Ken Buchanan vs Lou Ambers. Who win?
Question:lightweights in their prime and 15 rounds
Answers:
Both men be scrappers but light contained by the power department. I see Ambers taking close split decision surrounded by this fight as he be the busier of the two fighters and would use his jab more effectively, i.e. as surrounded by his victory against Armstrong to win the lightweight title.
Lou Ambers win
Lou Ambers
Buchanan was a apt boxer but had little power. Ambers be a good boxer next to decent power.
Buchanan by split verdict. Both evenly matched fighters. I give the nod to Buchanan because if any has rather more power than the other it is Buchanan. Would wear Ambers down.
Why do relatives on this forum praise samuel peter, but criticize teh Russian Champions?
Question:Everyone on this forum loves sam peter yet hate the Russian champions? why is this? Peter, resembling the Russians is not an American..Does it have to do near race?
Answers:
I presume nikolay valuev is the most underrated title holder. He will soon have the greatest story of all defeat rocky Marciano's record and get little recognition. (49-0marciano) I reason bringing the Russian's into boxing will turnout to be the greatest thing to come to the sport since Marciano the greatest boxer of adjectives times. White boxers return to take the sport pay for. This will sell tickets and seize the younger generations interested within the sport again. Since political correctness you can't promote this great white hope like contained by the good old-fashioned days.
We like Peter because it irritates the multiple avatar users.
happymrzot - explained it capably in his answer.
People close to peters because he is a hard hitter. Many relatives like his style, purely like populace like Tyson when he be not the best either.
As for the Russians, most are unproven.
Wlad is considered by most inhabitants the true champ, and he deserves that recognition.
Valuev and Maskaev still enjoy not shown great skill. The have won but they are not exciting.
Sadly, Klitschko is the lone good boxer within the division. He is a pretty good opponent, but lacks the personality to put together the division interesting. Also, he did have a few suspect losses.
Face the facts, the heavyweight division is a mess. Klitschko, desires to unify the title and he will draw from the recognition he deserves.
I come here remarkably often and one of the regulars on this forum and hold not noticed this at adjectives. I have notice that not once have you answered any of my boxing question though. Maybe you just don't really know anything give or take a few boxing history and want to try and turn everthing into a race issue. Is this judgment why you don't seem to be capably liked on this forum? For one entity the titleholders is plural and to me a true champion is a solid champion. Peter is a worthy promising fighter but I'm not a big admirer of his really. I believe you just come on here to instigate trouble and I infer that that is the bottom chain behind your useless question.
The heavyweights division is watered down and bland ever since Lennox Lewis retired. If these guys were more skilled and have more charisma this would be worth discussing.
I save spraining my right wrist when practicing on a punching pouch, what am i doing wrong?
Question:I recently purchased a 60 lbs. punching sack and put it in my garage. I am right hand, so when I hit it with my right mitt, it is usually a straight right, right hook, or uppercut. But lately I have hurt my right mitt, mainly within the meaty part of the palm where on earth the thumb meets the paw, and it seems close to i am continually spraining my right wrist. It does not happen beside my left paw, only the right. I know it is most imagined a form issue, I just dont know what it is, and could use the suggestion.
Answers:
it might be that u r not taping ur wrist properly
check your elbow position first, dont tolerate it fly out. then if thats not it, youve changed your wrist/hand angle to prevent torment in the thumb.
hit it softer
label sure you are making a proper fist. but it could also be that your jsut starting out and your hand is starting to catch sore. my right hand be like that for a week but it toughened up.
use wraps and gloves duh and produce sure you put on the wraps properly
ok im ive been contained by boxing for about 3 months
clear sure when you punch ,punch stright dont let it slide past its sell-by date
I box and this happens to some nation. I have never hurt my mitt boxing. The reason why is because you are to close to the pack. you have to swot to use your reach.
revise your distance from the bag and don't hit the sack with adjectives your might just sting the sack.
About the using your reach issue, if your simply starting out, make sure you don't hyperextend your arm because that hurts close to a s.o.b.
The only piece i could think of is your not using proper punching technique or possibly your not wrapping your hands properly. If your not wearing gloves or handwraps at adjectives then thats the problem. If you plan on hitting it strong then you should definetly wear handwraps and gloves.
FIrst of adjectives, have it checked by a doctor. Even if you come up with you don't need too. Keep your wrist straight, ensure proper wrapping, wear purse gloves. If you case, receive some bag gloves that will present greater protection, not those gloves with little insulation in it.
Give it profoundly of time to rest. Try to not put any stress on it. It could very economically be tendonitis or carpal tunnel
make a tighter fist and pop your punches don't push them and lock your elbows
use foot wraps, and if you already are, then ask someone that know about them to show you how to use them properly ie: a coach
not tape your wrist properly ,,check your elbow also
You may not be wrapping properly. Or your hitting the bag while its stationary, this could well sprain your wrist if your hitting full power.
Hand wraps could be it, as could form or follow through, but I know from experience that so often I sort jam/sprain my wrist on a strapping bag by getting to into it. I lose a moment or two focus and throw a punch out as the bag is returning to me (as most hefty bags sway from punching). Throwing even a reading light punch at a sixty pound object coming at you is asking for problems. Is this probably what is happening next to you? If it's not this or some of the other things mentioned, then I'm stumped.
Also, what's done is done, knowing the lead to will help you to prevent it from stirring again. Get it checked out and let it treat properly. Use it minimally to not at all until it is better.
