his work which was highlighted by Salvador Sánchez annihilation. Rumors pointed to Wilfredo's affair next to PR actress Yohanna Rosaly shortly before this punch-up not only as showcase of his deficit of focus, but as foretelling the demise to come.
Félix "Tito" Trinidad ranks second in my scenery, although I have see his bout with Oscar de la Hoya several times and I have never inherent why Oscar lost it. True, Oscar danced away from Tito's ferocious attack during the concluding four rounds, but hey, that strategy kept Ali at the top throughout his entire career. Furthermore, power punches count be evidently favoring Oscar. Still, I do love Tito for the great fighter he be, being humble surrounded by a sparkling career next to $40 million in purses, and for wanting to share his victory with his race. Tito's anatomy is a perfect device of recovery need only 35 second to regain lost energy.
Wilfred Benítez become champion back he was 17, hitting established puncher Kid Pambele, which was a great exploit. Not known for his power, I hold never seen a better deterrent boxer than Wilfred, even over Ali in Wilfred's prime.
Sixto Escobar, Samuel Serrano, John John Molina, Alfredo "El Salsero" Escalera should also be near. The last two places belong to Central American and Caribbean gold ingots medal winner over Cuba's Olympic and world champions, which I reflect is the greatest boxing amateur feat surrounded by Puerto Rico's.
How's about:
Wilfredo Benitez
Alfredo Escalera
Edwin Rosario
Jose Torres
How more or less Félix 'Tito' Trinidad, Jr. or José Miguel Cotto ?
carlos ortiz??who's that?? should i say ask anybody for oscar de la hoya, the marquez brothers,or anyother obedient mexican fighters then they'll describe you
NO!, top 7, but definitely not the best.
Who within the world is that guy?? maybe they know him at lunch time within his house....
There are some great ones from Puerto Rico and he is right at the top.
I never saw him fight, but I bought a video more or less Latin legends of boxing and he was the solitary Puerto Rican boxer in it. The video included boxers like Roberto Duran, Salvador Sanchez, Alexis Arguello etc. etc. It is narrate by Edward James Olmos, maybe some of you own seen it. Anyway, if Ortiz be the only Puerto Rican contained by this film and others approaching Benitez, Trinidad, Gomez and so on were adjectives omitted, it speaks volumes of this boxer.
Might be wrong..but my suggestion is Esteban DeJesus..does anyone remember the 3 fights between him and Roberto Duran?...he be really good...currently I would influence Trinidad....DeJesus was really a great opponent and actually made Duran cry when he lost to him right after he have won the lightwight title in 1972(non-title beside DeJesus)....last I hear of him he died in prison of AIDS....Duran have the upmost respect for him and went to look in him prior to passing away!!

What are your prediction of Wladimir vs Brewser division 2?

Question:who gonna win
Answers:

Wladimir will choose his punches wisely and sparingly for the first two rounds and will preserve Brewster at bay near jabs. By the third round an opportunity will open and Klitchko will annihilate Brewster and hushed many of the critics next to a KO. Even with this final of a victory it will be more competitive than his mandatory defense against Ray Austin who cave in from 4 gone hooks in the 2nd round.
This is a no brainer by the 7th Brewser should be within LaLa land watching the birdies while he lay on the canvas.
WLAD IS GOING TO WHIP IS ASSS
wvald will out box him this time he have gotten alot better, brewster down in the 9th
Revenge. Vlad is the best out nearby now.
Another boring win for the European.
Wlad take him out in just about 4. Wlad was a sick man the final time they fought-I mean, he be completely spent by the third round, he was NOT ok-and Brewster took dominance of it. Brew is a legit heavy world class thickset, but dont expect the same scenario to play out if they collect again.

Is 29 too elderly for a womanly to fire up training for amatuer boxing?

Question:29 years old, I hold always be athletice, and in a moment ago about every sport. The bygone 2 years I was focused on institution and work...moderate excercise only, I am presently determined to get fund into shape, joined a boxing club, but own heard comments almost being to frail to train for actual competition
Answers:

ohhh you sould see the movie "million dollar baby"...
Well i think if you will be an amature boxer... ably it is fine
but as a professional... watch the movie...lol
Anyways I devise you will still bring your best in the spectator sport if you started 29 or 30 or 35... you just necessitate the passion and love for the team game...
for actual competition... yes you could still win im pretty sure...
...i know you will enjoy boxing...paalam!
your never to antediluvian for anything. as long as you are dedicated, work have and are passionate going on for what you are doing there is no such entry as too old. coming from a 20 yr hoary male.
I HAVE TO SAY YES MOST BOXERS PEAK ARE AT THAT AGE.
Candy ~
Are you kid me, it wasn't about five years ago that your average age of feminine Champions was over the age of 30. The age have been younger contained by the past few years do to the certainty that more woman are getting into the sport but there's plenty of woman in their belated twenties and early thirties competing and doing immensely well surrounded by this great sport.

If you have the will and desire to box afterwards by all way box, don't let your tender age of twenty-nine hold you subsidise. The worst thing that you can do is sit hindmost and let some one explain to you you can't do something. You'll be fine, get yourself a Trainer that you are comfortable beside and has your best interest at heart and listen and cram and everything will be alright,

Good luck!
If you are only interested surrounded by an amatuer career, afterwards my opinion is that your age doesn't concern that much. Only when you aspire to the highest level of professionalism does it matter. But near the safety equipment employed by amatuers, you should be fine. In reality, if my daughter were to ask for my blessing to capture into the sport at 29 (OK, so she probably wouldn't ask... I get it), I would drive her to the gym and even foot the monthly fee. It is an excellent agency to get within shape. When you compete, you will have three two minute rounds. I can judge up 10 sports much more hazaderous than amateur boxing.
A person can register beside USA Boxing and compete in amateur competitions until they are 34 years ripened. The only downside against starting at age 29 is that you will run up against boxers who are younger and own more experience. Go for it! 8-)
Your age is just fine. I did not win started in boxing until I be 30, and now I am 37. I train near 21 year olds and keep up near them just fine. You are not to prehistoric to compete either.
Good luck.
as you would expect not, but if you're going for professional you might want to pick up the pace
Really, women bring up the sport much older than men do.
tons women start at your age or older, here really is not that many women boxing, so you could train for the amatuer championship, and another women may not even show up in your freight division, so you could be champ right of the bat.
as far as age, i did muay thai and boxing.
age does make a difference, at 35 i be way slower than at 25, though much stronger.
also, my rescue is much slower, i can be in cramp for weeks after a hard sparring session, but when i be young, i'd be surrounded by pain for possibly a day.
though we adjectives like to voice positive things regarding aging, our bodies do not act in response the same, unless we use "flax core oil, and arthritis balm" courtesy of BALCO.
