Tendulkar is the best in surrounded by my opinion.

I would discount Ponting from the reckoning. Very greatly good, but I don't see him up in that with the other two. Between Lara and Tendulkar, Tendulkar used to be better on an average , but Lara's best other surpassed that of Tendulkar. And you can never rely on Tendulkar to carry it adjectives the way, to be precise more Lara/Inzamam territory :-)

I am an Indian so my belief is Sachin Tendulkar.
The choices for these are very tough.
I will right to be heard why they are tough to choose who is best-
Brian Lara- He is a very aggressive player and score the highest runs contained by Tests and plays well.
Sachin Tendulkar- He plays speedy and very stylish bat, stylish shots etc...
Ricky Ponting- He is a very honest player like Sachin and Lara, if Australia is contained by trouble most of the time he has help out.
So it is very tough to choose who is the best of adjectives the rest.
They are all brilliant players. Brian Lara and Sachin may be better batsman (Not at the moment, Ricky Ponting have been firing for the concluding 12 months) But they have never really succeeded as captain of there country. meanwhile Ricky Ponting's text as captain is amazing. He have also been competent to peform individually at the same time as person in charge Australia. Since he has be captaining his bat average has be higher than when he wasn't chief.

Think that this is a loaded question. In the first instance Tendulkar is by adjectives standards not "just" a batsman his 137 wickets show that he is best described as an "All Rounder"
So you can't compare Lara, Ponting and Tendulkar but for what it is worth:
Tendulkar is the stand out with more runs over more games but his 137 wickets brand a difference
Ponting (with over 100 less games than Tendulkar) is better than Lara but no wickets
Lara is on the process out and wont add much more to his TOTAL runs (and 4 wickets)
So minus a doubt if Ponting can last out another 110 games to corner up with Tendulkar he will be the BEST batsman but he will never pocket 137 wickets. So TENDULKAR gets the crown out of these 3.
Can a squad not settle on which players to play and which to rest...?
Question:Some writers ( I think they hold run of out ideas) are criticising Sri Lanka for resting key players. What's adjectives the fuss? Any team may wish which players to play and which to rest. This encounter (Aus vs SL)was not going to yield any concrete result as both are through to the semis. Does not a squad have a right to rest some of its players if it desires to?

Yes, each squad has defenitely right to opt which players to be rested and which players should play and nobody has a right to cross-examine them.

Usually most of the team have a inner group .. Team management... consists of Coach, Captain and some players. You can regard as as .. TEAM MANAGEMENT as Advisor to Captain. But CAPTAIN is the main being -so Called BOSS who can choose anyone..
Captain is also part of test committee.
What SriLanka did was a pre planned keeping final within mind. They know, that they won't get No. 1 by hammering Aus so just save main bowler out, if they qualify (Aus will qualify for sure) later Australia will have to frontage these three stars of SriLanka first time in WC Final solitary .This is an advantage for SriLanka.

I quite agree beside you. Some times after seeing some of the advertisements I too hold wondered why they wast lakhs of rupees in such ad which is not only allowable by the people, but also do not convey any purposeful import. Is our advertising Industry so poor that they cannot come out such personal ad which are not only eye catching but also bestow wide publicity for the products
